This brewery is located in downtown Anaheim and this place is awesome. Their beers are delicious and the bartender Nelson is friendly. We will be returning here

The Gray Phantom: A brown ale with 7% ABV hit the spot. Nice balance of roasted malt and a slight caramel sweetness, without feeling heavy. It had a smooth finish and is a safe try for first-timers. I doubt I'd get the same thing twice though. Service: No issues from my POV. I ordered a beer and I got it in under 30 seconds. The prices were decent, and the guy was nice. Ambiance: Located in a quiet spot in town, the brewery definitely stuck to its namesake by giving it a relatively concerning prison-like feel from the outside, while maintaining an eerie red hue on the inside. The place seats about 30 people. One side has a more active segment, where you have an arcade, and the other side is a more traditional bar. I believe there is also a spot that sells food outside the bar, but I could've just been seeing things.

The vibe is a vampiric red lit little dungeon, at night. And I'm all in . Anaheim is one of the most competitive beer scene cities in Southern California and it's safe to say that Asylum Brewing, definitely hangs with the best of them. If you want beer, they're punchy hazy. IPA beers , as well as their light beers. Decent stout, except for their curry stout. But their beer cocktails are out of this world. And if you're looking to get an extra bite on your beer, you can accompany it with their house, tequila and sake. Service was fantastic. I'd circulate and stop by this location if I was looking for anyone else. Oh they also have pinball machines. Truly a great find.

Finally made it out to this brewery for their vegan food fair, and I'm so glad I did! I've been wanting to check out the new location since I used to go to their previous one--and wow, it's a completely different vibe. I loved their old spot. It was dark and moody, which made sense for a place called Asylum Brewery. It had that edgy, underground feel. The new location? Total opposite--and I love it just as much! It's bright, open, and even family-friendly with video games, comfy sofas, and awesome artwork throughout. Despite the change in atmosphere, one thing stayed the same: top-notch beer. Plus, there's plenty of street parking which is always a win. Can't wait to come back!

My friends and I went here to celebrate his birthday. It's a chill place with a brewery and games for entertainment. They don't sell food but they have outside vendors. Service was quick. Beer selection was limited but enough. Moscow mule was tasty.

Asylum Brewing beer tender Mayra . Please stop and stay hello to the most friendliest beer tender.

Come and enjoy some of Anaheims favorite beers from the asylum Brewery. Friendly staff very welcoming. kid and pet friendly. Free WiFi , hours vary depending on the day. They also have a great selection of beers to go . The atmosphere is great. Pinball games are available to enjoy while enjoying your beverage. Hot dogs available with a full pour while supplies last. Come and enjoy . They also have 3 big screens TV to watch sports. Hope my review will bring you out and have a great time with friends or just to have a simple beer with you hotdog.

Cool spot with good beer. Our beer passport brought us here. It's close to where we live so will definitely come back. However, that being said we came in a Friday night and there's no food :( so we're just having our one beer and then will be leaving. Hubby and I came with the kids and PSA to other families, this one isn't the most family friendly. We're cool with the decor (we all love it) but the problem is not a lot of kid friendly seating. Plus it's a small space and it's our first time here so we didn't realize there isn't anywhere for the kids to run around. That doesn't knock anything off my rating but just an FYI for the other families that like to bring their kids to the brewery as well :) that being said, I'll still be back! But will have to make it an adults only spot for us and will make sure to check if food is being served the night we're coming since so we can plan accordingly! Would still recommend, great beer, good vibes, and seems like a fun spot.

Asylum brewery is a few steps away from Anaheim Packing House. Well more like a block next to the park. So in my opinion this place had some of the best service in the area. A small brewery but the Aslyum theme definitely carries out into the beers. A number of pinball machines for you to play. The staff here was great especially as I did not know what I want. Being a light beer drinker in a craft brewery has its fair share of difficulties however the bartender offered samples and guided me through. They recommended a Dark Lager which was Amazing! This southern Germanic style beer was delicious and was so nice to find out here. The customers were great as there was a raffle going on and it felt like the local community was included. Met a few furry friends along the way as well. In regard to the beer itself, some of the best I have had in this area surrounding the Packing House. The names themselves are clever if you take a look at the menu photos provided. Flights are available on the menu. This is nice as a lot of breweries in the OC don't even offer this option. The red lighting definitely ads a unique touch to this small space. No kitchen but they have food vendors outside that are always available for your hunger cravings.

Canned beer is good. Service is fun and nice. I like how they have pinball machines. Unique brewery. Horror ambiance.

Pretty cool spot. Wish it was a little bigger just cause there's pretty cool decor and games haha. Staff was very nice.

Now they've got some really fun stuff going on here. There's this family of food trucks that lives in the lot, and they're serving up some scrumptious snacks...well not even just snacks. They're serving up whole meals from these trucks. In fact, one reddit user says that this might be some of the best pizza in all of Orange County! So, to get going, we ordered a double smash burger, the duck fat poutine, the JP Aloha pizza, and a caesar. Y'all, they have far more options for you to try too, but these are all we could muster with the 3 stomachs we had. Yeah, that's right, shoutout to Jess for joining us this time! You've got an ooey gooey burger with some special sauce, pickles, and some beefy patties! MMm, it's great! And it comes in this cute sleeve! Check out the salad too, it's super well-dressed, crispy, and those fried capers really give it a briny pop! The fries ain't no slouch either! Duck fat's delicious, and bacon, cheese, and gravy? I mean come on! But we gotta address the pizza in the room. This thing is thin crust, cheesy, umami, spicy, and all the ee's to describe something delicious. You GOTTA get some hot honey and ranch to enjoy it with, because you KNOW it's gonna improve your experience. Sometimes the reddit hivemind really does know what's up! Unfortunately, the inside of the Tiki Bar was closed for repairs/upgrades, but we ate on their very pleasant outdoor patio, and luckily, the weather was lovely. I'm not that into Hawaiian type food, no offense to Hawaiians whatsoever, so I found the menu to be a bit limiting. Since I just had a poke bowl the prior night, I didn't want another, even though it was probably what I would've ordered. Most other dishes were with pork, which I don't eat. Instead, I ordered chicken tenders, which is so NOT what I would EVER order, but I did on this day. The chicken was not overly greasy, and it had good flavor. The fries were even better. The poke bowl looked gorgeous, and the 3 others who got that said it was delicious, although not nearly as much salmon as they were hoping for... and it had way too much rice. (Those of us who had poke bowls from the previous night had loads of ahi tuna and the perfect amount of rice.) My husband enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger, something I'd never get. Not a fan of bacon AT ALL. My grandchildren got the chicken tenders like their grandma. :-) We ate our food to being serenaded with live music on the patio. Nice touch. I think most people come here to drink cocktails, although we didn't since we were about to make a long trek home up the I-5. I probably won't eat here again when/if we stay at this hotel, but it served its purpose when we needed it.
