Okay lounge (if you can get in). Aspire lounge 41 offers access to non-shengen flights only (there is another lounge for Schengen flights). There is a QR code you must scan to get onto the wait list, and when it's your turn (the webpage will turn from your waitlist number to green - your turn), you have ten minutes to get upstairs and check into the lounge. The wait was about an hour to get in, but once inside, I appreciated how clean and stocked it was (I didn't feel it was as busy as past lounges in the US I've been to). Ambiance is nice, with comfortable couches throughout the lounge. Food was okay, with various desserts, breads/croissants, cold cuts and a soup. Drinks were better, as they had soda, wine, and some alcohol you could pour yourself. All in all, okay for priority pass, but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase a pass here.

Ok lounge at best, definitely not worth paying to get in, I only went because I have priority pass. First of all, the lounge is crowded, seems like there is always a queue.. you can scan the QR code in the front and they will notify you when it's your turn. I was #40 and it took about 25 mins to get in. The lounge itself had pretty underwhelming choices for breakfast (I came at 10:45am). Mostly cold options with overly dry "American pancakes" and tomato soup.

    Breakfast food.

As of October 2023, Aspire 41 lounge is under renovation, so this isn't the best representation of what the lounge is. They did provide an alternative to a cafe that they converted into a lounge for members still, which I got in with my Priority Pass. The cafe is simple with a few breakfast items and a bartender to serve you drinks. There's very basic items like pastries, cheese, deli meat, and fruits. It just gets the job done while waiting for your flight.

Lounge was overcrowded but servicing tables was swift

I stopped here on my haul with a 3 hr layover in Amsterdam. As shared by multiple web forums the lounge was overpacked with the only other option British airways permanently closed. There is a queue url you log on to to get In line and I waited almost an hour. Once in the food was good with usual tomato soup, granola, muesli , cold cuts, cheese and Pastries. The bar is self serve with limited options (Heineken draft, couple of vodka, scotch choices). The coffee machine is great and try the espresso options. The food quality is good but the staff seems overworked and uninterested.

The lounge is under renovation and there is two cafes that take priority class members. Both of them are over capacity. You have to wait at least 2 hours to get in. Well I didn't get in cause I am on the plane when they notify me. Lol

Since the British Airways lounge is currently closed, this was our choice of Priority Pass lounge. I think there is another farther down the terminal. We came early in the morning and it wasn't crowded. It got very crowded around 8am though. There was a small buffet with a decent selection of food which was pretty good. The lounge was nice and clean. There were plenty of outlets by the chairs which I appreciated.

It's not a perfect lounge but is very nice compared to many of the lounges in the United States. During my visit I found this lounge very clean, organized, with various food options hot or cold, clean bathrooms with best of all peace and quiet. The Decour is modern and the chairs are made of either leather or faux leather a taupe/putty color. The food was set up almost college cafeteria style, you pick up your plate and go down the line to make your choices. There are several coffee/tea and juice machines throughout the space. If you need to charge you device(s) there are plugs near the seats. While there the food was freshened several times as well as the tables being cleaned. People spoke negatively on Yelp about the service however. that was not our experience. We were greeted by a friendly man at the counter who checked us in. It was necessary to quickly mark our seats knowing it may get crowded soon. So we moved it right along. Since I didn't have breakfast before arriving at the airport 6:30 am, I had their version of the Danish pancake, they were quite enjoyable. The coffee was comparable to that sold in a coffee shop. I'm so pleased to have a more pleasant experience than other Yelpers. Side note this place is hard to find Follow the directions when you find yourself spinning around in Starbucks locate the elevator hidden behind Starbucks and go up one flight.

I am now number 115 on the waiting list for a lounge that is pretty empty. It looks like you only want to cater to first class passengers.

We had flown in from Las Vegas (9 hour and 5 minute flight, the longest flight I've ever been on so far) and were waiting to board our flight to Budapest to start our two-week long journey to Europe. I'm probably going to get a ton of heat from saying this, but this here was my first time traveling outside the United States, and Amsterdam Schiphol was the very first European airport I've been in (while this is true, Hungary actually ended up being the first European country I've stepped foot in). This lounge also wasn't a very far walk from our assigned gate. This lounge is huge and they have plenty of seating all around. While I didn't get the chance to try their food, I ended up trying their coffee, which will always be my go-to drink anytime I end up inside of an airport lounge. From what I've been told, the coffee in Amsterdam is really good, and being the coffee lover I am, I'm looking forward to it once we actually make our way back there. Using the coffee machine was a little confusing at first, but eventually I got the hang of it. Showers are included if you're just coming off a very long flight and require a connecting flight. The restrooms here, while smaller than the ones I'm used to back at home, are also clean and very well kept. We may return to this lounge on our way back home to Las Vegas, depending on what gate we may end up in.

The food offerings were rather mediocre, the lounge was too crowded. The seating opportunities were not all that comfortable. 2) After de-planing after more than 90 minutes waiting in the plane before they declared a non-fixable technical issue: Ok there was a small relief that they found it before taking off. But that's all. After that minimoment, there was only the frustration about losing a whole day in a shitty hotel but that there was an absolute chaos and poor management, poor communication. As business class traveler, I was directed back to the lounge, but within the lounge, there was a lack of proactive information/communication. Taken both together, it was a memorable experience that I would like to forget as quickly as possible.

The interior is modern and perhaps a bit futuristic, a lot of white shiny surfaces but still warm and inviting due to brown fabrics, fake fireplace, etc... The lounge provides an excellent way to relax before a flight. The Food and Beverage offerings change through the day to match with people's needs for the particular time of day. Their is usually soup, warm savoury snacks, cheeses, fresh olives, two types of salads, fresh bread buns, cheese, meat, etc. At certain times of the day there are also nice sweet offerings, like macaroons, chocolate cake, etc. The products on offer are always of good quality and are tasty. The fizzy drinks are nicely presented in small bottles (no no 'post mix' taps) in fridges and I have never seen an empty fridge. I'm not much of a wine drinker so I can't comment on the choice of wines nor about their quality. There is a good WIFI connection, downloading a tv show from iTunes doesn't take very long (though the speed will obviously vary). Toilets are clean, one very spacious near the end of the lounge and smaller ones near the entrance. A nice enough selection of magazines and international newspapers. The lounge offers speedy border passage with their dedicated security lanes (they can be a lifesaver) for both Schengen countries as non-Schengen countries (iris scan). All in all, if you travel regularly through Schiphol this lounge offers good value! There are extra services for car owners who want to park as close to the runway as possible. As I don't have a car I can't comment on those...

Flying in from a European country and getting your luggage and then out felt like it took nearly as long as flying in from the US and having to go through customs. The walk to the baggage claim from the FinnAir terminal was incredibly long and the baggage took what felt like forever. There are tons of restaurants and shops here. Unfortunately if you need to eat gluten-free, this airport really doesn't have options. They do sell the cheese that is for sale at all the gift shops around Netherlands here after security and at a cheaper price than many tourist shops and even the cheese factory itself in Volendam. Security and immigration are definitely a hassle here with their questions. Be prepared for Dutch bluntness. You have to be blunt right back with them. I had a new in box water filter in my carry-on because I went to a remote cabin in Finland for a week. Security tried to give me a hard time about why I had a water filter as if that's somehow contraband. Just be very direct to the point it comes across as rude (for Americans) when responding. I had a mini mental hair clip the size of my thumb print go off and I had to get a pat down and they almost made me take it out of my hair to get scanned. Some issue with the new European passport and fingerprint scan thing (EES) flagged me so I had to talk to immigration. Naturally the line for everyone who got flagged happened to be the immigration officer trainee line so it took 3-4x as long as the other immigration officer lines because staff was walking the trainees through what to ask and type. I was seriously worried I'd miss my flight. My husband didn't get flagged and had time to order food and eat it at a restaurant downstairs in the terminal, that's how long a passport check after security took. Flying in isn't bad but omg flying out is a hassle and you'll need to give yourself extra time with the new EES system implementation. Latest visit: June 2026
