Had a very negative experience with this lounge. Priority pass is supposed to have access to this lounge but priority pass is arbitrarily not allowed into this lounge. This gentleman was very rude to me by not allowing me to speak to the manager, and then threatened to call immigration on me because I wanted to provide a face through a picture to the rude behavior coming from this lounge to a paying customer. Taking a picture of a lounge employee is not a crime (I checked with security). This man gave a threat that was therefore unwarranted. We have launched a complaint with priority pass to get them to remove their business with this lounge. I eventually did follow up with the lounge manager who was better, however I think being threatened with immigration makes this lounge not worth paying for or attending. read more

I guess it's nice to get out of the hustle of the terminal but c'mon major airlines, upgrade your lounge. I came here on my way out of AMS on a 15:15 flight to JFK. The place was packed, which I didn't mind as much as the fact that there were tons of used plates, bowls and other discarded items around that weren't cleared in the hour or so that I was in the lounge. Also, it's very far from a lot of the gates. I get that AMS is a huge airport but this lounge was tucked in a corner so be sure to schedule enough time when leaving to make it to your gate on time. read more

Unlike in the United States this lounge will not honor American Airlines Executive Card privileges and admit you if your tickets are booked on another airline. (Why an airport lounge cares what airline you are on is a mystery to me) Despite what the terms of your AA Executive Card and what it says on the American Airlines website, Aspire front desk staff will look at your ticket not your card. We were on British Airways and even though it clearly said booked through American Airlines right on the ticket, (because we used program points) they refused admittance. Beware. read more

I guess depending on the time you use the lounge it might be less packed or very busy. I was there for about 4 hrs and did go through the wave of having a lot of people and then being the only person there. The food was good and the lounge is spacious. I think this lounge is underrated given all its benefits. Yes, it's far from Terminal 3. Going from G gates to here took 15-20 mins. Yes, it's a bit inconvenient to find. We had to go up two separate sets of stairs/escalators to get there. And yes, the line can be long. We waited nearly 10 mins to even check in bc they have only one priority pass machine. But for US PP travelers, this is much better than many of the lounges we have. There's free serve alcohol (liquor, wine, and Heineken on draft), sufficient snacks (chips, cookies, fruit, etc), along with some food (hot soup, cold cuts, pastries, 4 types of salad, etc). This is amazing. Service was awesome; one of the women saw that there were no bowls when I wanted soup and immediately went to get a tower of them. We also had several people come around to clear dirty plates and cups while we were here (only an hour). For PP members wondering how this compares to the BA lounge next door, I couldn't really tell you bc I was denied access (and I arrived at 1:02 pm). However, from the other yelp reviews, the lounge doesn't seem super great AND Aspire has its own private bathroom inside (as opposed to having to go downstairs - according to the other yelp reviews). They have pour it yourself port! A win in my book. They have hard alcohols available as well as a section of wines and Heineken on tap. Green onion soup: light and creamy, was very good with the cheesy croutons and fried onions They had these little savory cheese pastries and mushroom stuff pastries along with salad options, ham, bread, salads, fruit, chips, and various bottled drinks. I especially enjoyed the coffee machine. It's one of those fancy silver contraptions and gave me an excellent cappuccino. They have delicious biscuit cookies next to the coffee/tea area. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite, 5 stars for their humor and politeness. Be aware that entry before 11am might be difficult since they section off an area for the Singapore flight, so space is more limited. You have to pay for the faster WiFi and showers as well here. Overall, I had a great experience here. Drank some port, nibbled on some yummies, and enjoyed a more quiet rest area. read more

I have tried to get into the lounge on two of my trips and both times had to wait a long time to get in. I was 99 on the waiting list for this last trip. Too many people have access to this lounge and it needs to be limited to just a few groups of people not multiple. The food was ok, but limited. No real pastry except for a one-inch-by-inch brownie and a pre-packaged cookie. With so many people gaining access they are making a lot of money and not providing the customers. read more

I was able to gain access to this lounge both times I attempted to. The first time was at 6 in the morning (630?), right when they opened. There was a bit of a line, and a family in front of us paying for 9 showers, so we weren't sure we'd get in with Priority Pass, but we did. I think the other time was in the morning but closer to 7am, and it was moderately full, but we were still admitted entrance. The coffee machine here is really nice, it makes a nice latte and I also got FOMO from the woman in front of me making a nice looking, foamy, still cappucino, so I also tried a cappucino. The drinks were great! They brew in about 20 seconds. They have lemon water and mint water down on the bar, but ice is scarce. It's one tin of about 30 ice cubes. I'd like to see more ice available. The food: there were small pain au chocolat, a savory soup (there were a few toppings) that looked like a slightly green gravy. People seemed to love it, though. They also have some cold cuts, and cheese slices. There's also a roped off area for a certain airline (Korean maybe). They have a few different seating arrangements. Nice lounge with showers, clean bathrooms, helpful staff, and plenty of snack options at Schipol airport. Rus and I crashed here for a bit while waiting to board our flight back to New York. It was a bit aways from our gate, but they provide estimates with how far away you are. I found that helpful. There are working stations, but most of the lounge is set up with armchairs and couches. Very comfortable. Plenty of outlets for charging your gadgets. They've got Heineken on tap and plenty of spirits and non-alcoholic beverages (it's a serve yourself situation). While we were there, they were serving bagels, soup, little donuts, stroopwafels, mushroom and cheese tartlets, and some mini pizzas. We got in with our Priority Pass cards, and it seems like the lounge is shared amoungst several airlines and card loyalty programs. Definitely check it out! read more

I mean, it's a standard lounge. There's free food which is great, but they're *very* strict about how many people they allow in at once, leaving many of the Priority Pass holders out in the cold. If you're patient and willing to wait, it's fine. The seating is definitely at full capacity and it can be a trek to find. That being said, it was a decent lounge with comfortable seating but definitely not as quiet as I'd expect a lounge to be. It's busy and there are definitely people working and getting things done. This lounge will do for a copule of hours layover, however, anything longer not so comfortable as it feels a little cramped in scale of size to constant heavy traffic flow of customers. It's AMS and the key place to transfer in EU so did no have too high expectations. Lite fare had variety with soup, deli meat, mini pastries, etc. Well stocked liquor, wines and seasonal water (mint, lemon and cucumber). This is a very busy lounge in the Amsterdam Airport. We had 3 hours before our flight so the lounge seemed like the best place to wait. There is a variety of seating choices from comfortable chairs to tables for eating. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are available. There is a food bar with lite food such as soup, cheese, bread, fruit and more. They have their own bathroom facilities and they were clean. This is a very busy lounge. Our only disappointment was the blond woman who checked us in. She was not very polite. read more

With some negative reviews I feel compelled to provide my observations from a 2 hour stay early on a Friday (between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM). The check-in staff were nice and courteous as they processed me with no boarding pass but just an electronic itinerary. Once inside, the food and drink offerings are certainly better than airline lounges in the US. The mushroom soup was quite good as were the bread rolls. The eggs, cheese and turkey salami were fine. I noticed that they also had cereal, yogurt, fruit salad and various breakfast pastries. For drinks, coffee, juice, soda, beer, wine and liquor were available for self serve. The lounge got crowded towards the end of my stay but there were still seats available. The view was good for an airport, I guess. There was a separate section roped off for Singapore Airlines. I saw the staff carrying different foods to that section (salmon?) but otherwise it might have been the same. In comparison to a Lufthansa lounge I stopped in about 3 months ago in Munich, the food selection may have been sparser but, as I wrote above, still much better than a typical US Airline lounge. P.S. I didn't pay to use this lounge and would not spend the 25ish euros for this or any other lounge anywhere. read more

I have a priority pass and we were told that the lounge is full and cannot take the member pass right now. They told us to wait until 10:30. As we wait, another lady with a priority pass came in and was told the same thing. She went to another person and caused a scene and was allowed to go in. I went to talk to the person and she RUDELY denied everything. You guys should really work on the human interaction aspect of your front desk employees! These ladies are so rude and disrespectful! They didn't smile at anybody who walks in. They are your company's face but they're doing a horrible job at representing the company. I'm a very reasonable person and was willing to wait because they said the lounge is full, but for them to treat differently is not fair. By the way, we waited for more than 30 min and another lady told us that we need to wait for another 30-45 min. Then they came back and let us in before the time they told us we needed to wait til. As far as airline lounges go this one is 'ok'. Usual amenities such as a shower are available for a fee unless you are flying with Singapore airlines which has a private area. Food is rather limited wish they had more options.. Kids are allowed which brings the noise level higher.. A decent respite from the bustle below! read more

We've tried to use this lounge twice now within the past 2 weeks. The first time we were stonewalled because we didn't have our Air Astana boarding pass due to an unwillingness on their part to issue our passes when we started in Houston. Maybe because we were filling with an infant who had a reserved seat, but I dunno. The attendant wouldn't consider our bp's to get to AMS, but we were able to show them the receipt from the self checkin kiosk showing we did have a reservation, but we had to go to the gate for boarding passes and it wasn't open yet. After about 15 minutes of haranguing, with the infant, two toddlers, and three adults, she let us in. We were using amex platinum card and they still hassled us. Now two of us are back, with a 4 hour layover. We tried to enter using our United one time lounge passes and this time she said we could only use them if we were flying on a United flight. (We're flying Air Astana and KLM.) We could not convince her she was wrong (she was/ is) as United says you just need the pass and any boarding pass for that day, coming or going. BTW - their sign says they are a Star Alliance lounge and specifically lists United. So we now have 3.5 hours of unexpected drudgery. Our experience seems to indicate that they really only want business/ first class clientele. Why else would they be so intent on finding reasons to deny access? read more

Aside from being difficult to find, a lounge is supposed to be chill and have some services. While there is seats and power here there is very little food and drink (aside from some cheese...well A cheese).
