AT&T is perfectly okay with their reps lying to get that contract. We were promised a lower bill and a free phone with our trade ins. We have messages of the interaction. Not only was our bill astronomically higher than what was promised, we were made to pay for the phone. They went back on every thing even with proof. They don't care about lying, scamming and stealing as long as they're getting that contract. On top of all of that, we are paying hundreds of dollars for horrible service! All that money for phones that barely work! The absolute worst service I have ever had with any provider. I wish I would have read the reviews because obviously this is an ongoing issue. I honestly don't know how they get away with this but hopefully they won't much longer. read more

AT&T had a representative in the Audubon Walmart on 11/20/24 that burned me for a major bait and switch. His name was supposedly Nick and I was told my plan was eligible for 3 free phone upgrades and if I added another line my plan would go down and I would receive another free phone. All I had to do was pay the sales tax. When my bill came in and it doubled I went into their store right outside of the Audubon Walmart and they couldn't undo what this unscrupulous representative did. When I called the customer service number and spent over two hours on the phone I felt like I did get some satisfaction but when I called back about a week later the phone representative didn't see anything about credits on my account. Now I am stuck paying for 4 new phones and 2 new lines for 3 years. Really nice thing to do to a loyal customer for over 20 years and now retired on a fixed income. I know what I will be doing in 3 years, running from the corporate greed that exists with the THEIVES AT AT&T. By the way I had to give at least one star to post but they don't even deserve that. read more

We are long time AT&T customers. We recently paid off the phones and decided to upgrade the watches. We met Matt at the store and told him we were interested in upgrading our watches. He showed us the version 8 watches and we discussed the capabilities. We were told about the data capabilities and offered an insurance plan. We we're very clear we didn't want either. Left the store with 2 watches and we were please with the watches and the over all experience. Until we received the bill. Turns out you can't get the iwatch from the AT&T store without a data plan. Matt did not explain this. IWatches come with a service plan that can be refused. But even after telling Matt we weren't interested he not only added service for the iWatches he added an all device plan. But not to worry... you can return the watches. Unfortunately the opportunity to return them is only 14 days. My billing cycle is monthly so I didn't know we were deceived until it was too late. So here we are. AT&T says there is nothing they can do and I should go back to the store. Matt isn't there. Turns out he's a sub from the Somerdale store. Gill at Audubon was very sorry about Matt's behavior but said there was nothing he could do. He did offer to call the manager. He did. And the manager, Anthony, is also very sorry about our experience with Matt but there is nothing he can do. So... avoid this store. They really don't care what their employees do. And if you don't want the ability to talk into your watch like a phone just get your watch from Apple or Target. read more

A big giant thumbs up to Car-Tel ~~~ I had a problem with a car charger and couldn't have been more frustrated. I called the store manager, Patty, and explained my problem ~~ between waiting in line at a local pharmacy with a credit card machine down, 3 impatient thirteen year olds anxiously awaiting getting to the beach and a broken car charger, patty totally kept her cool on the phone with me. She asked me to stop in and absolutely fixed the issue! She went above and beyond. I must also mention Jeff, who had some great suggestions to extend the life of this product and even suggested a product that I plan on buying next month, not to mention he was super friendly! This store has now become the AT&T store that I will go to from this point forward solely because of Patty & Jeff! read more

Do not go to this store. I signed up with at&t for their unlimited data plan, and can't tell you how much I regret it. The salesperson lied to me when he sold me an iPad on the pretext that I would be able to tether it to my phone. AT&T had no unlimited plan at that time that offered tethering. The day after I signed up, they completely cut my phone off. The only number I could call was customer service, where I spent an agonizing 40 minutes in a conference call with at&t and my last provider. With a work discount, all activation fees are waived. When my first bum came in, there were 4 activation fees. When I called to find out why I couldn't tether my iPad, customer service told me they'll tell you anything in the stores to make a sale. They finally changed my plan so that I could tether my iPad, but didn't tell me they'd jack the price up. I've been on an AT&T plan for three weeks. I've spent 3 hours over 5 customer service calls, and have been back to the store twice to have them fix my plan and credit my bill. Terrible customer service. read more

SUBMITTING THIS ON ALL SOCIAL PLATFORMS AND TO BBB. Went to Audubon, NJ location to get a new iPhone, I was coincidentally due for an upgrade. I figured why not utilize my upgrade and purchase the iWatch. From the beginning of the process, I felt as if the products being pushed on me were because the salesman is incentivized to push certain promotions (I have been in sales for 15 years) I know it when I see it. However I am not a cell phone or cellular carrier expert and the guy was nice enough and built enough of a rapport with me that I began to trust him. My mistake. What was said to me: 1.) I could upgrade from the iPhone 7 to iPhone X for only $5 additional dollars p/month, as long as I got the 64G phone. What was NOT said to me: In order to do this I had to add a third cell line, Which he went ahead and did without disclosing it to me.Told me a "phantom line" will be on there because of the iWatch .2.) I was prepared to purchase the iWatch outright that day. Salesmen told me that I couldn't do that because I would lose discounts, but reassured me that I can pay for it after "1-2 billing cycles to ensure I got the promotional discounts". What was NOT said to me: He signed me up for a 30 month finance plan on the iWatch ... which after speaking with AT&T customer service can NOT be reversed or paid off early... 3.) Salesman told me that I could not purchase the iWatch (which I believed was used as an extension to my iPhone) unless I had a data plan (additional $10 p/ month) - I asked him if that was just because It was the iWatch Gen 5, he said No ALL iWatches. I asked Him if that was because I am at an AT&T retailer and not an Apple store, he said No, regardless where it is purchased, I would HAVE to have a data plan with it. (Again, didn't make sense, but I am not a cell phone expert nor a cellular provider expert) After speaking with AT&T customer service as well as many friends - that Was yet ANOTHER lie. I could have gone right to the Apple store and purchased the watch outright and with NO data plan... I was in the AT&T Audubon location for 2 + hours... I asked the salesman on many many occasions what my bill will look like after the transactions... he reassured me and I asked him to write down, pen to paper itemized additions what I would be looking at. My bill was at $173 going in to The store. he said it would be an additional $15-$20 at the MOST. $5 for the iPhone X (w/ upgrade) and $10-$15.00 for the data plan on the iWatch with taxes. bringing my new bill to $193.00 TOTAL... Great - signed the paper and I was on my way. I could not wait any longer, the process was taking forever. After getting home - I had my wife call my phone and I noticed my phone number was different (I have had the same # for close to 15 years, so this was a big deal to me) We went back the next day and the salesman reassured me that we just had to switch over the sim cards - so he did it and it worked. 4.) He also asked me to trade in my old iPhone and he could "get me some money back" - So we traded it in and we received a $50 credit. he told us We could NOT put it towards our monthly bill as a credit, nor could we take cash from them??? so We asked what could we do to utilize the credit - he brought us to the cases and chargers and said you could use it on these. .. again trusting his word, we purchased a case for my new iPhone and as well as a fast wireless charger (this is what we used the credit for) for my wife's phone... after this whole ordeal I was having serious buyers remorse because I simply didn't trust the process or the salesman. So I returned the iWatch on day 14. was reassured it would be removed from my bill. A WEEK LATER I CHECKED MY BILL AND IT WAS AT $363.00 !!!!!! I don't know if this was the salesman doing or not, as he did provide me with a receipt when I returned the watch, but It never came off my bill... I decided to call AT&T CUST SERV and review everything that was said to me step by step and then to review my current bill. I was apologized to time and time again for being deceived and because so much false information was given to me (STRAIGHT FROM AT&T CORPORATE EMPLOYEES MOUTH) ... turns out the closest she could get me back to my original bill was to be at $198.00, after removing the 30 month finance charge for the iWatch and the additional data plan, but she could not do anything with the third additional line that was added to my account without my consent or knowledge. I was forced to change my grandfathered unlimited plan to a 3 line family "starter plan" in order to get my bill close to what it was. Also, for what it is worth, I did some digging and it seems that this location has been called out for writing fake online reviews for themselves, by themselves. I WOULD WARN EVERYONE ABOUT THE EVERTON DRAKE (MY SALESMAN) AND THE DECEPTIVE AND MANIPULATIVE SALES TACTICS THAT ARE CARRIED OUT AT THE AUDOBON LOCATION. read more

BUY IT HERE------That should be enough said, but let me enlighten you a bit. The iPhone update crushed my belief in the phone I had so long stood by. So I went into this store not knowing too much about the other smart phones on the market. With the help of Jeff Duffy, I found the perfect phone to meet all of my expectations which were, email-easy texting, and a great camera. The LG2 is the bomb. It has ALL THAT AND MUCH MUCH MORE. When I went in to pick it up I was a bit nervous about my purchase, but Jeff was more than patient with me and answered all my questions. He is very personable, a book of knowledge, and put me at ease the minute I walked in.
