Crab Rangoon Kushiyaki Platter (5 skewers) Asuka Bun 2PCS
Nick S.

Asuka Ramen is a must try!! There are so many fantastic dishes; from ramen and hibachi, to skewers, steamed buns, and crab rangoon! They have an awesome drink selection too with tasty cocktails and plenty of boba tea flavors! Some of my favorites were the crispy and generously filled crab Rangoon with sweet chili sauce, the chicken with scallion & yakitori sauce and beef with wasabi skewers, and the Gyu Don! The Gyu Don had a ton of thin marinated beef strips, sautéed onions, a sweet and savory sauce with fluffy rice, pickled ginger and a poached egg on top; it was spectacular! To drink, I had the Blue Marg and Sake Grapefruit cocktails, and both were incredibly tasty and refreshing! The service was excellent, the atmosphere is very inviting, and the company was great

Spicy Miso Ramen (top) Spicy Tonkotsu (bottom) This place has a good bowl of ramen! overall I'd say the spicy miso was my favorite, but they're both delicious. They charged extra to substitute for mediocre tofu which was a bummer but whatever. I'd say order an extra egg or 2 instead of tofu. The restaurant is cute on the inside. They have to-go bowls which was helpful because the portions are big! The spicy-ness level is great. Not too spicy but a good kick. Very good ramen. Better tofu would make this ramen perfect. 4.5 stars overall.

I was in Dublin and wanted to try something new. I highly recommend this place. I purchased the Hibachi chicken, shrimp and Steak lunch it was very good. The Salt and Pepper wings were very delicious I would go back for just for them. I also ordered Classic Tonkotsu Ramen bowl is was good. Asuka is in a plaza so there is plenty of parking and they have plenty of seating. Also, there is a bar and they also have milk teas. The restaurant is very nice looking and the staff is nice.

I was a lucky recipient of their huge gift card giveaways this past year, and my fiance and I went for a little date night! We aren't too good with chopsticks but I was managing pretty well, and our waitress just silently slid my fiance a fork, it was hilarious. Then later she brought new chopsticks and one of the plastic holders that she gave the kids next to us. Overall, the ramen was absolutely delicious and the broth was super flavorful. I got a brown sugar boba milk and my fiance got some hot tea and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! I still have a bit left on my gift card so we will try something new next time. I highly recommend this place, but don't get embarassed if you aren't good with chopsticks!

Popped in for resturaunt week. Everything we ordered was delicious and came out fast. The appetizers were the tables favorites. The steak in the hibachi was cooked perfectly and the ramen was full of flavor. The resturaunt is small and only two people were working- 1 cook and 1 server, so it was tough to get drink refills. But the individual working the dining room was wonderful and friendly and doing her best as it started to get busier in the afternoon. Will definitely be back! Satisfies the hibachi craving without the show!

Asuka have a couple new menu items since I last been here. But first, have to get my Takoyaki and gladly to share with my fellow foodies. I got to have a taste of the Tako Wasabi, which is the raw marinated octopus with wasabi. It serve with the nori seaweed on the side, but honestly, it maybe best to pair it with some steam rice My entrée I got their new Deluxe Seafood Ramen and you get to choose either the clear shio broth or creamy miso broth. I chose the creamy miso broth and it is so good. And love the presentation of varies seafood laying on top of the ramen.

The service was quick and very polite. Nice job! The food was soooooooo tasty. I ordered the spicy ramen #7, and it was tasty and actually had a great spice to it! The rice was filling and also had a great flavor. Big clean restaurant! Plenty of room for groups!

Came in for the first time during restaurant week and will surely be back! I think they're serving the best ramen bowls in Columbus. Food was flavorful, hot, and portions were great! Prices were very fair and competitive compared to the other places in town, especially considering the quality you're receiving. Service was fast, attentive, and welcoming. Ube cheesecake was a miss but the ramen and geso karaage were so good I didn't mind at all. Highly recommend and excited to go back.

Monster Fries

I ordered online then came for pickup. Not busy at all for lunch. This place is pretty new so I'm not sure if a lot of people know about it yet. I went with the Tonkotsu ramen and the monster fries (mayo, minced pork, cheese, green onions). The fries themselves were just okay. Maybe it would've been crunchy if i had dined in. But the star of the show was the minced pork! So flavorful and well seasoned! It made the monster fries extra tasty. the fries were a generous amount though. Took me a couple days to eat it. The ramen was decent. Not as rich as I was expecting. It also wasn't that salty which was nice. Just not the best ramen I've had in town.

Asuka Ramen is the newest ramen restaurant in Columbus. Our first impression was seeing an energetic young man standing outside in front of their holiday menu (which starts at four o'clock). It looked inviting, with an offer of 40% off three of the ramen bowls. Rats! We came at two o'clock. That just means we will need to come again, right? The staff was welcoming, and the interior was inviting, with plenty of decor to look at. Their menu offers ramen (of course), mazemen (brothless ramen), hibachi, and rice. Their on-site broth options are delicious creamy pork, clear chicken, and vegetable with miso paste. We chose the Crab Rangoon for an appetizer. My husband chose the Spicy Miso Ramen, made with marinated egg, pork chasu, corn, bamboo shoots, kikurage mushrooms, and green onions. I chose the Asika Fried Rice with chicken as my protein. The Crab Rangoon was served in the most adorable dishes. I love Asian dishes! There were only five pieces, and I wish I could have had more. My husband's Ramen was spicy, too spicy for me, but just right for him. My fried rice was plentiful, and I had plenty for another meal. As for extra condiments, there was a spicy sesame oil and another spice bottle on the table. Since we were the only ones in the place, we had a wonderful chat with our server, and we even got to meet her husband, the cook. We will definitely be back.

I tried Asuka Ramen in November 2023 with my husband for the first time. I definitely recommend the lunch time as the menu prices are more affordable than the dinner menu prices. My husband and I both ordered the steak and chicken hibachi to go. Both meals were great and super filing for lunch time. For $12-$15 you get the full hibachi rice, meat, veggies plus a side salad. I am happy my husband convinced me to try a fairly new restaurant in town. Prices are great for lunch as I mentioned before and we haven't been for dinner but assume it's a just higher price. Will definitely be back more often for lunch!!

My friend and I visited Asuka Ramen before going to the Wildlights at the zoo. The restaurant is in a large shopping plaza with ample parking. The restaurant was not busy when we visited. We were greeted upon entry and seated at one of the tables. We started our order with a Gyoza appetizer. The dumpling coating and filling were delicious. For my main order I went with the Chicken Karaage Ramen. The fried chicken was brought out on a separate plate. The chicken was crispy and packed with flavor. The ramen broth and ingredients also tasted great. This was one of the best ramen dishes I tried. Overall the food was great and I will visit again when I am in the area.

Pros: Good location with easy parking Fast, friendly service Good amount of seating and there's a bar area too with a TV Decent amount of variety on the menu Cons: The ramen noodles were the straight version and had little flavor; made soup starchy too Pork belly had weird smokey flavor I wasn't fond of No tempura option as an add on Tonkotsu broth was just average for me; nothing special Pro tip: I applaud the effort to keep an Asian restaurant in this space. It is definitely worth a try. I'll try a non soup dish the next time.

Chicken and pork gyozu, #8 pork chasu ramen, and green tea.

We spent $230 (w/ tip) and it was worth every penny. Probably the best Japanese restaurant in the city. We passed by this place multiple times on our way elsewhere. We're Mario fans, so the name Yoshi caught our eye, but the cramped strip mall exterior doesn't exactly scream culinary dream. We decided to take a chance, and let me just say--wow. It's an intimate space with just a few tables and an 8-10 seat sushi bar. We didn't have reservations (make one, they fill up fast) but managed to snag seats at the bar. The service immediately stood out. We had better attention here than at some upscale steakhouses--glasses never went empty, and their menu suggestions were spot on. One minor heads-up: at the sushi bar, staff sometimes walk behind you to talk to the chefs, which can be a bit distracting. For starters, we grabbed the gyoza and asked for a standout small plate. They pointed us to the beef tongue. It arrived hot with shredded onions and spicy mustard, delivering a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth tenderness with a deep, beefy richness. The gyoza was equally flawless. Instead of the overly chewy or burnt wrappers you find at most spots, these had a delicate, golden-brown sear with an intensely savory, garlicky umami filling. We paired this with Sayuri sake, a creamy, unfiltered pour that perfectly balanced sweetness with a dry, clean finish. Since we love nigiri, we ordered a spread: tuna, salmon, smoked salmon, sweet shrimp, and Japanese scallop, plus a salmon/avocado roll. The cuts were impeccably sourced and practically dissolved on the tongue. You rarely find this level of consistency. Just a heads up--they prepare it the traditional way, meaning there is a dab of wasabi tucked directly under the fish. We also tried the Wagyu A-5 roll. It's about as "meat and potatoes" as a roll can get: steak, carrots, asparagus, and rice. The seared Wagyu fat melted instantly, creating a decadent, buttery glaze over the crisp vegetables. It's one of those rare foods that genuinely forces you to pause after each bite. At $40, it was 100% worth it. I can't say enough about this experience. Next time, we're leveling up to the fatty tuna and Wagyu experience on their special menu. That's the exact culinary peak we've been looking for, and incredibly, it's tucked inside a suburban strip mall. Absolutely brilliant.

They were not a consistent bright pink, looked like the salmon was old. The imitation crab on the Ohio roll was very low quality and did not taste good. Other people praise the sushi burrito so I got that. They make it right there in front of you, and you can choose the sushi (or beef.) I got tuna, and it was actually very fresh, buttery, with a nice flavor. And, that plus rice and your choice of veggies forms up into a hefty, tasty burrito. I also got an Ohio roll, crab and cream cheese, etc., which they have prepackaged along with other things that look like the sushi you could get it a grocery store. It was also pretty good, and, surprisingly, reasonably priced. And a beef bowl, again made in front of you, with whatever sauce and veggies you want. Again, tasty, filling, possibly even healthy. Don't worry, I didn't eat it all at once. I had a little before work, and then the rest for lunch and breaks at work. Good quality, good flavor, decent prices, friendly service, and convenient. And even maybe fairly healthy. I'm sold.
