Associated Aroborists; i.e. Taylor Alvarez, gave our family a very thorough walk-through of the yard, knowledgeably assessed the kind of pruning that was needed for a wide variety of trees in front and back. He set-up this walk-through very promptly and was at our home promptly. Within days, we received a very reasonably priced estimate of each tree in the yard, what he what that price included. We accepted the entire bid. The date for the pruning was set promptly. They contacted us to inform us that they could come two days earlier than scheduled....land they were there! The outcome of all the pruning really opened up the yard and provided more light to overly shaded areas, while providing more safety for us as property owners from falling branches during storms. We of course are also making sure that our trees do not cause undue harm to neighbors on three sides. All of that was handled and the outcome was just great. The yard clean-up was appropriate for a very messy job! Cost to value of outcome: Very fair! Taylor adjusted the price on the spot when a couple of trees out front had been pruned by our regular landscape company.....meaning he accepted a change to the agreed upon estimate for a very legitimate reason. As soon as I requested the estimate, Zack came the next day to walk me through my options and provided me with a quote by the end of the day. The service was fairly priced and I was able to get an appointment right away. Matt, Nate and Robert arrived on time and managed to carefully get their large trucks down my tiny lane. In 85 degree weather, these gentleman worked tirelessly to make sure this little widow who'd recently had back surgery, was completely satisfied with the job. We had a monstrous Douglas Fir on the edge of our driveway that died and was becoming a hazard. We contacted Associated Arborists and they came right away to do a quote to remove the tree and the resulting wood as well. They generated a quote right on the spot and it was reasonable and fair. The crew came by on schedule. They were quick, skilled, and very efficient. They had to cut all the branches carefully since there was another tree right at the back of the dead one. They chipped all the branches and then cut and laid the tree right down the center of the driveway. Perfect! The crew was very thorough, cleaning up all the tree trash and saw dust. We have used them in the past on several occasions. We have never had an issue with their service. It is first rate from treating our Birch trees to removing trees everything is done well. We had them out today. Matt, Nathan and Robert came on time and after we went over what was to be done they went about their work. They were very friendly and courteous. I think the thing that really impressed us is when they were going to prune the Cedar trees they found a nest of hummingbirds which they left undisturbed. As usual, the manager, Taylor, responded quickly to the request for a quote and, since the job was small this time, (trimming 3 trees that were beginning to block views), fit us into the schedule very quickly. I have a big red maple in the middle of my small backyard. It was shading the yard so much I couldn't grow anything and I thought I was going to have to remove it. But Taylor suggested thinning and now I have light while saving the tree. The crew also did a fine job pruning a Japanese maple that had dead branches & needed care. Our yard was in need of some trimming. Trees and small shrubs both had gotten little overgrown. Associated Arborists came out gave an estimate and returned on time first thing in the morning. By 9:30 they had done all work and this included the blackberry bushes and filberts I neglected to tell them about until the day of the work that weren't part of the original request. After the large ice storm of 2021 that hit McMinnville, I had large high tree limbs dangling over my neighbor's house and one tree who's top flat broke off! They came in with a decent price quote to deal with my problem trees. They shaped the one that lost its head and cleaned up the massive oak in the backyard, looming. We were very impressed with the work done for us by Associated Arborists to remove five very large diseased trees. Zack and his two partners were on time, made sure it was clear what they were doing and then set to work. They were industrious, polite and very cheerful as they zipped up the trunks of 70 foot trees, cut and fed a mountain of branches into a huge chipper and continually cleaned up after themselves. I needed to have a 65 foot tree and stump ground out from my front yard recently and Taylor was prompt in returning my initial call and coming out to give me a free quote. Zack is extremely knowledgeable about trees--how much to trim, diseases, and insect infestations. His bid was quite reasonable. The time between bid and job was just a week or so. This company did a fantastic job cutting back a huge tree and several large trees, removing four smaller trees, stump grinding, and treating for insects. They did all this within three hours, and they cleaned everything up nicely afterwards. Highly recommended!!! read more

The Team at Associated Arborists is so great, Taylor was very knowledgeable and it turned out that my HOA needed a letter from an ISA Certified Arborist regarding the condition of my maple tree which he was able to provide me at no extra charge.
