I've had a terrible experience with this AT&T location. I was given false information multiple times, both in person and over the phone, which caused me to waste hours and make several unnecessary trips back to the store. Their billing practices are also deceitful -- they added hidden fees to my monthly bill and auto-enrolled me in services without explaining anything. Overall, the customer service was disappointing and unprofessional. I do not recommend this store to anyone. read more

We went to this store to get new phones and transfer service from another carrier. 5 trips to the store later we have two working phones. But, my first bill from AT&T billed me for service for an iPad I don't own and we were over billed for initial services. When I asked them to cancel and remove the iPad I don't own they also canceled service to the one I do own. Then they didn't seem to be able to restore the service. Very disappointed with the level of service and concern. Perhaps their other stores perform better. I recommend avoiding this store. read more

Ashlee at this store completely lied about how much our bill would be. We went into this store just trying to switch my husband's phone from Verizon to my account on AT&T. After spending 4 hours in the store, we left only to find out everything was wrong and the estimated bill was wrong. I then spent a total of another 6 hours trying to resolve the mistake and now I am receiving $400 bills even though we only have 2 phone lines. I was told our bill would be $129.49 plus taxes on a repeated basis. Now no one can seem to help me unless I go to the store yet again. Please tell me why I should go and waste another 4 hours of my time. I'm regretting ever making this switch and specifically choosing this store to help me!!! read more

Absolutely terrible service. Advertised a trade in offer to us online but when we got there and waited 40 minutes, we were told they didn't have any of the models they advertised because "they didn't get a shipment this morning" which they do every day. Representative Rory told us we should go to another location but due to the ridiculous wait, we had no more time left in our day. Rory also told us to come back to a location on Friday to take advantage of the offer then. Friday came and lo and behold, the offer ended the day before. Terrible service which can be interpreted in no other way than attempting to take advantage of your consumers. A complete perplexing nightmare leaving me scratching my head!!!! Firstly the tablet where you sign in as you enter the store was dead and remain dead for at least 15 minutes till somebody decided to replace the battery I then signed up and was 10th in line even though there was only four people in the store Here I was simply trying to return a product that did not work and needed to be refunded It was frustrating simply because the product I had gone all the way there to purchase was faulty There was no apology given for the faulty product.!!! I saw sales people go back-and-forth through the employee only door and wondered who was back there Was there a pool table or a hot tub? It just seemed like there's a lot more people back there than on the floor where there were just two and at one time three When someone did come out instead of coming directly to me since I was the only one in the store without a staff person attached she listed all the people that had left, and we are no longer in the store There are a lot of dissatisfied AT&T customers today!!! So I was there October 13 to switch over my plan from T-Mobile to AT&T. The gentleman that helped me was name one and I think he was the manager of the store. He gave me all the information and how my bill was going to be $55 with all these promotions. I couldn't believe it best bill I've ever seen. T-Mobile doesn't even compare well I hadn't received my bill so he mentioned it'll probably be two billing cycle so probably be $100 give or take which I understand I get my bill today. It is $223. I was so upset. I called customer service and they explained that the promotions don't kick in till the second or third billing cycle, he did not mention any of that to me. He took full advantage of me going by myself being a single girl and me, trusting him not asking questions which I get is my fault on my part. I should've asked more questions, but him being the manager of the store being super knowledgeable. I believed everything he said. He took complete advantage of me and didn't relate any of that information and also didn't relay that if I kept my phone that I brought on for 24 months I get a $600 credit didn't mention that to me at all. I am so upset how someone could take full advantage of someone I was being nice polite. I was excited to join the AT&T family all to be lied to and not given the truth of what my actual billing cycle was gonna look like thank God for the customer service and the young lady that I talked to. She helped me out and dropped my bill to what it should have been. I'm very grateful for her and all the promotions she was offering me unfortunately I just wanted my bill to be fixed she fixed it. Don't come here unless you're ready to re-up your contract and lock in for another few years. They don't sell very many individual phones, and the associates will steer you away from any purchases that don't give them commissions. Skyler is super helpful. I've called AT&T on the phone many times with zero success accomplish what we needed. I had spent hours on the phone. Finally gave up with calling customer service and went to the store. Skyler was able to help us. The process to about an hour and we waited about 15 minutes to be seen, but it was a great experience. So 75 minutes in store with mission accomplished vs 4-5 hours on the phone with nothing accomplished. This review is probably more representative of Skyler over the store, but still.... read more

I wish I could give a negative star. The experience at this location was horrible and a waste for a couple hours. We waited for a while and finally got our name called. It was a Friday so I felt like the wait was reasonable. However, once we sat down it was down hill from there. Our rep would not take no for an answer on switching our carrier. We went in to change our internet and either upgrade or cancel Directv. Well, none of that happened. He kept making side comments about how we obviously didn't want to save money bc we weren't willing to switch our phones. I thought we were good on upgrading our internet and would simply cancel our tv but the guy gave me a number to do it at. He actually stood up and walked us to the door, again saying I guess yall don't want to save $1000 a year. Oh and told us we would get a survey about his service and asked us not to fill it out! Abysmal. Bar far the worst store in the general area. After the last three trips out to this store, I have vowed to never return and to will go out of my way for another store in Austin. Staff is not only not knowledgeable, but some of them are down-right unfriendly. Tried to get an ESIM moved to another phone, but the gal told me to call 611 to get it done faster and would not take my State issued ID to access my account. I had no cell service which did not interest her at all. She dialed the ATT customer care number and handed me the store phone and basically had the attitude of "good luck". Hold time was 40 minutes so I hung up. She watched me walk out without saying a word or asking if my issue was resolved. I went to the next closest store in Ausitn and was out within 15 minutes with the problem solved, no issue with my State issued ID. Another time I walked into the same store when it was empty, yet no-one asked me if I needed help, nor did they even acknowledge me when I walked in. I sat down for 15 minutes, no one assisted. Meanwhile, I ordered the new iPhone from Best Buy while in the store and picked it up at Best Buy 15 minutes later a happy customer. WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! BEWARE OF GET CHEATED! I feel there should be an option for the negative rating to warn everyone to go to this store. Even with written commitment there is no honoring so strongly recommend all not to go for this store and in fact ATT itself is a much dangerous and you will lose peace of mind. On Jan 6th, 2023, total 10 Mobile phone connections as a group ported from T-Mobile to ATT. Store committed to provide below credits for each connection: $300 porting credit and $150 store credit for each connection and to all 10 connections. Attached the sheet in the table and in the contract, document written on that day. But Store has not given the credits as per the commitment and so far, more than $900 credit is missing and for the remaining 2 years of contract missing another $1800 credit for all connections together. So total $2700 credits are missing for overall contract. Zia and Neil are the agents given the connections however Zia seems to left the company with in 2 weeks and we never saw him in the store. Michael who is the store manager mentioned for any questions and concerns don't go to the customer care and said he will take 100% responsibility and resolve the issue. I want to store more than 15 times in last 1 year but Mike as store manager never even try to meet me and talk to him. Neil was already talking to me how ever he was saying he don't have an authority other than escalating and he claimed that he logged tickets with the company but never shared the ticket numbers. Shred all the screenshot communications with the Neil. Neil is so nice, and he clearly acknowledged that ATT and store manager did a mistake but expressed he is helpless at his authority level. Below are the missing credits which were committed/promised: [attached the screen shots] In summary, we are not getting credits for total $2700. -- 3 connections getting only $300 and not getting $150 - $450 total missing in those lines -- 6 connections getting only $150 and not getting $300 - $1800 total missing in those lines -- 1 connection not getting any credit -- $450 missing in that line So total $2700 missing. Attached the contract copy along with the promised/committed sheet. It's almost 1 year and still didn't have any resolution. When called ATT customer service they say not to trust store and store says don't trust ATT customer service. Could not able to get resolution. Being ATT such a reputed company never thought I will be get trapped in the false promise of their own ATT Store staff. It's a public fraud. I strongly feel the same have been experienced by other customers too and I sincerely feel ATT must need to be audited to all such cases and changed again FRAUD by respective authorities. There is lot of hidden costs which never been disclosed due to which phone bill got increased a lot when compared with our T-Mobile and also lot of charges for international calling and even incoming calling. I don't know why ATT, being such a reputed company need to cheat their customers. It's a big loss of moving from T-Mobile. We went there to trade in an old phone, and we waited in line for about an hour and when we were helped it was taking a while for the phone to finish resetting, so I told the employee that she could go help someone else while the phone finished resetting. Once the phone finished resetting we waited for the employee to be done helping the other customer, but once she was done she went to a different customer. We flagged her down, and she said they would have to get us back on the list. I was a little frustrated since I thought we were being accommodating by having the employee help someone else while the phone reset. I yanked the phone off the charger and said they would just go to a different AT&T store. Then the lady starts yelling at us. The manager came over and told her to step away and tells my wife and I to leave the store. I tried to explain to the manager our side of the story but he cut me off and did not let me tell my side of the story. He also told us that he was never allowed back at the store. We have been loyal ATT customer for 25 years and my wife's father worked for ATT his entire working life. Also, we have never been "kicked" out of anywhere ever. We always are polite never used bad language only raised voice out of frustration. I will never go back to this store and will be escalating this issue to ATT corporate as well. I stopped in to the AT&T store on Whitestone by 183 to get my son's screen protector replaced. Melissa took my information and then went in the back for a while. She came back out and told me that she couldn't replace it because the screen protector plan that I purchased didn't match the phone. She told me that the five screen protector plans that I purchased a year ago did not match any of our phones. I told her that I had already replaced mine at the Whitestone store and she told me that I had not. Around that time a man came over and joined the conversation. I explained that we had bought all five phones and the five screen protector plans on the same day and they looked at me like I was a complete moron. Absolutely no willingness to help or understand at all. They told me to go to the store that I bought them from two exits down and maybe they would help me. I explained to them that in their system it shows that I bought almost $5000 worth of phones on one day and then almost $250 worth of screen protectors at the same time and didn't common sense tell them that those screen protectors went with those phones? Jonathan looked at me straight faced and said 'no, he did not see that'. I asked to talk to the manager and Jonathon said that he was the manager. My mind was completely blown away by the absolute disregard to try and resolve what they were telling me was an issue with my plan even though I had not ever seen this issue within the last year. They refused to help me or even hear what I was saying. I went home and confirmed in my email that we did actually have the correct screen protector plans for our phones. I called corporate to double check what was in the stores system and had a conversation with a very helpful representative. I explained what happened and had her look up our plans in her system. She confirmed that we did indeed have the right plans for our phones and they should have replaced the screen protector at the store. She confirmed that I could go to any store and there was no need to return to the original store we purchased from. She apologized and escalated a complaint up to corporate and then also out to the store for refusing service. She then comped me for the screen protector that should have been put on our phone this afternoon. I have always had great customer service within the AT&T stores, but I definitely won't step foot in that store again. Appreciate my friends that work for AT&T and the gal at corporate that made up for the few that aren't very good at listening or having the willingness to help. read more

My family decided to switch to at&t and was never told about contract for trading iPhone 12 for 14 model. Now we have horrible service and stuck for 3 yrs with this shady business that is only for the sale and not customer satisfaction. I promise that if you are thinking of switching carriers I would ask the questions we should of asked about the free phone with trade in and what are the contacts. The sales people will not willing provide that info if not asked. The absolute worst business practice I've ever worked with. The Black Plague invaded my cell. Alright, so the smartcard died. Everyone kept trying to tell me, Smartcards don't go bad. So I tried the usual home remedies. Turn off phone, wait, and turn on. Nope! Remove smartcard and reseat it. Nope! Toss in commode, flush, when it floats back to top, retrieve and turn on. Nope! It wasn't until I explaimed the SC closer did I realize it had the Cingular name on it. Yes, I kept moving the SC to each new phone for a long time. So we rushed to the closest AT&T store to get a new Smartcard. As we walked in, we were greeted immediately and directed to an employee to assist us. It started off great. Yes, he can replace my Smartcard free of charge( Sorry, I forgot his name.). He took my cell and started to work on it. While waiting my eye caught the iPhone, and I thought this could be the perfect opportunity to really upgrade from my Dumb phone. So I told him, I changed my mind and want an iPhone. He was tickled pink to help me with a commission based upgrade. He was friendly and joking with me during the whole process. Then it came time for him to move my numbers and data to the new phone. That's when we waited, and waited, and waited. We eve left to store to buy cupcakes and came back. Still not ready. The final tally is we waited for an hour and a half. So what would have been a 4 star experience, dropped to 3 stars. read more

Went in to today to make changes to my account and to get a new iPhone. On entering multiple employees were standing around, finally a gentleman approached and asked if I needed help. Explained what I needed and he said Sona would help me out. Explained what was needed and was told they were not allowed to make any changes to my account. I would have to call in. Odd since at no time did she pull up the account. Went to next item-getting a new iPhone. She must be new since every time I asked something she disappeared in the back, I was told no iPhones in stock. NONE. Zip...ummm that is odd. When I commented on the service in Cedar Park and Leander she acknowledged upgrades had been made but they actually made service worse. Then she was done. No help in trying to order a new phone..just a try the store on Parmer. I started to leave but decided no I wanted to speak to the manager. I tried to explain to him what I needed but he really did not seem to care. Acted like I was bothering him. Told ne ATT did not let them do anything like this and not their problem. When I asked for his card, he had none. Asked for his name. He said he did not have to give me that or his bosses name. Wow been going to this store for over 10 years. Have bought phones and had changes made here before. Never more. Worst customer service ever. Really making T-Mobile or Verizon look tempting. We get it. Consistency in support and service is hard to attain, given a national customer base. We did receive your form letter today that we owe you money and we'll gladly pay our "E.T." (a.k.a. early term) fee of $227.40. To set the record straight: 1) You didn't cancel our account because it was unpaid - you promptly cancelled our account *while we were on the phone with you* complaining about *another* national service outage - specifically with your unreliable iPhone app. During our conversation we refused to pay for undelivered services by you. And you refused to issue any bill credit for your shortcoming, hence our breakup. 101 Lesson: Re-read this point if you don't understand a key reason why you lose customers. 2) 101 Lesson #2: When your customers are revoked account access, we are unable to revisit our bill history and details, any unpaid amounts, and we are left without any convenient ways to pay. You do want your money, riiiight?!? 3) While your letter indicates that our account is unsettled, we requested an invoice 2.5 months ago. Your letter just arrived yesterday, more than 10 days after it was printed. What timing! Ironically, you demand "immediate" payment. 101 Lesson #3: Prompt service should also be expected by those who manage your billings. Ironically, your letter contains no bill detail, including the days we are being overcharged for monitoring *AFTER* service was turned off. We asked about that and was told there was nothing AT&T could do to adjust a bill after it was issued. #ForReal? Another 101 Lesson: Most customers do not pay for undelivered services with zero bill detail... but to show we're decent, good sports we'll "promptly" issue you a check to show how eager we are to end this painful, one-sided relationship. You have other customers to tend to! 4) We chose to pay you via snail mail to avoid your "convenience fee" we were told you will levy for representative assisted payments. We totally get it. 101 Lesson: Why provide service to a *former* customer? You'll never win us back that way (snark implied)! And please note - We're also current customers of AT&T Mobile and U-Verse and we're wildly considering dropping these services as well, given you don't offer integrated billing numerous years after your baby bells were all merged back into the clumsy company you've arrived at today. On a related note, we weren't surprised to see your stock price has been falling dangerously close to a 1-year all-time low. Yikes! 5) While we appreciate the consistent Digital Life "rep speak" informing us that the Digital Life app is free and therefore no bill credits can be issued when there's a national outage; we do not like having to educate your customer relations staff why the marketing messages you have on your home page (e.g. "Digital Life offers a simple all-in-one app that lets you stay connected to home from almost anywhere.") do not align in any way with how your company treats customers. Another 101: What security providers market is convenience and peace of mind. And when your app does not work and your service staff parrots worthless replies, it is neither convenience or reliably comforting. Also please note: We could not connect to our home from "almost anywhere," including from within our home. Over several days. And your technical support department couldn't connect to our home, either. #Sad Luckily, our new security system - and especially the app - work like a charm! As we round the final curve of this twisty, turbulent relationship, we only hope one day soon a class-action lawsuit finds its way to your inbox. We find it amazing how a corporate giant can issue such shoddy service and charge for it. I was sold a cell phone 11 Pro and traded in my old iPhone last November. The phone was 1000 and they gave me a $900 credit. I would pay the hundred dollars left over a payment plan. Today I called and they said I cannot upgrade my phone because I owe the full amount of the phone. They said I would have to pay the whole entire phone off before I can upgrade when I should have only had less than $100 left owed. The salesman was misleading they're not willing to fix this problem and now I'm stuck with this phone. I don't like the sleazy salesman I figured AT&T would be different but I guess not they are just like dirty car salesman. I am never shopping there again I'm canceling my service. read more

We came in to get a "free phone upgrade" and adjust our cable setup and the manager lied and said you cant do a free upgrade but its $5 more a month. When I questioned the manager he kept lying until i showed him where it says free upgrade. At that point he told us that there was an early upgrade charge that he could take off. For a customer that has been with at&t for 10 year and pays over $600 a month i would expect to not be swindeled. Dishonesty and outright lyinv is not how any buisness should be ran. read more

The service here is reduciously slow! Signed in at 5pm, lots of employees working everyone was helping someone already. I waited and watched 4 employees finish and their customers leave, employee then heads to the back and does not come back out for 30+ minutes. Dont come to this location unless you have at least 2 hours to wait. Just needed a SIM card swapped out and it took over an hour. Horrible customer service. read more

Longevity is meaningless after many years too many to count my daughter decided to move on to Sprint ( she's an adult her decision) I called AT&T to drop her line and just keep mine after David repeated himself twice to ask if I'd like a watch or tablet he let me know that since my billing cycle had started a full 5 days ago I'd be responsible for another bill or risk being "pro rated" which could cause my bill to "go up or down " he had "no way of knowing " what did "I want to do" he repeated this about three times which annoyed me. I let him know I felt I was being screwed he didn't replied. What is VERY UPSETTING to me if I've had AT&T since they were Cingular and back again I also have had Directtv and now U-verse it's a slap in the face to have to pay an additional fee instead of the 5 days the phone was in service which by the way wasn't being used. FYI David reminded me "that ALL cell phone services do this it's not just "us" I'll be looking elsewhere after more than 12 years major disappointment!!!!!!! read more

Don't bother calling this store because they NEVER answer the phone. After a morning of phone calls I was forced to drive to the store yesterday to see if my phone was delivered and low and behold there was an ATT team member just standing by the door doing nothing but greeting people. ...And....They didn't have my item. ANSWER THE PHONE. Today, after calling a dozen times, I had to make another trip up there to see if my item was delivered. There was one customer in the entire place when I arrive and as I was being helped by a team member I called the store, while I was IN the store...and I could hear the phone ring and ring and ring. I brought this up to the team member and he gave me some BS about how they don't answer the phone when they are with a customer. There were at least three other team members in the store and I was the only customer there. Can you believe that? He gave me his card and told me to not ever call the store but to call or text a sales person direct, that's the only way to get through. What crap! ANSWER THE PHONE! read more
