We were getting some pretty heavy winds and I was concerned about the rest of it coming down on my shop however the tree was Way to tall and close to my shop, pool and Gazebo that I couldn't do it myself. He could see my concern and said he would reschedule what he had planned for the day and go get his High lift truck and take care of it for me today. He was back within the hour and got the tree down with no misshapes to the surrounding objects. Great guy very reasonable on his bid. Did a great job. That's Dan.

Tyler, the owner, came out for the initial estimate, provided a very thorough assessment, and took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done to preserve the health of the tree. The excellent care continued throughout the entire job. Wade, the master climber, and Jesus, his co-worker, were fantastic. They answered all of my questions, did an incredible job shaping and pruning the tree, and were careful and professional. They stayed true to the estimate and also left my patio, yard, and even my neighbor's area cleaner than when they arrived. The whole experience was top notch from beginning to end, and I would gladly use King's Tree Service again. (Excellent value)

Kevin came out and was professional and detailed in letting us ask questions and giving us a very fair estimate. Got a few more quotes but we liked Grove the best so we scheduled removal + stump grinding with them. Alex + team just finished the service yesterday, doing everything in one day! The crew came out in two groups and were very efficient. They were very careful around plants to be kept, did a superb job cleaning up, and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Definitely recommend them for your tree care needs. You can see our pictures of before, during (very neatly spread out branches awaiting the chipper), and after! We have two 100 feet+ Douglas Fir trees in our backyard (along with many others in the country club…read morenext door) and a recent wind storm sent a broken limb ("widow maker") either from higher in the same tree or from another tree. This limb was snagged within the tree and was precariously balanced over couple of the lower branches about 40 to 45 feet above the ground. To remove this hazard, I called 5 tree care specialist companies to obtain estimates. Some companies have such high minimum charge (over $500) that I had to eliminate them immediately. Moreover, these big operation companies were not interested in such a small scale job. Couple of other companies were more accommodating and also cheaper, yet I felt that the people I spoke to were not as knowledgeable and/or lacked professionalism. Also, I wanted to hire a company that uses spurless climbing so that there is no damage to the tree bark. Although Ward Tree Care was not the cheapest, I was impressed with the owner's (Chris Ward) professionalism and quick response and I hired him right away after receiving a written quote. In addition, the written quote was detailed and organized well so that there was no confusion as to the services to be rendered. Other company's quotes were mostly hand-written and lacked polish. The broken limb was taken care of by Jared and Adam; both of whom were courteous and efficient at their jobs. Furthermore, both guys gave me tips on how to prune some of the other trees in my garden. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for tree pruning and "widow maker" removal service. The company is not only efficient and knowledgeable about its business, but also seeing a guy being suspended high above with a single rope can be entertaining as well; it was as if I were watching a National Geographic documentary featuring a naturalist climbing giant Redwood trees.
