My wife and I got off our respective parents' accounts and opened a new Verizon account at this location. I couldn't be happier with the service we received. Jon Freeman and Kym Payne helped us with everything we needed, informed us of great offers ($650 off a new phone with a trade in and new line!!!), and were extremely friendly. I highly recommend this location for anything and everything cellphone/tablet/Verizon related! I visited many local cell phone company stores in Jacksonville when we were looking to switch, and this one was UNMATCHED! read more

You call them and you have to put up with AI for 10 minutes then a supervisor doesn't understand and has to check with their team before fixing something. Somebody already told you was going to be fixed. They say they're gonna call back in 1 to 2 hours 4 1/2 hours later no phone call so you call back now you're told by another supervisor to get an answer. It takes 3 to 5 business days. I guess Verizon works like the weather. You don't always have to be right just make up something and people will believe it for the prices they charge. It's completely ridiculous. How can they improve? I don't think they can. I think they care about getting your money. read more

Absolute scam artists - Though there's a giant Verizon sign out front, this is a third party affiliate and they use every tactic in the book including lying to get you to pay more money as they are all commission based. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. Two instances with two different people here, both of them trying to scam me for more money. For the business owner: Do not waste your time putting a comment on this for their phone number for "customer service" - You are running a scam, and I guarantee you know about all of your sales tactics you are teaching everyone in the building. read more

I have never done a bad review in my life but I have to to prevent damage being done by this associate again I spoke with an associate "maya" in order to receive a home WiFi router. I gave Maya my exact location of the address i would be using it at to make sure it was eligible. turns out she falsified the address to find one in jacksonville that was eligible to 7408 Roslyn blvd jacksonville Florida 32244 just a completely random address. When I specifically stated 3311 pine st fl 32205 which in fact never was eligible in the first place. She made me get suspended from my job because I was not able to work since I had a lack of internet service and make me get locked outta my Verizon account because a completely random address was on file. I have never seen someone Lie so intentionally before in my life and putting my job and career at risk. I might even have to make a suit for damages because she intentionally deceived me and made me lose substantial amount of income and my livelihood please someone higher up in Verizon reach out about this matter. read more

Verizon - Proof of fraud - Mobile Phones Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

Went here to get my wife a new phone today. We thought we were all set to check out when they tried to say we couldn't do the upgrade with our 6 year old "Grandfathered" plan. They tried to sign me up for some new plan "that should be less". When I declined the new plan they declined the trade. Got online and worked an upgrade effortlessly. Same phone. Same plan. No changes except the upgrade. Not a stellar in person experience. read more

I recently had a horrible experience at this Verizon store. I came in for an upgrade and I was told that my promotion no longer was available after spending the past three hours, changing my plan to make sure me and my children are eligible for upgrades. I was denied the upgrade. Stoffer, extremely rude and unprofessional. read more

Went into this Verizon location (or authorized retailer of Verizon services and products) to return a Pixel Fold case that I purchased less that 30 days ago. I was unable to return due to not having the original packaging that the case came in. The Return Policy on receipt does not state that the original packaging is required (photo attached). Agent continuously stated that just like Walmart or any other place, cannot return without packaging. Interesting... I guess he's never returned something at Walmart that does not require original packaging on accessories such as a phone case. Terrible service, and no acknowledgement of Verizon's written policies; they make their own verbal policies with nothing else to support the verbal claim. FYI: Maybe next time don't use Walmart as an example, as they have an easy, comprehensive, and thorough return policy and that I am certain they abide by, unlike this ridiculous Ortega "Verizon" location: https://corporate.walmart.com/policies#return-policy read more

Verizon - Mobile Phones Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

I am all but fed up with this account and Verizon in general. I'm have been sold things that i couldn't use nor would I get a refund because they told me they were mailing me a return label that I never received then was told nothing I could do to get my money back. This has happened twice with Verizon and never no one but me is out anything. Consider your options and stay on top of your account every day or they will take full advantage. The young lady at this location that goes by the name Coco because she says no one can pronounce her name, is a straight scammer. Be aware to get everyone's full name you deal with so that when you're cheated and lied to you can at least know the culprit by their real name. Apparently, this was not her regular store, so everyone acted stupid when I told them she slid me into a contract knowing I had the money to pay for any phone I want. I didn't need a payment plan. Definitely the worse store being they are a standalone and Verizon doesn't stand behind anything to do with them. Make sure you go to real verizon store not just a retailer trying to trap you into a bogus agreement. She straight looked me in my face and lied. read more

This store is yards from NAS Jacksonville and the sales staff did not offer the Verizon Military discount and the sales agent I encountered was offensive. He was focused on up-selling an overpriced generic unbranded Chinese screen protector and phone case for $45 and $49 respectively WITHOUT a military discount. In his rush to sell, he added a second phone and the cost to my Verizon count. Luckily I checked, call Verizon and had it corrected. Cellular Sales Corporate is tone-deaf to Military Veterans. Recommend the Orange Park location which is an authentic corporate Verizon store! read more

I have been a long time Verizon customer and have been very happy with all of my recent visits to Roosevelt's Verizon store. I had to get a new phone after my 3 yr old iPhone 8 crashed. Dustin was very helpful making sure I understood all of my options and took the time to go over my calling plan to make sure it still fit the needs of my family. He gave me some good cost cutting suggestions and was very pleasant and easy going. I never felt any pressure to buy anything I didn't want. Great customer service, always professional. read more

Sean was incredibly helpful and patient. He was sure to dot I's and cross T's before letting us leave. The atmosphere in the store was comfortable and friendly too! read more

Waiting waiting waiting for a sales associate to talk to me. This store is understaffed. This is the second time I've been here, waiting. The guy after me walked out without being helped. Come here if you like waiting for help and have a few hours to burn. read more

Lost phone, ordered a replacement through my insurance went into the store to inquire about purchasing a cheap phone for a temp replacement. I was told the cheapest phone they had was $200, the employee working there had an old phone and said I could use it until my new phone came him. I can't say enough of how thankful I am for Mr. Warren letting me use his phone. When I received my new phone was helped promptly to get it activated. Have nothing but good things to say about this store. read more

This store sucks really bad. I went last year for my boyfriend to get on my plan and I was convinced to get a new phone. Stupid mistake. The representative told me he would return my old phone back to corporate with the Edge program. Alas my phone came back to me in January stating they didn't receive it within 14 days. In the last three months the representative and the store have been no help at all and giving me incorrect information like keeping the phone. So since I've listened to them I'm past due and no credit on my account. I finally got to return my phone today so I can hopefully get the credit. Avoid this store like the plague! read more

Went in to this location to pay a bill and was helped promptly and as I was taking care of this the sales rep saw that I could save money for the same services I already had. This is the first time Verizon was trying to save me money. What a great experience. I will only do business with them. read more

Great customer service from Parker Brown. He is very knowledgeable at his job and helped with everything I needed. I would visit this location again. read more

The issue I had was quickly corrected, but the sales associate was beyond rude and unprofessional.
