Yet, he needed help remembering the transaction when it came time to provide the services paid for. Furthermore, Moises attempted to upsell me additional services that would cost 800 dollars. I am glad I sent a text message to M&B Landscaping in December 2023, memorializing why I wrote a check to the company.

To be fair, there were some really rainy days, but an inspector had to come out to our house 4 times. In the beginning, the communication was severely lacking. We ended up having to call them almost daily to get a progress report. Our front yard was torn up for SO long, it made us seem like the messy neighbors! And we didn't have any explanation as to why unless we contacted them!! Towards the end, they were MUCH better at communication, probably because we become the thorn in their side, calling each day. At the end of the project, I hoped they would give us some sort of discount for grossly underestimating the time it would take, but alas, they did not. They chose to argue with me which left me with a bad taste in my mouth instead of giving us a little bit of monetary compensation, which would have made things feel A LOT better than they did. We recently had a tornado come through our area that destroyed several large trees. The roots of…read moreour next door neighbor's huge cottonwood tree were pulled up out of the ground, making the tree unstable and a danger to several houses including our own. It was determined that the tree had to be cut down and removed by a crane. The only way to access the tree was by removing some wooden fences and bringing the crane in through our back yard. Hector explained the process and assured us that everything would be put back in order after the work was completed. On the scheduled day, Hector and his team arrived right on time and began work immediately. It was a very difficult tree removal and they executed it masterfully. We were amazed as we watched them methodically take the tree apart with almost surgical precision. When they finished with the tree, they cleaned up the debris and carefully replaced the fences with new posts which were securely cemented into the ground. In addition, they removed some old wood and a large pile of dirt and compost that we had been trying to get rid of for quite some time. Throughout the process, Hector and his crew communicated well with us and were very responsive to our requests and concerns. It's sad that people don't have common curtesy. I landscaped with My Uncle when I was a teen. I had over 250 residential, and 6 corporate buildings. If someone walked by and asked Us / Me to turn off Our machines, because of "whatever", We would. We would smile and probably engage in conversation; not be belligerent to the community Tour supposed to serve.

He came out the next day, gave us a very fair quote and said he'd be back within 2 weeks to do the work. He then called 3 days later and said he had an opening in the schedule if we wanted our project done sooner. We were thrilled. They came out and completed the work in 2 days. Not only did they do an amazing job, but they actually cleaned up all of the mess that our previous landscaper left in our garage. I was floored by their level of service, responsiveness and professionalism. One of the other projects we had them do was to re-sod our front yard. They did the work right before 4th of July and we went out fo town for a day or two, which meant the fresh sod didnt get watered for 2 days and dried out. I contacted Freddy today to see how much he would charge to fix it and he volunteered to replace the dying sod at no charge. The mistake was ours, not his, but its this level of above and beyond service that makes me want to refer them to everyone I know. Dont hesitate....call these guys!!
