I'm the girl with super-mega dental phobia. I'm not missing any teeth, don't have scary gum disease…read moreand lack a logical excuse for my fear. Some of us fear spiders and some of us fear dentists, but since I am insane about oral care, I suck it up and go. Although both Dr. Wilsons are great, I see Dr. Bob the most. He is the NICEST dentist on the entire planet of earth. The entire practice is customer service focused from the minute you walk in the door for your appointment when you're greeted by name (they take a photo of you at your first visit). When you're called back for your appointment, you're given a pillow, offered a blanket and setup with a headset with XM radio or a movie (they have a DVD collection). They use the latest in dental technologies - high pressure power wash (I'm sure there's a real name for that), digital cameras that show your teeth in super-zoom and flouride that only sits in your mouth for what seems like a millisecond. My entire family has switched to this practice. I'm slowly coverting my friends as well. Best of all, this clinic doesn't have that distinct dental clinic smell that conjures up that fear.

When I was 18 I had to find my own dentist, so I opened up the phone book (yes, I know, I just aged…read moremyself) closed my eyes, and pointed to a random one on the page. It happened to be Quality Dental Care. What a fearless and naive young adult I was- just blindly following the whims of fate. I was also pretty lucky because I ended up as a patient of Dr. Trumms for 12 years! I will be switching due to my insurance changing. And, let me tell you I'm seriously distraught over the situation. Hence- why I am writing this review. Looking into finding a new practice has shown me how lucky I have been over the years. While yes, there are several comfort features they offer to the more timid dental goers... I have established that I am fearless and never took the staff up on their offers of comfy blankets, TV's positioned above me, or massage chairs. What I found more appealing was the transparency in services. As the teeth nurses do their initial examination, they identify the strength of your gums and use a tiny camera to collect the data and input it into a computer to give you a visual. I no longer had to wonder how my teeth were doing because I was finding out in real time with their equipment. This is vastly different from other offices where the dentist just gives you the thumbs up or [thumbs] down. The Hygienists are knowledgable and always available for additional education if you prompt them. They stay very informed on the newest technologies including brushes, water picks, and types of toothpaste. They are seriously experts. I challenge you to ask them a question and wait for your mind to be blown. I can also attest that I have had many for years! It speaks volumes to find a staff so cohesive and long running... like Grey's Anatomy. They also communicate with ear pieces. If the doc is in the middle of a procedure, they will call for additional instruments instead of having to run in and out of the room. This increases the efficiency and reduces the amount of time one must spend in the chair with their mouth open in an obviously unflattering position. Speaking of flattering, shoutout to Brittany the real MVP of my glorious smile. The woman breaks it down for ya'. Instead of trying to compete with patients checking in at the front desk, there is a separate checkout desk to go over your visit and review charges. Goodbye surprise bills! She also helps you set up a follow up visit for your next cleaning. This is great because I would totally just run out the door and later find myself counting on my fingers how long its been since I had a cleaning. Now, I just have to glance at my calendar. Oh yeah, let's talk Trumm. He is a fantastic guy. A real family man. Every time I go in he gives me an update on the kiddos and asks how my life is going. Like seriously, so personable. He's also pretty great about adjusting lights so they aren't in my eyes and other little things that I'm currently blanking on. He has also saved me quite a bit of money. I have a spot on one of my teeth that any other doc would want to fill, but he has just been watching it. I love that he always takes the conservative approach. I can't tell you how many times this gent has saved me from uncomfortable procedures, down time, and excessive unnecessary spending. You can tell he really enjoys what he is doing and has fun. In my MANY years of coming here I have never been canceled on. I didn't realize what a big deal that is until I started my research of other offices. It really made me think, Dr. Trumm is the Bees knees. All in all, I'd say they're an iight group.

I will continue to trust her whenever I need help with my teeth. All ladies on staff, which is very comforting to me. The place is always very clean. People of all ages can receive treatment here. At one point I had a filling done and a few days later ended up having the tooth with the filling taken out at the same time as my extremely troublesome wisdom teeth which had to happen at an oral surgeon who doctor Schneider recommended, and the next time I went to back to the dentist she had put a credit for the amount I had paid for that filling since the tooth came out shortly afterwards. It wasn't her fault that my wisdom teeth did such damage. I also know that all members of the staff here are treated very well, most of them have been working together a long time, which is so nice to see! A place with low turnover is always a green flag! One time I had an over $600 refund, because they made me pay for the whole thing upfront rather than billing my insurance and then billing me. Therefore, they held onto my money for about six months. They did recommend some additional units around my eyes, but being that I am a newbie and was overly paranoid about looking like Janice Dickinson, I declined. I knock them one star because when I arrived there were 2 staff without masks, which I found odd for a dental office.
