This was a very fun adventure for my six year old son. He enjoyed the boat ride (looking at the sights more than listening to the history of OC), but the stop on the island was the highlight of his vacation. The crew was awesome - captain of the ship let the children pull in a net full of fish and crabs. Would highly recommend as a low key, screen free activity.

Had so much fun. Found this tour last minute on yelp and had such an amazing and memorable time with my mom.

One horse sighted in this trip.

This was just ok. The ride was pleasant enough, and the price was affordable, but we really expected more from the "Assateague Adventure." First, we meandered in the harbor for some time rather than heading to Assateague. The views of the homes were lovely, but this means that the boat didn't get far into the island. At that point the boat headed to the island. The main attraction on the island are the wild horses. Clearly, sighting horses will vary from trip to trip. Yet, we saw one lonely horse. The boat then began heading back, stopping at a sand bar for some seining activities. The kids enjoyed trying to catch little fish in their nets. The trip ended shortly afterwards. Later we drove to the island and saw dozens of horses. Save your money and drive to the island.

Lovely tour of OC with a little time on the shore at Assateague. Our guide shared so much info. We showed up right before the scheduled tour and were so glad there was plenty of space to snag a spot. Highly recommend this!

Called first thing in the morning and spoke with them. Guided us down for a 10:30 tour. We got there just in time for it to be sold out but we waited and did the 11:30 tour. Kids and us both had a great time. The captain and narrator were both great, funny, and gave us a great tour of the island and history of Ocean City. The kids had fun trying to catch crabs and wading in the water on the island stop. If your looking for a low key not crazy expensive tour. Try this one

This boat ride to the island was a lot of fun and the perfect day activity for my 2 year old girl and my wife and I had a lot of fun too! The boat was clean and had plenty of seating. The Captain and first mate were attentive funny and entertaining. We were able to walk around the island and use nets to catch crabs and clams. On the ride back the fest mate had a tank of sea creatures which my daughter was able to look at and touch closely. I would definitely recommend this boat ride. It was a great way to see the island without having to remain on the island dealing with the horse flies, which were real bitters!

Did not see a single wild horse. It was basically a boat tour about the history of Ocean City. Not worth the money.

Great tour guide and captain. I would definitely do this again. The price was great, too.

We had an amazing time renting a pontoon boat for our group of 7 here! We decided to take a boat…read moreout to explore OC for the first time on Saturday and we're so glad we went with Bayside Boat Rentals! Check in was super easy and they gave our driver a 10 minute tutorial on how to operate the boat. Even though our driver has a boating license, they will issue you a temporary license and give you all you need to know to be safe out on the water! I was especially impressed because due to an incident with another group, we started our rental 15 minutes late, and they let us keep the boat for 15 min past our reservation to make up for time lost! For a 6 hour rental (1:30-7:30 PM), the cost was about $507. So split between 7 people, it only cost about $72. So worth it for 6 hours of free exploration time! They told us about a popular sand bar on the map that we checked out first and it was boat city! So many people out enjoying the redneck yacht club--so fun! After, we docked at Fish Tales for lunch. Then we had about 2 hours left, so we went swimming bayside (before getting stung by jellyfish...) and then rounded out the day docking at Seacrets. The pontoons comfortably fit 7 people, and would easily fit 1-3 more! We also had a giant Yeti cooler that fit with plenty of room to spare on the floor. They also come with pretty loud built-in speakers that connect to the radio and Bluetooth so you can DJ from a phone! You can also drop the back ladder for easy access if you decide to go swimming. Overall, the pontoon rental was a highlight of our weekend and we would love to do it again next time! Thanks Bayside Boat Rentals for an awesome first experience.

Really easy! I called 30 minutes before to check if they were busy. I was advised to come earlier…read morerather than later, since the winds were forecasted to pick up in the afternoon. They also described where to park when we got there. The guys were super friendly and got us all set up very quickly. I rented a stand up paddle board, and my husband rented a kayak. We were able to leave our things with them while we went out on the water. The water itself was really peaceful and relaxing. My standup paddle board rental only cost $20 for the hour, which I thought was totally reasonable. FYI, if you need to change, you can use the bathroom in the Princess Bayside. It wasn't the nicest of bathrooms, but at least it was something.

First time paddle boarding for both my better half & I. Def a fun experience. Bit of a workout too…read morewhich I'm always down for. I could tell my hip stabilizers & quads had been utilized (from all the balancing) later in the day haha. Reasonable pricing for an hour. For 2 ppl came to like $43. Be prepared to go for an hour cuz they don't have shorter time increments. Or just buy an hr and come back to shore when you're over it. Honestly; you'll need the hour just to acclimate to maneuvering the board. The place also offers glow in the dark paddle boarding! Looks cool but I'd be weary of any sea creatures in the bay at night. I've been watching way too much shark week/fest on Nat Geo lately lol. Only downfall in my opinion is that not all the instructors are made equal. Saw an older man & younger guy teach a couple groups before us and both were very thorough with their paddle board tutorials. This girl that I thought was just another paid customer approached us out of nowhere like "you ready?!"... oh ok no intro. She was quick with her instructions and def got us into the water fast. Seemed like she was ready to clock TF out for the day before she even started. I had fun for my 1st paddle board experience. I didn't fall. Success!I just would've been even better without this girl instructor's negative vibe. Issa whole mood that I wasn't feelin' at all. But she
