At first my experience was great, everyone was so helpful and the procedure to get my dentures was not bad. I was told that if I had any problem to give them a call and they would get me in. The "get me in" is only if they have an appointment available. I am having major problems, can't eat, can't talk and have pain and I have to wait 5 days to be seen. TLDR: They misrepresent what you'll end up being billed---grossly. They provide a treatment plan with estimated costs. I paid the full "patient financial responsibility" total which is based on discounts and benefits. Some time later they billed me an ADDITIONAL $4k claiming insurance didn't cover. What's the point of sitting down with their treatment plan review person if that person can't even lookup what's covered before sending me a massive (no discounts either) bill. Everyone was friendly, the hygienist, Barbara was very knowledgeable she explained everything about the deep cleaning process and asked often to see if i had any questions or concerns. The procedure was painless, they give you a pair of cool sunglasses to wear so the light won't bother your eyes. Fast service is how I like it. read more

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist. Every time I go, I am in so much pain. The numbing shots do not work for me, and they don't have an alternative. Just tell me that it isn't a spa and it will hurt even though I've been to other dentists and have not had this problem. They do not tell me what they are doing before they do it, they did a fill and crown without me even knowing. I originally thought they were just putting a temp crown on a tooth that got a root canal, but they did a whole filling and temp crown on another tooth without me knowing. The root canal experience is a whole other story. The lady did not believe that I still felt pain after 10 numbing shots and even assumed that I do drugs because of it. I should not be feeling pain during the whole procedure. I've been to 2 appointments for my permanent crowns, and it wasn't made right. I was kept in the office over 2 hours so they could re pack my tooth and do scans for my permanent crowns and then I get a call that they need to rescan. Do not go here, they don't care about their patients. I know someone who's sister worked here and she told me her sister even said they complain about how many patients they get. If you don't like your job, don't do it. People shouldn't be suffering because you don't like what you do. read more

This place is a wallet hunter, selling services that are not required and telling me that my cleaning for 33 years is illegal! Yes illegal! And they wanted to give me a deep cleaning for $400, which is not covered by my insurance, even though I have had my regular cleaning for 33 years, and no exam or anything to change the procedure. Rescheduled with another local dentist on the same day. She reiterated that there was no need for any deep cleaning. If you go to Aspen, hire a bodyguard to watch your wallet. I had my appointment at this location; I was previously a patient in Katy, TX and loved the service. I had a full set of XRays done as they do for all "new" patients ... The DDS saw me and went through my mouth while the assistant was taking notes ... someone came behind her and adjusted the notes (not sure why) -- I waiting an additional 15 min for the hygienist to come and do his review -- all good ... I was told to wait in the waiting area so I can get my treatment plan and benefit coverage information. I was called pretty quick but the office person did not have my secondary insurance together nor did she at all explain what it all meant. She adviced she will have to wait until Monday to call and get benefit information ... I have not heard back at all, have not been contacted to make an appointment according to any plan nor have I been given any feedback on my coverage... this was a very substandard visit -- the office person was not at all welcoming to customers either read more

I went I for an exam Dr.Rodriguez told me the treatment plan I needed and to see the office manager at the time was Amanda. She told me my part would be a certain amount and my insurance would cover the rest. I quickly realized she was billing the wrong insurance she tells me oh it will be ok it will work out. I got an EOB from the insurance that I didn't have because I had another dental insurance company. I called she once again told me it was ok. Now a year later they refuse to see me for implants because I now owe more money. I have been dealing with this for over a year and nothing is getting done. I paid over 9 grand my part now owe more. Aspen Dental doubled my co-pay and it took 4 months to get a refund! This is my third dental office in Georgetown TX. I have been overcharged at each office. Each time I pursued the refund and each time it has taken months to get it! I checked, Aspen Dental has a "contract" with Delta Dental agreeing to charge their patients a predetermined amount for services provided. April 4, 2023. I received a temporary crown, replacement for the crown lost the previous weekend. April 17, 2023, I returned for the permanent crown. As I left the office the staff charged me $98 co-pay. Later I logged into my dental insurance provider's (Delta Dental) website to find I should have been charged $49, half the co-pay charged. My EOB "Estimate (Summary) of Charges," showed I was overcharged. May 3rd, I called Amanda questioning why they charged the extra $49. She said their system was down and she couldn't see my charges. May 19, she made the same claim, and May 24, again she made the same claim. June 16, 2023, Amanda informed me Delta Dental had not provided the 90-day review (whatever that is??) thus she couldn't see my charges. I logged into Delta Dental and again saw my EOB. In the past Delta Dental paid at the end of the month the services were provided. June 3, 2023, Amanda claimed my charges were still pending in The system and they did not have my EOB! (I called corporate 1-877-335-8273 to complain, spoke to Jermaine, and got no-where!) July 22, 2023, Amanda claimed it could take up to two years for Delta Dental to pay! July 28, 2023, I called and my dentist Vidhi Shah answered; she said the refund was in their system to be processed and I should see the refund within 10 days. August 2, 2023, Matt informed me Amanda processed my refund August 1. August 16, 2023, the refund hit my account. To get this $49 refund I made over 20 calls to Aspen Dental, (512-876-2060) and it took me over 4 months. read more

I visited very first time and did the whole mouth and pano x-rays here. Dentist referred me to do wisdom tooth extraction. When I requested for x-rays they mentioned it may take up to 7-10 days. I called again after 10 days and they asked me to again wait up to 10 days as they've to create a new request again. It's just waste of time!! read more

My mom went in for a removal procedure and they ended up leaving half of it in there and also cracking another one of her teeth and they acted as if it was already like that. If I could give this dental place no stars I would. My husband went in to get a cleaning and ended up needing, apparently, a lot of work done. After all the work was completed I realized we had overpaid for the procedures. The dental office now owes us over $480. Repeated emails and calls have gone unanswered and we are now on month 7 of not getting our refund. DO NOT GO HERE AS THEY OVERCHARGE and will NOT give you a refund when you've over paid. read more

I had a horrible experience with this dental office. I am 25 weeks pregnant, I went in because I was having issues with one of my fillings. I have a small mouth, it has been commented on (and accommodated) by every other dental office I have visited. Except this one. First I had to remind the dental assistant to follow the accommodations outlined from my doctors release about x-rays. Thank goodness I read them before hand and knew what was required. The dental assistant struggled to get the size 2 plate to fit in my mouth and wound up scraping the inside trying to force it to go in and stay in place. My gums were bleeding. I asked if they had a smaller plate that would fit and she went and got it but was visibly upset that my x-rays were not coming out to her liking. She kept saying "oh my god" "please work" etc. I have never had a dental assistant be so obviously unprofessional and outwardly upset about my mouth being small. She even made a snarky comment asking if I still had my baby teeth. It was very embarrassing, I was almost in tears and kept apologizing. Then the hygienist came in and did not clean my teeth, but made me watch a video about how I could benefit from Invisalign and kept trying to sell me on it. Once the dentist came in, she was able to figure out it was an issue with my filling. After all of that I scheduled AND paid for my next dental appointment that next Saturday to get it fixed. On Thursday, (2 days before the appointment I already paid to have) the office manager calls and says that they didn't schedule the Hygienist to do my cleaning so she needed to reschedule my appointment, or I could come in for the filling and then they could do my cleaning at a later time. I let her know that I was not happy about that and that since I was at work I would have to call her back. I called back around 4:30 that same day and no one answered the phones and it went right to their answering machine (multiple times). I tried again on Friday to reach the office but none of my class were returned and I could only leave a message. I let it go, BUT when I showed up on Saturday for my filling repair the office person said that I didn't have an appointment. I showed him my email confirmation and everything. The office manager had cancelled my appointment and did not let me know. I was extremely upset and asked for a refund. He said he put it in for the refund but I never received any email confirmation that it went through. He did give me a copy of my x-rays and said that he emailed me a copy as well. Very unprofessional staff! Clinics like this are the reason that people hate going to the dentist. read more

Well I can see why this place has bad reviews. My wife went in to her appointment and receptionist said she did not confirm it so it would be a 2 hour wait. Now this appointment was made a week ago and they called to confirm on a weekend Saturday 1 day before appointment.. Wife works nights on weekends so she wasn't able to call back due to hour differences. So they just assumed she wouldn't be there. I work in a clinic myself and appointments are pending or confirmed BUT we don't just cancel appointments if pending they are still appointments. My wife arrived and the rude receptionist Amanda was very uncaring. The clinic I work at strives to make every interaction a pleasant one that starts at the front office which this clinic is lacking. I hope the back office staff and doctor are not as rude and condescending as Amanda was. No review for them since we weren't going to wait two hours to be seen. read more

I want to say the 24 hours after this post the Dentist personally called and made arrangements to get me in for an evaluation of the situation. Went in for a cleaning and 5 hrs later I had 11cavities worked on. Now I have food pockets and ceramic burrs on my teeth with sharp edges. I sent my films to a colleague dentist who said they saw me coming a mile away and ran with my great insurance coverage. Now my mouth hurts and I'm irritated. Staff told me my appointment was never confirmed and that they left me multiple voicemails trying to confirm. I received no calls. Confirmation text also did not express needing to confirm, only "click to cancel or reschedule." The appointment I had scheduled for weeks was given to someone else. Also witnessed a customer enter the lobby and complain to the front desk that they had not returned his calls or voicemails. Somebody is not doing their job and customers are being blamed. read more

I had an appointment in June 2024 for implant info and cleaning in the Georgetown, TX office. They pulled the tooth and gave me a "flipper" to cover the hole prior to implant, had x-rays done for the implant, cleaned my teeth and took a mold to make a partial for a previously pulled tooth. I was directed to Care Credit to finance my charges. In July I received a statement from Care Credit for $8,571.75 with interest charge of $98.72 and minimum payment of $232.00. I called the office and spoke to Ashley who emailed me a full page of charges for the $8,571.75--most of which had yet to be done with the actual implant. I freaked out! I was paying interest on services not rendered! On 8/23, Ashley agreed to credit $5,928.70 to Care Credit in "7-14 business days". This was further reduced by $500 for lab fee for partial never picked up. As of 9/23/ 2024, no refund has been received by Care Credit. This is extremely poor business practice. Hello!!! This was the absolute BEST dental and most complex experience I've experienced. Dr. Rodrigues AND THE ENTIRE staff is genuinely a team and very caring to patients! For full transparency, I am a Type 2 Diabetic and have had VERY advanced gum disease. I have been losing teeth off and on for the past decade and very painful/swelling gums. I've had bridges for my upper and lower teeth to replace the teeth I lost to have some semblance of a 'normal' smile (see pictures #1 and #2). Over the years, I looked for the right dentist to do the work necessary to put my oral care in order. Recently, I found Aspen Dental/Dr. Rodrigues' office on the internet and decided to call...what did I have to loose.... if it didn't work out like the other dentist offices, then I would keep looking. From my first visit to Dr. Rodrigues' office, I was warmly welcomed and had the very difficult conversation about my dental care. Dr. Rodrigues didn't flinch at the extent of the care/work I needed to have done. She actually LISTENED to my concerns and game plan for my future dental care! Also, I was on a budget and the whole procedure came within my dental coverage budget!!! I had my dental procedure done and now I'm so so so happy and pleased with the work done at Aspen Dental (see picture #3)!! THE STAFF IS INCREDIBLE...SERIOUSLY!!! Most won't need the extent of work that I needed, so just know this office will meet the care you may need. Make the call, talk to Chris or whoever answers the phone, you'll be glad you did. I didn't expect to show the state of my teeth before my procedure done by Dr. Rodrigues, but how can I really help someone else if you can't see the 'real deal' status of my teeth. Hygienists are fabulous!! Dentist is cold and judgy. Front office is beyond incompetent. I have been there twice in the past year and am thankful I don't go more often. My appointments get mixed up, they make me wait for 30 minutes to pay my bill. Dentist doesn't speak, other than to tell the hygenist what notes to put on my chart. They advertise a positive experience but it's largely untrue. read more

They took a $2,500 deposit for surgery, ended up finding another awesome dental surgeon in Georgetown that did the surgery for $1,300. Aspen was going to charge $5,300. We called the day after deposit was taken and they said we should have a refund within 10 day. It's now been a month and still no refund. Long story short. Loved the dentist, but the Office manager is rude and will not provide receipts for services paid for prior visits. All in all, I was given a written estimate for $1436 in May 2023 with the same insurance company I had, then When I went in to get the bridge and two crowns put in, was told I had to pay an additional $1271, this was in addition to the $1,761 that I already prepaid on 1 August. Total paid $2978 on a $1436 estimate? Fast forward, I received an email to do a survey and completed it, with very honest wording about my treatment and interaction with the Business office manager, On August 27, 2023 received a letter stating I was no longer allowed to use any Aspen dental facility. So tell the truth and get kicked out of their system, Good luck to those who choose to use Aspen Dental in GT, Bring your wallet. They still receiving payment from the insurance company for services I was told the insurance would not pay, so I paid and now they are collecting from the insurance company also. read more

Thanks for wasting my time!! This place doesn't deserve any stars but since the dentist and hygienist were actually good they can have 1 star. The girl that did my x-rays was horrible and scraped the inside of my mouth really bad. A dentist had to come in and help her. And then the person up front tried to get me to do a credit check and all this work done. Of course I declined. Then I went in for my cleaning and the lady up front had an attitude problem. I was really happy to be at this location the people from the front desk was very attentive to hygienist definitely knew what she was talking about and had the knowledge to answer all of my medical technical question. The professionalism and their enthusiasm was so intoxicating I enjoyed every moment even when I experienced slight discomfort they were able to mend it down and to give me a time so that I can restart the whole cleaning process. read more

My husband, who is a retired Dentist, & I have received treatment there in the past 6 months. they do a good job cosmetically-- but are extremely under-staffed, with untrained Front Desk people. I called Mon. for an NPI number, asked Front Desk, who didn't know how to get it-- kept me on hold for 4 minutes, forgot about me-- and I hung up. All Mon morning; I kept trying back-- either to no answer, or a long wait (over 5 minutes). Finally, 3 hours later-- I tried again. I explained that I needed to get Aetna reimbursement for our Dental work a month ago, & needed the NPI for Aetna Claims Reimbursement, for $475.00. The Front Desk girl said she could not give it to me, as I was not the patient-- but didn't ask to speak to my husband for permission. (He was sitting 10 Ft away from me). I told her I was also a patient, got mad because of her denial to help me-- and she said "sorry, Amen", and hung up on me! This really infuriated me, so I finally got the phone no. for the Corporate Office, and complained. First of all-- the Manager stated-- NPI nos. are Public Knowledge for insurance. she could have given it to me, except that she didn't know how to retrieve it. Secondly-- I am listed on my husband's HIPPA approval form-- if she would have bothered to checked the patient file on the computer. But, she didn't care! This infuriated me even more! I would not recommend this Aspen Office. They don't listen to what the problem is. The staff doesn't return your phone calls. The receptionist, Ashley, automatically makes assumptions that you are calling for pain medication and doesn't take the time to hear you out. The dental assistants were very kind and helpful, which I was grateful for. I ended having to go to the emergency room to get the right antibiotics for the infection that this dentist office caused. After I advised them I was going to the emergency room, they called me and told they called in 2 prescriptions after I was told by the dentist there was nothing she could do for me. Then they had the audacity to call me again and tell me I will have to come back in to their office or another Aspen office to have my bridge permanently glued on. Are they kidding me? I have spent over $1300 on a bridge and dental work and then $100 emergency room visit. The lack of empathy and concern for the patient is a great concern. read more

The dentist and her assistants were awesome, most comfortable I have been in a dentists chair. It wasn't until after the visit when I met with the "Salesman" that I was unhappy. He was super nice, but very shady about wanting to run my credit without telling me he was going to do so. He was rushing trough it all super fast and a bit confusing that I had to stop him and ask him if he was trying to run my credit. That is when it came out that yes that was the plan. He said he wasn't going to run it, just a preliminary check that wouldn't show up on my credit. Then down the line he said it would. Luckily mine is locked so he wasn't running shit on my credit. Also, the costs are crazy and don't match up with what my insurance says I would pay. read more

Everything was fine until I seen the actual dentist. The dental assistants and receptionist were very warming. The manager Mindy was a kind lady. However, Dr. Ashwani Naidu was rude from the moment of contact. She never greeted me properly. The first thing she asked " are you stressed , you looked stressed." Who are you and Are you a dentist or a therapist? The day of my tooth removal she acted as if she didn't want to do her job causing confrontation because I simply asked her questions. Immediately after removal she left the room. Did not ask if I had any questions or anything. She also waited to send off my antibiotics. I believe she wanted me to suffer because of what personal agenda she had against me. I had to wait 24 hours to get an antibiotic being in excruciating pain bc she wanted to send it off after she had her "lunch". My procedure was done at 10:30 am. What professional dentist waits to send off pain medication after a procedure? A ugly one. read more
