I called Aspen Dental on West Center Road. I mentioned i wanted a checkup xrays and cleaning by the end of March. Appt was made. At the appt xrays were taken and Checkup was done but they were scheduling May for Cleaning. I mentioned that I told the person that made the approval that I need a Cleaning before the end of March as insurance was ending. I had to pay for extra xrays before I could leave. This is a classic bait and switch. Get a person in the office then let them know that you are not scheduling until May. Please do not go to any Aspen Dental. Trust me on this. Summit Dental is 1000% better and will treat you like you should. They cleaned my teeth and no problems at all. I would have given zero stars for Aspen Dental if I could but had to give one. first came in january2025 in regards to a cracked tooth the dentist and assistant were both very kind and made me feel comfortable. i was told my wisdom teeth needed removed urgently and other than that my teeth were good minus and old root canal that they said was fine but eventually would need a crown. so they put a crown on my cracked tooth and got me scheduled for the wisdom teeth removal i applied for care credit as i could not afford the 1800 to cover it in full and i wouldn't have don't the credit if the apr was insane. they had told me it was 18 months interest free and then at the end of that 18 if it was not paid off all of the interest would be added on. i knew that was doable so i agreed and signed my contract i remember calling my parents and having the conversation with them as my dad knows exactly how credit works and this is only my second time dealing with credit at all and he said it was a great deal . i got my wisdom teeth removed and woke up the next day with low and behold my old root canal suddenly was "infected" and my tooth turned blue i brought this up immediately at my follow up appointment and was told there was nothing they could do sent me to a specialist where i was told it'd be 2600 to fix the tooth. so i was understandable upset but i brushed it off and assumed it was an accident tooth still is not fixed. it took me awhile to notice and actually check my care credit statements but i checked in december and my balance had moved only over $100 after paying almost 80 a month for the last 8 months a $200 payment and $120 payments so i looked into my statements and noticed i was getting charged some random security charge on top of my bill with was nearly $30 which i called and got cancelled but i was told nothing about this charge in my contract. i then noticed i was being charged $26 in interest??? i reached out and tried to get this issue resolved and had called aspen dental for WEEKS and the kept pushing me aside. when i finally got in contact just today they told me i signed a 60 month with reduced interest which i explicitly know i did NOT sign up for when i asked what the reduced apr was i was told 25%???? reduced???? that normal is 35. sick to my stomach i was not accommodated at all and then they had to nerve to tell me i had a outstanding balance of $118 which i had no knowledge of when i did my payment situations on top of the already screwing me over with the care credit. do not go here. read more

They have no problem shoving filthy gloves in your mouth. ASPEN has gone down to the extreme bottom of the hill. They now add services automatically to your appointment without asking you and charge you when you show up knowing it is NOT covered by insurance. The new office staff (for the 4th time in 2 years) is inexperienced, unprofessional and try to upsell services you DO NOT NEED. When we questioned them, they said they automatically do this now for all patients. WOW, REALLY! Furthermore, we had to fight with them for several months to get over $600 in reimbursement for our 23 year old daughter since they charged her up front for covered dental work and also charged our insurance so they were double paid. Had we not questioned the Explanation of Benefits statements we received from our dental insurance company to them, Aspen would have never said anything. THIEVES!!! How many other people have they stolen from and also from other insurance companies??? Save yourself multiple migraine headaches as well as being overcharged and find another dental office!!! read more

I will NEVER go to Aspen EVER again.........EVER!!!!!! I have a stroke and another things and the dentist didnt CARE at all.....BANG nothing....I have PTSD and I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome...this is a new problem for me but the dentist didnt care.....BOOM I was SCREAMING!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T DO IT! I went in with a chipped tooth and $3000 later my teeth are in worse condition than when I started there. Dr. K put in a temporary crown and I loved it. Then the permanent one was half the size. Didn't match my teeth size at all. Even the tech was wondering what was up with that. When I went in a week later to address it, he took it out and pulled the nub. They took it off my bill then PUT IT RIGHT BACK ON MY BILL. Then they added a tooth to my already existing bridge and charged me $699 for something I had paid $300 for a year before. So, $999 for a crown I did not have for even a week, $699 for a tooth added to a bridge I already owned, and another crown which he said was needed when I don't think I really needed it but I trusted them. the tooth next to that crown has broken in half now. Now I cannot even go to a dentist until I pay off this scam of a bill. read more

Terrible experience with office manager. She did not tell me that with a deep cleaning I got a package that included electric toothbrush, rinse and toothpaste which I had to pay $261. Insurance billed $600. They do not have a dental hygiene person yet but I was told I need 2 more cleanings. I canceled extraction, crown and partial. I loved the dentist and his assistant but they have nothing to do with billing. Outrageous how senior citizens are taken advantage off. I had no idea my $261 out of pocket was for toothbrush (charged $135) rinse ($25) toothpaste $25 and $19 per quad for irrigation. read more

My son had his wisdom teeth taken out and has called repeatedly to ask about continuing pain. after several weeks the still say it's normal. That is, when they actually call back. It's not normal to have severe pain after weeks. They offer no help. read more

Dr K is the man! I had been going to a dentist close to my home who - SURPRISE - got popped for scamming Medicare. Went to Dr K at Aspen and he assessed my situation, developed a plan, repaired what the prior guy did poorly, and I'm back in top form again. Could I get cheaper care somewhere else? Maybe. If 0 stars were possible this is what I would review this "Dental Office". I was called and asked to come in early because of cancellations. I arrived an hour before my scheduled time and a man who arrived after me was taken back before I was. I then had to deal with x-rays and after met with a "hygienist" who tried to sell me an electric toothbrush, prescription toothpaste & an expensive mouthwash. She informed me I would then meet with the "doc" and then the "office manager" to set up a plan. I had the hygienist and the doc both show me my X-rays and point out my numerous cavities and gingivitis. The reason I came in was for a check-up, cleaning and minor pain in my wisdom teeth. After over an hour of meeting with people I had received no cleaning and many pages of a "plan" for all of the procedures I would need that had a whopping total of 4830.90. let me start by start by saying my very 1st visit with Dr K was not a 5* visit but a 10* visit. i had face planted myself on a concrete driveway and had broken my original dentures, which didn't really fit my mouth anyway. he staf was friendly, kind, and very sympathetic to my bruised, swollen, and scraped up, and in some areas still open wounds. Dr. K was able to make me a new set of teeth that not only fit my mouth but face perfectly. he told me that when the swelling went down and my teeth became loose to come in and they would re-adjust them. that's when EVERYTHING went to hell in a hand basket. unfortunately Dr K was not there to take care of me but some moron from hades was. if i could rate him it would have been a -10*the guy should have his license removed he has no idea what he is doing. he asked if i had any sore spots, then he touched my teeth in my mouth and said they fit fine. well the reason i didn't have any sore spots is bc i very rarely wore them. only when i went out in public and when i ate food that i absolutely had to have teeth for. bc otherwise they would pop loose in about 5-10 minutes and it's embarassing as hell to have loose teeth when you are talking and you can't excuse yourself every few minutes o go fix them. and it's hard to eat a meal when the keep coming loose and things get caught under either he top or lower plate. so i asked him, so am i just imagining it that i used to be able to eat an apple and now i can't even eat a sandwich with out my eeth falling out? i must be bc according to you they fit fine. i was in tears when i walked out on the idiot. i did send an e-mail to Dr K but never got a response. i also asked if i could book an appointment specifically with Dr. K but was told he is very rarely in the office now, and hey don't know when he will be in. i told them that i don't work, so if they could call me when he is in i would be happy to come in on a moments notice. they said they would. that was about a yr ago. still nothing. tonight my 1 1/2 yr old lower plate had 2 teeth break off while i was biting into a taco. i'm so hesitant to go in. i know i have no choice, but i'm afraid i will have to see that moron. i don't trust him to not look at my teeth and not tell me they are fine as i'm holding the 2 broken teeth in my hands. i will update this review after i can get in to see a dr. and get them repaired. i bought the top of the line, so they should still be under warranty. and i don't think biting into a taco is neglegent behavior, i haven't ever dropped them, hell i rarely wear them! so it should be free. we shall see what we shall see. read more

I have been doing a whole lot of price checking in the Omaha area. Extraction prices are comparable, if not less than some of the other 15 Dental Practices that I called. Denture prices also comparable. I have never spoken with anyone about the quality of their dentures...and I am a little concerned about the advice that the least expensive sets "may need adhesives". Truly this won't dissuade me...I understand that upselling is a good plan, my family Dentist did the same, would have just liked to hear more confidence in ALL their products. The staff was professional and respectful to me and my dental condition, no judgment. One never knows what someone has been through is my motto and I felt that the staff has the same philosophy. It was a beautiful, perfect Saturday and the staff seemed to be enjoying their jobs, laughter and smiles the whole time I was there. read more

I should have learned my lesson when I went there the first time. Unfortunately, I went back as an "established patient" because I thought it would be more convenient. This office is handled much more like a profit-seeking business than a dental practice...not that dental offices can't be profitable, but the patient care is driven by the income potential, not the patient needs. So, I just wasted a lot of time and will still have to establish a new relationship. After specific discussion prior to scheduling, I arrived to find my cleaning was scheduled on a day that the hygienist doesn't work and they are too worried about my insurance maximums to actually perform any services, so I left with nothing but a referral and a huge feeling of dissatisfaction......poor customer service will not serve them well in the end. read more

I have broken and cracked teeth. Almost every tooth has something wrong. I was assured over and over again that they could do dentures. The first thing out of the dentist's mouth is "I don't go off of a budget" first red flag. Same as other reviews I got told I'd need $4000 in in depth cleaning. Second red flag. The third was when they tried to do damage control from a bad survey they sent me. The receptionist told me the door would out his license on the line to do denture for some one as young as me. I'm 40. She said the $20000 plan they had was better..... With out even trying to find a middle ground she then said she would send all of my records elsewhere if I was so unhappy. After going to a new dentist with the same insurance, it's amazing how much less I'm getting charged for better service than I was at Aspen dental. I also find it interesting I had gone to aspen dental for 4 years and always had cavities in about the same spots, even though my teeth never bothered me. I have yet to have had a new cavity filled after over a year at Summit and my teeth feel great. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend it. read more
