This was my first visit to T Mobile. I have been using Verizon for the last fifteen years. I took…read moreboth of my iPhones and went to Verizon, they greeted me at the door, and said it would be a 45 minute wait. That reminded me that last year it was about the same situation, they realized they had a problem but the solution wasn't to correct the problem, but inform the customer on the degree of bad service. When I arrived at T Mobile I was greeted by a sales person rather than a door person. They were very knowledgeable/helpful I bought two iPhones 11's. After I checked out, I received a call from Verizon saying I could get in now, it was fun telling them too late! I stopped at T Mobile today, had a couple of questions about a couple app's and again experienced the same friendly customer service.

I canceled my service with Spectrum and returned my modem. I have USPS proof of return AND an email…read morefrom Spectrum confirming they received it. Despite already confirming receipt in writing, Spectrum continued to claim the equipment was not returned and refused to correct their records. Even worse, they refused to resolve the issue in writing, insisting on phone calls instead -- even though this is a simple correction on a closed account and already documented. I have now made four attempts to fix their error, provided all proof multiple times, and still have not received written confirmation that my account reflects a $0 balance. This should have been resolved immediately after they confirmed receipt. Instead, I had to file complaints with the BBB, FCC, and Ohio Attorney General. Because of this experience, I will not do business with Spectrum again. With 5G home internet providers and other alternatives widely available, there is no reason for customers to tolerate this kind of treatment. Completely unacceptable.

My brother and I shared a phone plan with this company. He was the account holder, as he had helped…read moreme to finance my phone. My daughter's phone was paid off and on the account as well. My brother upgraded his phone and decided to return it, it arrived late but was mailed well before the return by date, which was proven by the postage. He disconnected his line, and Spectrum then charged him the full amount for his phone despite knowing it was mailed back in time and the fact that it was delivered late was out of our hands. I attempted to put mine and my daughter's phones on my own account, I use Spectrum internet services, and was told I could not due to my brother's outstanding balance. Spectrum informed me that I essentially would need to pay the balance for my brother or pay off my phone which was $1,000 upfront to be able to maintain my daughter's and my own line. My brother's total debt is now $3,400 over this whole ordeal, as my phone was financed with his information. They will not let me return the phone or credit me for what I have already paid on it towards a new phone. I attempted to retrieve a pin from them so I could port my number out, they refused to give it to me even though I was an authorized user on the account and could provide all pertinent account information. They then refused to give it to my brother when he called to retrieve it due to his outstanding balance, which is illegal, confirmed by one of their own agents. They finally sent it to me in a text message. After I ported my number, they then refused to unlock my paid off iPhone 14 due to an outstanding smart watch balance of $136 that never reflected on my own Spectrum account, I was never billed for, and knew nothing about. They stated they had no idea why I wasn't billed for it, and one customer rep stated he did not see that I owed for the watch on the account at all. Overall, a horrible experience! Spectrum made no attempt to reach a resolution with either of us.

My other phone was paid for, I turned it in as asked for. When I got my bill, I was furious. Turns out I did have to buy the new iPhone Pro 16. If it sounds too good to be true it is. I think this was pretty shady.

I went to the Canton, Ohio Verizon store on 4926 Dressler Rd NW yesterday, April 29, 2025 at the…read moredirection of Verizon customer technical help after hours of online consultation. I am a long-time Verizon customer and have had little issues with Verizon until very recently after the purchase of a new phone at the 4926 Dressler Rd, Canton, Ohio store. For some reason, still unknown, Verizon locked me out of my "My Verizon" account and would not send verification texts or emails to me in order to enable me to get back into my account. Verizon online technical support told me to go to this Canton Verizon store and have them call Verizon technical support from the store and validate my identity. This is the only way Verizon technical support could help in this situation because Verizon's system would not send me texts or emails. Verizon technical support told me that authorized Verizon store employees would stay on the phone line with me in a three-way conversation to help with this identity problem. I was very surprised to find that after I explained this to the initial Verizon store employee, she was not interested in doing this at all. She just asked a few basic questions about notifications and texting and then told me I would have to call technical support for help. Another Verizon store employee came over and told the first employee to help someone else. I assume this employee was some kind of supervisor. I told him that I had been on the phone with Verizon technical support for hours and they referred me to this store who had authorized Verizon people that would call technical support and verify my identity. He told me that it sounded like I needed to call technical support! I once again told him that Verizon technical support told me to come to this store to validate who I am. He and the first employee absolutely did not want to spend time with me on this problem once they found out I was not buying anything I believe. The second employee finally agreed to call technical support and asked for my driver's license and phone which I gave to him. He called with my phone and after a short pause in which he supposedly spoke with technical help, he handed my phone back to me. Technical support was on the line. I went through the whole process of explaining the problem to technical support who once again told me that I would have to have Verizon store people verify my identity. I was amazed to hear this! Technical support told me they were not called by anyone at the store and that support could still not see my account because the employee just used my phone to call them just as I would! Nice dodge! I hung up and asked the store employee to call support again. He said he would and then did the same thing! This happened one more time before I gave up. Verizon store employees were definitely not going to stay online with support to verify my identity - even after they said they would. This is horrible service. I still cannot get into My Verizon account because the Verizon store employees are not interested in helping a non-buying, service problem customer. I have spent thousands of dollars with Verizon this year alone and have been a customer for many years. Beware - if you are not buying anything, employees at this Verizon store are just not interested in you. Also, both employees acted very arrogant and very put out that I was infringing on their important time.
