I pick it up from them, they didn't replace the fan, the old fan is louder than ever, & the screen now doesn't work. What did these guys do? They then called me telling me to buy a worse laptop from them for $100-off a $900 laptop (the one they broke was $1500). But we were facing a variety of costly solutions. I remembered seeing Experimax and gave them a call just to see if they had any ideas. Ivan was so helpful and said they certainly could put in a new hard drive and the top line OS for the vintage of this iMac. I dropped it off at 3 pm and by 4:30, they called that it was ready to pick up. Just $150! We brought it home and set it up and it runs as good as new. We are long time Mac owners and have never had a problem like this that we couldn't solve on our own. and we knew a replacement of any type would be costly. She was efficient, friendly and gave me lots of good suggestions for improving my PC safety and speed. The service isn't cheap - $99 for the first hour and $25 per quarter hour thereafter, but if you have a quick problem, this is a good way to go.
