After 20 minutes we politely asked the employee if we should check out Waterford or east Lyme if he had much longer left with his current customer. He stated "well I have a coworker here somewhere I'll try to locate." Then he went and found Manager Joseph Lopez who claimed he "owned the location." Joseph continuously took phone calls mid meeting or helped others who just walked in which prolonged our progress causing multiple delays, never apologized once, even after being there for an hour with little progress. I told him we would stop the process and go elsewhere to which he replied "go ahead, but this phones disconnected now." He is extremely unprofessional and lacks customer service!

I went in to get a new phone as I had broken the back of my phone earlier in the week. I was told in Groton T-Mobile that there was no way to do it and I would have to open an insurance claim, get a new phone via my T-Mobile insurance plan, then bring in the new phone to be able to get a new one. The said T-Mobile would not accept a trade in of my broken phone (everything works, no cracks on the front, the back is just cosmetically broken). We left. Went to Waterford, was told that what I was told in Groton is absolutely wrong, and was helped to order a new phone with a trade in of my old cracked one. Again, just go to Waterford.

This situation is a hot mess (but quite entertaining if you read the whole thing), so here we go…read morethe Verizon IT person who could override everything (Miss Key Master) hooked a sister up! So I don't know if this happened to anyone, do you remember that Apple update like a year ago that messed up a few peoples cameras? Yea, it was a big deal, I even went on the Apple site to complain and request a new update to fix it. (basically camera is either black screen when opened, just freezes on whatever image while moving the camera, and when you do snap the photo the image never saves to the camera roll) I mean a real disaster especially because we all pay like $8000 a year for phones, services, accessories etc right? Fix the darn camera. So no big deal I kept doing upgrades and the camera was still broken. For over a year. Finally, I went straight to Apple in Providence Mall (over 1 hour drive, had to take 1/2 day vacation time etc). The first visit. Dan ran diagnosis, no problem with the camera, but the 'genius' could see the camera was clearly jacked up. So we did the whole thing, cloud backup, release to Apple ID, erase data, and now the restore from the icloud takes hours so I said "if I go home and reinstall and it doesn't work what will you do and he said, we will replace your phone.", so I drove home hooked to power source and on signed into my Wi-Fi but after everything downloaded I check the camera to NOT REALLY be surprised but to find a broken frigen camera sill. I was fumin HOT! But now Dan said Id get a new phone so, the following week, again took a 1/2 day vacation, I drove over an hour back up to Providence and couldn't have Dan, no they didn't even know who that was so I got Mike..... who Dan told me one thing that was wrong... so we literally did the exact same crap as Mr Genius Bar Dan... So I said now when the camera is still a mess... I'm getting a new phone right..Mr Genius Bar Mike said, "No, no, no, then we take your phone to the back... dissect it and replace the internal camera." WTF have I been driving up here for if all you going to do is give me a refurbished phone. So, internally pissed off, I smiled, shook his hand and I thanked him and did all that stupid mess again... when that camera was yet again still broke....I took my happy but right over to the Verizon in Groton. I showed the Verizon gentleman all the Apple Genius Bar notes and requests and two days of travel etc... just so he knew that this camera is freakin BROKEN, no water damage, no I never dropped it, never sat in the sun nothing it was that stupid Apple upgrade ... shoot look up my name from the complaints on Apple a year ago to confirm that it was an Upgrade malfunction please. So Mr Verizon guy was nice he was, he did his job as he was trained to do...talking to me that I could go through insurance and pay $100 or I could buy out the phone for my 18 months left on the contract for $490... and get into a iPhone 15... What? Wait...hold the heck up. Yo Yall messed up MY phone, I've been doing all this back and forth, up date, after up date all hoping that I'm doing the right thing...now I gotta pay to fix your mistake....NO I am so so sorry I don't think so. He said, "I get it but I can't make that call to replace my phone for free call... I'm sorry, you have to call IT. So I chatted (all that you read above if you still here reading) withMiss Key Holder, miracle worker IT lady. And she said simply... Yes ma'am you should not be responsible for paying for a replacement phone, we will send you a new (same iPhone 14) to your house and you can set it up and send us that broke down camera not working for years (well she didn't say that) phone back okay. :) Thank you so much Verizon because I was about to go full on Michael Douglas - Falling Down on Apple, Verizon and who ever got in my way ... so lady at IT...you saved me from a life sentence in prison and many families still have their family members... well done.
