Didn't want to waste anyone's time so I didn't but then had to wait in line again. I could see available staff but had to wait while the person ahead of me scheduled Geek Squad which took forever. Not the most efficient system. After waiting, told they didn't have any TV's in the size I wanted and they hadn't had a shipment in months. Not their fault but could have posted it somewhere

We did that and went to the store at the appointment time. After being at the store for an hour the Geek Squad member told us that they can't help us with the Geek Squad Protection plan. From there they told us to go online and call a number. We then went back home and called the number. Only to have them try to set us up with an in-store Geek Squad appointment. We explained to them we already did that and the Geek Squad member told us to call the online number. Then the call center proceeded to hang up. We called back, asked for a manager, after more time on hold they hung up on us. So then we called the store, only to find out calling the store just sends you to the call center. Their answer for getting ahold of someone in the store???? Just keep calling the store until it doesn't send you to the call center. What a terrible way to treat your customer. First you waste our time in store, then you waste our time with a call center. There isn't even an option to allow me to just wait for the store team to not be busy. Completely unacceptable way to treat your customer. This holiday season I will be skipping best buy and I suggest you do to.

Most of the people working there are knowledgeable and helpful. I am not sure that Best Buy is still an accurate name for the store. The prices have risen significantly.

Good evening, Michael,       In my email, I am complaining about poor customer service and feeling uncomfortable while shopping at your Orange, CT location on December 22, 2022. While I fully understand retail theft/fraud exists, and we must watch out for suspicious patrons, employees, and/or contractors at all times. However, it's inappropriate and unacceptable for staff to continuously observe visitors in any form without providing high-quality customer service, such as asking if assistance is needed or alerting the visitor that staff members will remain nearby at all times in the event assistance is needed.       During this particular visit, not only was I followed, but I was also monitored and felt silently harassed. As I arrived, I headed straight to the Amazon display to purchase additional Echo Dots. Due to the multiple choices, I became increasingly indecisive about which product to purchase. As I looked around, I witnessed your employee, "Andrew" observing my area and acknowledging my indecisiveness. However, an offer of help never arrived. Shortly after, I witnessed Andrew speaking to additional staffers and their attention was immediately focused on me. Still, no help was offered. As I walked back-and-forth from each side of the display shelf, two staffers walked through my area and never offered any assistance, yet it was apparent to me that I was under their constant supervision. At this point, I realized that I was being suspected of trying to commit fraud. Needless to say, I would never do such. Other shoppers were reviewing the same products in the meantime, so I accepted their knowledge in order to make my final decision.       In fact, I have been a Best Buy credit card holder for 15+ years with Orange being my primary shopping location for the past 3.5 years. In those years, I have never felt the way I feel today. I trust this is not the way Best Buy wishes to conduct business with valued customers. I have been shopping at Best Buy for more than 20 years and have never encountered such treatment before including profiling. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss matters further and to learn how you propose to prevent a similar situation from recurring. I look forward to hearing from you. Yours faithfully, Javon Byrd

We have all come to realize that even though a product shows availability in the Target APP…read moresometimes it is not available as advertised because of a variety of reasons such as theft or poor inventory control. But that this is of little consolation to a person who is making a medical purchase. Specifically, dry eye eye drops. I was looking for a product that was selling for $26.49 but that the product was unavailable and the next equivalent product was selling for $29.99, $3.50 higher; the lower priced products had chemical preservatives which I am sensitive to. I went to the customer service desk seeking a small discount and I was denied any discount consideration. This was not the courtesy I expected at the customer service desk. I left feeling not just exactly right about the whole experience. No compassion, no courtesy.

Y'see, if there was some reason (many thefts after 6pm via the changing rooms, or just "company policy") than I suppose that might make sense, but to say "So What" and walk away is stupid and rude. Aside from losing a $200 sale, you lost a customer FOR LIFE. Since Amazon's prices are WAY less.... you have only TWO advantages: A customer's ability to try things on for size, and face-to-face customer service. Flush those two things down the toilet, then DON'T be so surprised when your store is chosen to be shut down.

I don't ever write reviews but I feel I have to this one time…read more I've had several Apple products over the years and have always been able to count on this store for purchasing all things Apple and fixing them. Yesterday my iPhone Xs stopped being able to connect to the internet. I had only had it for a few months, and it seemed it was an antenna issue. I brought it over and this guy Sam helped me take care of everything. I had Apple care so I was able to get my phone easily replaced; they had a replacement right there in the store. Then he reset my Apple watch as well to pair it to the new phone. On a side note, it's a shame that we have to purchase an extended warranty when the product is already over $1000, but that's on corporate, not the stores themselves. When I got home, my watch, which was in the process of resetting, got stuck in a bootloop (it displayed the Apple logo then went black, repeatedly and indefinitely). The next day, which was today, I brought the watch back to the store. Same as before, a short wait and I was given a specialist to help me. It turned out to be Sam again. He again was very helpful and tried everything to fix the watch in the store, and finally decided we had to send it out to get repaired. Now, I don't have the extended warranty for this watch, so I was afraid I'd have to pay the ludicrously expensive $399 repair cost (again, corporate's fault). However, they reassured me that since this problem was directly caused by them resetting the device in the store, I am covered for a repair. Super happy about that. I should also mention that I bought a screen protector at the store and got it installed there, but later that night I noticed there were bubbles and dust caught under it. I brought it back and they installed a brand new one for free. Again, fantastic (notice the theme here?). All in all, yes Apple products are expensive, but there's a reason Apple was the first (I think) company to reach a ONE TRILLION dollar valuation. It's not the crazy specs - there are many, many cheaper and higher spec phones with better displays, battery, etc. It's not the product design, although that is a major selling point (and sometimes a pain point - headphone jack removal is exhibit A). I've had many Android phones but there is one thing that keeps me coming back to Apple. It's not even their software. It is their unparalleled customer service and attention to detail that make Apple one of the best, if not THE best, electronics maker in the world. And of all the Apple stores I've ever visited, this one is the best of the best. Give Sam a raise.

Any time I'm dropping off Amazon, UPS, or USPS packages, there's always some snarky comment if you don't immediately know where something goes or mix up a label. Example: I accidentally thought a UPS label was USPS and instead of politely correcting me, the response was basically "well it says it right there." I honestly avoid coming here whenever possible and after my last experience, I'll probably just drive farther to avoid dealing with the attitude

I work for T-mobile and immediatey this is a red flag. For all we know that phone was stolen. The manager he is insulting did everything by the book and was far from stupid. Receipts cannot be faxed due to our customer proprietary network information policy but they can be searched easily through our system now just like they did back then. The only reason they wouldnt would be if he didnt have his I.D. which considering he doesnt have a receipt he prob didnt have his I.D. Secondly why was there no receipt? Who makes a significant purchase, signs a contract and then leaves without a receipt? All he needed was the store ID # and we could've very easily researched the receipt. Also we couldve looked up the contract by social. Of course he couldnt provide this. How convenient. He also fails to mention whether or not he was in a corporate store. Most people cannot tell the difference.Corporate stores cannot accept returns from authorized dealers. It's like buying a Sony TV from Bestbuy and trying to return it to a Sony store. In this scenario I'm fairly certain he was not in a crporate store in FL otherwise it wouldnt have been a problem. This has been done countless times by yours truly considering the customer had the proper paperwork. In the real world we cannot just assume you are telling the truth. especially with he amount of fraud that steps through our doors. This guy had fraud written all over him What was the outcome? What did we determine after your series of stupid mistakes? It is not our responsibilty to keep track of your receipts. What happened at that third t-mobile store? They probably sent him packing as well.
