You may chose AT&T for your service which is fine, but do not expect this place to help you in anyway. I came in Saturday just looking to upgrade to the 13 what I got was treatment of being a nobody. There was a younger employee with a backwards hat that skipped me and went right to two women who came in after me. When I called him out on it, he just went speechless and went "uhuhuhuhuhuh." And older man than said he'll be with me soon. I waited 10 more minutes so I could tell him how unprofessional the employees are at this location, but no one ever helped me. If you're a young female expect prompt service, otherwise look elsewhere. I just wanted a new phone. Because of this experience, I ended up going to Verizon and changing plans. I have been to this store a few times in the past 10 years. I never have any issue, so I am a bit surprised to see its low rating. I just went to the store tonight to upgrade my old 3G cell phone as AT&T is shutting down its 3G network very soon. Before coming to this store, I did go to a different store to ask to a free phone to upgrade. Interestingly, that AT&T store employees told me that there's no free phone, but the employee at this store told me that there was a free phone giveaway as long as I made an appointment or call the call center to reserve one. Oh well, I just got a new phone, so I would have to pass. I wish the other store had told me that. I told the person who greeted me that I wanted to switch my old 3G phone to an iPhone SE (first generation). He said that iPhone SE first generation was in 3G network so it wouldn't work. I told him that from what I saw on AT&T website iPhone SE should be fine as any iPhone 6 or newer ones should be still good. He then insisted that iPhone SE first generation was released before iPhone 5, I was like no way iPhone SE was pretty much the same line with iPhone 6. He then did some research and found out that I was right. He apologized for his misunderstanding, which I accepted. Then he helped me switch the number from the old phone to the iPhone SE. He did it so quickly that I was impressed. After that he checked out the discount prices on some accessories for me as I am in my employer's AT&T program. I didn't find anything that I liked. He said it's okay, and he reminded me of telling them that I had the employee discount next time I come to get a good discount. Overall the service was great and I was helped in a timely manner. I don't have anything to complain. The only thing is that I hope AT&T staff could be more consistent. This is not just for this store, but also for other stores. I get different interpretations of the AT&T policy at different stores. Also, I hope they can get themselves more familiar with phone models etc. read more

I'm at Bellevue Square usually once per week, and I've swung into the AT&T store here about 5 times with quick questions about my account or my phone. The first 4 times I had a fabulous experience, and the staff members I spoke with were always able to answer my questions and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. This last time I went, I once again had a quick question, but the staff (an Asian gal who I think was mentioned in another review) was rude and wouldn't even listen to what my question was & just told me that I'd need to speak with a "technician" and that there were 18 people in line before me. The next day I was able to stop by the AT&T store at the Northgate Mall, and got my question answered in less than 5 minutes, no technician needed. If she had bothered to listen to my question, I'm sure she could have answered it. read more

I came in here looking for a phone charger for my car, and I was helped right away. I wish I remembered the name of the employee that helped me, as she deserves kudos for how great she was. She walked me straight over to the chargers and recommended a couple that would work with my type of cell phone. While ringing me up, she noticed another store I'd visited and asked me about the product I got, seeking my advice. Great service and for $40, I got an excellent charger. Note that this review is strictly commenting on my experience at the store, not on the phone service (which has been, overall, fine) or the administrative processes (which aren't the best, but are at least clear). I just finished talking to Richard, an associate, for an appointment I made at 1:30 pm. I had set up an appointment since I needed to make changes to my account and wasn't sure of some of the details. It was immediately clear that he had no interest in spending time to help address my questions. He gave a short two sentence answer and effectively blew me off. Since I wanted to understand some more details, I pressed him with some more questions. He was unable to clearly articulate the answer to my questions and became frustrated when I didn't understand him. Eventually, after I broke down what I was asking, I was able to confirm the right answer. In the future, I'll definitely avoid this place; I'd recommend the same to others. read more

This AT&T store is located on the first level inside Bellevue Square, adjacent to Macy's and across from Buckle. The easiest way to get there is to park in the multi - level lot south of the mall (the southeast corner to be exact) and walk in through the entrance in that se corner. You'll walk in right by Buckle. This AT&T store is always extremely busy. The employees greet you heartily when you walk through the door, and then you have to get on a list to wait your turn for any assistance. It reminds me a bit of Comcast (not a good thing). It's pretty small and gets crowded quickly. I am very glad that another AT&T store is opening up on the southeast corner of NE 8th St & Bellevue Way NE. I don't know if they're going to keep this one inside the mall open once the big one opens. read more

The grunt employees there are dumb as rocks, but that is likely mostly to the credit of the store manager, Tanairi (sp?), who serves as a reminder - indeed, an inspiration - to those who think there are people so lacking in awareness and common sense that they will never get a job. Extremely dissatisfied with their service. They were throwing around a football and playing loud music. After one hour in the store I left with a new SIM card. Come to find out that the SIM card didn't even work when I came home. I tried calling and they said oh well human error. Last December I got a new phone for both my brother and mom and they told me they wouldn't deactivate the old phones so we could keep it a surprise. Come to find out they did and I couldn't get in contact with them. Not only did they ruin the surprise but I couldn't get in contact with them. I was home for the holidays and decided to trade in my old iPhone for a new one before I left. While in the store, the employees seemed very enthusiastic and helpful. But in retrospect, I think they were just trying to shield the fact that they don't know what they're doing. I had to back-up my old iPhone on iCloud and they said that I could come back to the store later in the day when it was completed. I did what they told me to, and when I returned they said everything was good and that they were going to erase my old iPhone. Well, it turns out that the back-up was incomplete and I just ended up losing over 1,500 photos/videos, several important notes, etc. I actually cannot express how upset I am with this store. I called Apple and they indeed confirmed that the back-up was incomplete and my data is unretrievable. Basically, I don't understand why AT&T didn't at least check on the status of the back-up before erasing my phone. I feel like I shouldn't have to be so concerned about such a basic action. Nothing bothers me more than incompetence. And I am severely bothered right now. read more

Went to the AT&T store at B2 mostly because it was the most convenient during business hours. I have to have a job to afford their ridiculous prices. While I have no problem waiting in line, just like others before me, I have a huge problem with the lack of responsibility and accountability displayed by the management team at the store. It's ran poorly. There was a 10 person cue and 4 people "Working" a gentleman who was working his tail off, a lady by the name of Carol who was doing a decent job of helping and another woman who after helping a customer - disappeared with him up the escalator. Odd, I know. I thought maybe that was a new feature provided by AT&T. Buy a phone get a cute girl to take home. But I digress. And then there was the Assistant Manager. A gentleman who was checking people in, and texting. Which I am not sure which was more of a priority for him. While I was there I was able to meet a nice gentleman and we had a nice talk about the AT&T business model. We concluded that the new business model they follow is this: Open a store, hire two good employees, treat your customers like crap. And get the two workers to do all the work while the other people do who knows what? Upon being skipped by someone who wasn't in the cue, I asked for the phone number to the regional manager, I was given the store managers number. I asked for the name and the title of the person in charge and was told the texter, er, I mean the assistant manager that the number wasn't available. Which I proceeded to call BS. After waiting for 45 minutes, I finally got the number and when I was presented with the opportunity to talk to a rep. I brought up the issue with my phone and I was told "Oh, yeah that is a known issue. Wait two weeks to get an update." Mind you, this individual didn't take the time to look at my issue or even take the slightest interest in my issue. I then proceeded to tell the guy I had no problem waiting, save for the fact that my phone in its current state, was inoperable. I was then told I needed my receipt, which they had in the system but again, no interest from the people working there. I then proceeded to say thanks and left. It's unfortunate that the company that claims to care, to have a vested interest in their customer base - does such a poor job of treating their customers. I understand, things break, phones come damaged from the manufacturing plant. I am not the only one who has issues. But if you ask me to pay my bill on time, you ask me to provide free advertising to your company by having your logo branded on my phone and then treat me like my issue is not an issue. You will see this review come become more prevalent. I am sorry AT&T. But your service is poor, your strategy is flawed and you lost a customer who used to be loyal to your brand. This store gets things wrong all the time. One time I wanted to merge two lines onto one plan, and the representative told me that a third home wireless phone line had to also be added to get me the lowest monthly price, even though I repeatedly stated that I don't use a home phone. When bill time came, I confirmed that the line was unnecessary, and even took up an additional $10 a month. I took the receiver back to the store to return it after canceling the line. I never took the thing out of the box and they wanted a $30 restocking fee. Thankfully management decided they can credit me the fee. Just recently, my girlfriend went to get a new iPhone 5S. They pitched the NEXT plan to her and misled her through all the paperwork without properly explaining it. She never confirmed that she wanted to enroll and was told that "everything's fine so just sign the paper" when she asked why the price was so low. We weren't sure she was on NEXT until our next bill, which is after their 14 day return period. Absolutely despicable. read more

I never expected my experience in the Bellevue Square store to be so painful - the store employee got everything wrong. Back in Jan., when I decided to purchase my first iPhone(5S) and add my new number into an existing family plan, I clearly told the store employee that I want the same two-year contract with $299 for the phone as other existing members on the family plan. The store employee said he can give me a limited-time offer: I pay about $32 in total per month and there's also a $5 discount each month. For just $27-28 per month, I get the phone free with the same data plan and minutes as the two-year contract. Even my friend, an existing ATT customer who came to the store with me, was very surprised by the generous offer. He even asked if he could also switch to this limited-time offer. Then the store employee charged me around $71 for the tax and told me it's for the monthly service (phone minutes and data plan). He explained that's how ATT handled the new offer. When the first month's bill came, I found that he actually sold me a plan called ATT Next and the $71 tax was actually for the phone itself, not for the service. At the same time, my data plan was terminated and a message from ATT said that I didn't make any payment for the data plan. I was very surprised and had to make multiple phone calls with ATT. The tech support told me he made all the changes for me and I would pay the same money as other family plan members who all have the two-year contracts. After that I went back Asia for travel. When the second month's bill came, I found that the tech support only put me in the right data plan but he didn't change me to the two-year contract for the phone ($299). My wife called them and was told that I myself have to go back to the store to change the contract. I stayed in Asia for about 6 weeks and just arrived in the united states today. I went back to the store immediately. But they told me it's after the 14 day return period, and there's no way they would make the change. All the troubles started when the store employee provided misleading information to me about the contract type. He lied to me about the $71 tax. He lied about the so-called limited-time better deal. As a new customer, I can only trust ATT employee in setting the right contract for me. When he set everything wrong, how can I possibly know that within 14 days? I only found it out when the first month's bill came! read more

So, made an appointment to replace my phone. Number was at the top of the list and we were totally ignored by all service people. Some other couple walked in and received immediate service. When I interrupted and called attention to this, I was blown off. I was replacing my Note 7. The person that ultimately served us could not transfer the data with either Smart Switch or the AT&T app and they agreed to let me take the phone home and address data transfer through the phone, customer support. I had a board meeting the next night and we confirmed that my wife would return the phone the following night. My wife went into the Bel Square store and when her number came up, they called the 3rd person on the screen. When she told the service agent she was top on the list, he was rude and dismissive.. If you're buying a phone or have a minor issue, the service is fine, otherwise AT&T is a massive business that could not care less about you. I opened a second cell phone account about 10 years ago for a non-profit that I serve as the registered agent for on their 501c3. The bill, which went up to 10 lines over the years, was always paid on time through the non-profit's bank account. A couple of weeks ago i attempted to change the billing to the non-profit's name at the Bellevue Square, WA AT&T store. It took a week to work through the process and it was ALWAYS left to me to follow up on the progress. Eventually I was told that the non-profit would have to make a security deposit of $1,000 PER LINE to put the account in their name. After I protested that was changed to $500 per line. Someone at AT &T could have taken 5 minutes to determine that the non-profit had always paid the cell phone bill, but it seemed AT&T did not want our account. I walked around the corner to Verizon, where an account manager handled everything, including a free iphone, and inexpensive phones with financing for all other lines. All with no mention of security deposits on the lines. I will also be closing my personal account shortly, which I have had with AT&T for perhaps 20 years. read more

I have been an ATT customer for 20+ years and this review is not about the cellular service, it is about this store in particular. I visited to get a new phone and trade in an old phone. That was all I wanted to do. I didn't want any line changes. When ringing up the phone, she came back and told me that she had also added a line to my service (increased from 3 to 4 lines) because it would decrease my overall bill. She handed me a SIM card for the new line that she had already added. I didn't need a new line, but trusted she was telling me truth. She wasn't. It took about two months for the true increased cost to show up, but the added line (which was never used) increased my overall charges. After a lengthy call with ATT I was able to cancel the line and receive a small refund for the months of being overcharged. Do not trust what you are told in this store. It seems as if someone had a new line quota to meet and I was the victim. I appreciate that ATT, after my phone call, made it right by cancelling the new line and offering a refund. read more

I walked into the Bellevue Square AT&T around 6:30PM on May 16th, 2019 to simply purchase a phone case. They clearly had several customers who had been waiting a long time for assistance. I woman in an electric wheelchair came in and was quite insistent in getting help. There were several customers before her. I am not saying that this customer wasn't somewhat out of line, but the way the AT&T rep treated her was absolutely terrible. It was so uncomfortable and cringe-worthy the way in which he spoke to her. I completely understand a work environment in which you feel overwhelmed and understaffed, but this in no way should allow for a rep to speak to ANY customer in the way this gentleman spoke to this woman, who was clearly in some sort of anxious distress. I just have to say, you need more people working in your store or some sensitivity training - STAT! P.S. The wait to buy a phone case was 45 minutes, so I went somewhere else. read more

Carol directed me to the store in a clear concise manner though I'm sure she had better things to do. Because of getting lost, my already limited time crunch to the airport was shortened by even more time leaving me very little time to get the purchase I needed and still make my flight. I absolutely love this store! I have had Verizon as my cell phone provider for as long as I had a cell phone. I have a pretty busy schedule so it really is a hassle dealing with calling tech/customer support. After some time and headaches with Verizon and almost paying a leg and arm each month I was looking into switching to AT&T. I have had multiple people tell me that they were pretty satisfied with their service with them. The closet store to my residence is the Bellevue Square location. First of all I felt very comfortable as soon as I walked in! The employees immediately acknowledged and greeted me with such a positive attitudes, great energy! Even though everyone looked like they were helping other customers, they let me know that they will take care of me shortly and offered me a seat if I wanted to sit down. I am so glad I came to the store! On top of the staff being so welcoming they were knowledgeable about their products and plans. Typically I can feel when someone is trying to sell me something but I felt no obligation or pressure to get any services. I really did feel like they were trying to help me find a plan that best suites my lifestyle. Thanks to a promo that they were currently having, I walked away with not only a new plan and phone but also cable! I was paying too much for my current cable provider but now I pay half the price with their direct tv package. I am so content and I rarely write reviews but this was such a good experience and I am now saving over $80 a month because of their services. Plus it was fun going to their store! I defiantly will be making this my go to store for upgrades and more products! read more

I stepped into AT&T store for the first time, as I had been on T-Mo so far and hadn't heard great things about the store. To my surprise, I was greeted by the cheerful staff. Karla was amazing and helped my family find the best deal, and the phones that we were looking for. She looked for different options and explained everything so well that we had no reasons to not shift to AT&T. Looking forward for the same experiences at the store in future.
