I moved here in dec 2017 and in the beginning, it was a great place to live. Apartments were super clean, brand new, and management was amazing. Toi and Taylor were super friendly, got to know your names, and were quick to help you with whatever you needed. But then, the building got sold to another company and management turned over. With Alliance taking over, it just seemed like all they cared about was the bottom line. I was late one month for rent because it was the holidays and I was out of town. They left me an eviction notice on my front door (a bit over dramatic and uncalled for if you ask me for being late on rent a few days ). I paid it on the 4th (rent is due on the 1st) and asked if they could waive the $75 late fee since it was my first time. I hadn't been late in paying rent in the 12 months that I had been there and I was a good tenant. Sarah seemed understanding and nice initially but gave me a cold response and said that if she did that for me, she would have to do it for everyone else. All the apartments I've lived at before were pretty chill about waiving at least one late fee if you had a history of paying on time. When I decided to move out at the end of my 16 month lease, I needed an extra 10 days before my next place was ready. Once again, Sarah was merciless. Instead of prorating the $2600 monthly rent I had been paying, she said I had to pay the month to month rate, which was upped to an astonishing $4500/month. Utter highway robbery. If you want an apartment that rewards you for being a good tenant or looks at you for more than a dollar sign, avoid this place. Based on recent reviews, it looks like Sarah has left but the other staff weren't all that great or friendly either. read more

I've lived here at Aspect for a year. Location wise, it's a pretty convenient place to be. You have access to freeways, groceries stores, gym, even a club. It's a nice place if you're a yuppie. Parking can be a bit of an issue, but the office ladies are more than willing offer alternative solutions. read more

Job transfers brought us to a new city, with neither of us really familiar with the area. After touring several communities, our initial tour at Alexan Aspect was extensive, by our own choice...we asked a lot of questions, and James showed us a few different apartments (there are several floor plans available). We came away with a great first impression, and stopped our search after touring at Alexan Aspect. Move-in day also went very well. We moved in a couple months ago, and two months in, all our experiences so far have been very good with this community. The leasing office staff are terrific, always friendly, and address our questions promptly. The maintenance crew respond very quickly, and keep the entire community looking great. Community amenities are very well thought out, including a pool with indoor lounge area, a large covered garage, a workout room, a business center (great for telecommuting, yet getting out of the house), a game room with pool table, ping pong, large outdoor barbeque space, and even a dog run with umbrellas for shade, and running water. All securely available to residents of the community. read more

This property went downhill significantly after being acquired by Greystar. The biggest issue is security for the garage & the evening security staff. Prior to Greystar, nightly security included 2 people, one per building. Residents saw them often when walking a dog or venturing out at night. Then Greystar switched security companies & downsized to 1 security person whom I rarely see and when I do, (s)he is often sitting in a car across from the garage, not walking the property. Also, both garages are gated & require key cards to enter. In the east building, the garage door is frequently stuck in the "open" position. It's been a crappy mechanical system for years, however the repair now takes days, with no security staff monitoring the garage at night, & the building "left open to all like a Moroccan fair" as Moira Rose would say, which means anyone from the street can enter the property. This is an issue because the location has experienced higher crime recently. The building shares a parking lot with Burlington Coat Factory and the night club, it's poorly monitored & sometimes there are race cars speeding thru the parking lot on club nights, fireworks going off in the parking lot, etc. Suspicious people hang out at the front of the Burlington Coat Factory entrance at night so if you must be out late walking your dog, be forewarned. Some are regulars - I've seen the same guy try to break into a car, verbally harass a lady passing by, and once try to steal a bike. Also, several residents' cars were broken into while parked in the garage at night; one guy's rims were stolen. There are lots of vagrants here, some are very aggressive. One resident's moving truck was robbed while she was moving into the building - she & movers had left it alone for 10 minutes. Inside the building, some residents are sketchy. One panhandles & another smokes crack around the building & has followed a neighbor to a gas station where he asked the neighbor to buy him cigarettes & gas. Like everywhere, the building has package thieves, some of whom are residents. (I had a delivery stolen by a resident & later found the empty box w/ my name on it in the trash room). People here do look out for one another but we shouldn't have to worry about these things given the high rent we are paying and the security we expected. There are a few bright spots - the maintenance guys & Annie in the office are great, but overall, it doesn't feel safe or secure here & the high rent is not justified. read more

Most people write on Yelp to complain Here's an honest, positive review for Aspect. I've lived in several luxury apartments in the past few years and Aspect is by far my favorite. Sure, there are homeless people roaming around outside and the outside noise is pretty loud if you live by the main street, but I don't mind it at all (the homeless people are harmless). Office staff: Read some of the reviews on here- I bet if you felt like you were treated poorly, I'm sure you weren't pleasant to begin with. I've only had great experiences with the staff here (Hi Veronica! ) and they've been nothing but sweet to me and my husband. Parking: Not an issue at all. We have 1 parking spot and 2 cars- we always find parking for the 2nd car. Security: The security guy always walks around at night and actually does his job. Very nice guy and actually handles issues when you bring them up to him. Maintenance: Very responsive; friendly. Neighbors can be noisy but it depends on who you live next to. Truly happy with our decision to move into this apartment last year. It has seriously been the best experience for both my husband & I. The amenities are awesome and the staff is GREAT! Specifically Jake & Nelson, they are seriously SO HELPFUL & really get the job done. They have made our stay here incredibly pleasant! There are so many details here that make our everyday life so much easier. Our favorite things about the apartment are the dog park & the dog wash station. Everything you never knew you needed + could love SO MUCH. We are very much enjoying our stay here and are happy to be renewing!! read more

I lived in Alexan aspect for one year and moved out about a month ago. I was one of the new people that signed the lease, so I was there when the place wasn't even a quarter way filled in and it was pretty good at first. I loved the sense of security in the beginning of needing the key fob to open most doors-but later on there ended up being a few incidents involving thieves such as tires getting stolen in the parking garage in which Alexan aspect was very open and informative about. Starting off positively: I lived on the fourth floor in one of the loft apartments and the aesthetic was very elegant and nice. The spiral stairs, the high ceilings, the large windows at the loft, it was all beautiful. Everything was brand new since we were the first people to live there. The location is amazing! You're walking distance from target, Walmart, AMC theaters, Costco, multiple gyms, etc. The complex offers a gym (kind of smells like paint in there so I never really went), swimming pool, barbecue area, study area, etc. Karl in staff is freaking hilarious. You'll love him. He always brightened up my day, which is why I feel bad giving a negative review. But here we go... Now onto the negatives: it's a noisy place to live in. There are a bunch of teenagers that sneak into the pool area at 2-3am in the morning on the weekends and they are literally yelling and laughing so loudly being drunk as hell. There were so many times where I wanted to scream at them out of the window. In the parking lot at night you'll find people drinking and smoking weed next to their cars. The smell of marijuana in this apartment complex became a normal thing for me. I smelt it almost everyday whether it was from the neighbors, from the parking lot, wherever. Incahoots does valet and shares the parking lot so they block it off on the weekends. You can hear people down the halls VERY clearly. There was always dog pee in the hallway and sometimes right in front of our door. People always left their trash in front of the trash room or next to the chutes, or even just in the hallways (its only one step further... just throw it away!!) One of my biggest concerns was the mail/packaging situation there. The LUXER system is great but when your package has to go through the front desk, there were many times where there was a problem with it being misplaced. Sometimes the communication was lacking within the lobby. You'll have to follow up with them if you have a problem-I never got a call back to tell me what was going on, you have to initiate the action. It was mostly about packages and they probably never followed up or cared much because they didn't find it important-but I had packages coming in daily. Again... just for awareness, because this is what I watch out for when finding a place to live in-there we're thieve incidents in the past. They sent an email out a few times telling residents to be safe and to guard their belongings, which is helpful. Overall, I give this place 7.5/10. read more

I started my apartment search back in early January , and nothing came close to these apartments ! Veronica from the leasing office was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and made getting my first apartment really easy ! Her presence can literally light up an entire room! I immediately had a good feeling about her, and something that was crucial to me was making sure that the leasing office staff was friendly and actually cared about me as a person. Even after moving in she has been an angel when it comes to responding to any of my needs or questions while I've been a resident. Overall, after about four months now, I love living here. I feel safe and the facilities are kept really clean. They have security guards walking around every night. The apartments themselves are pretty quiet. I hardly ever even see people in the hallways. If you're looking for a place to live in the Fullerton area, I highly recommend. read more

First off, This is probably my first review on Yelp. My experience was that wonderful that I'd like to take the time to express my thanks to Toi who has been nothing short of wonderful. Complex is clean, well maintained, and most importantly brand new. Meaning no one has lived in your unit yet. Which I love. Amenities are well thought out and for the price comparing to most in DTF, this is a prized gem. Not knocking on Wilshire Promenade or Malden Station, but after looking through several other luxury styled apartments, my visit here was the best. They're doing half off the first two months of rent which is nice. Their gym plentiful and even has a toddler play area. Parking is awesome, I had to take an elevator up to my current apartments floors but Alexan has garage levels that lead directly to your floor which is a major plus. If you're looking for a nice place to live, this is it. read more

This place isn't safe anymore, the level of theft is going higher and higher, and there is absolutely no security guy or service around! Our bike and couple other neighbors bikes got stolen from the garage, although they were very well secured with locks and everything! two words.. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Deanna the manager- is AWFUL and UNHELPFUL. She exercises favoritism as well. Unfortunate to see during times like this. Everyone is smoking cigarettes outside so you can't even open your window to get fresh air. People are colliding into each other speeding up and down the parking structure. Cars are being broken into, even though they have one security guard who walks the entire premises. The leasing staff will only do the bare minimum when providing customer service. We complained to the leasing office multiple times regarding loud noisy neighbors and they refuse to provide any resolution or service. After the 5th complaint they tell us that we need "proof" in order for them to do anything. They try to transfer your call around in circles as no one has answers or can address your needs. Due to covid 19, they no longer accept packages delivered to their office, so delivery service will literally dump your package at the entrance of the parking garage where anybody can steal it. read more

I did a tour with Toi and she is amazing! She was super helpful and answered all my questions! Out of all the great things to point out, the main thing to mention so far is safety. Alexan Aspect has numerous amount of cameras in the building so that was a huge plus. So far, I have lived here for about a month and I feel super safe. In addition to the cameras, there are two security guards that walk around at night. It has been almost a month and so far everything is going great. The amenities are new and always clean. I am very satisfied with the appliances in the apartment as well! I will be updating this review as months go on but so far, it has been amazing! read more

Way overpriced for the area! I have noticed constant foot traffic of "Undesirable" looking characters lurking around. On the weekends there are vehicles constantly screeching thier tires in the adjacent parking lots! And lets not forget, the bar that shares the very same parking lot. Prime location with many sites of entertainment (nightlife, eateries, amusement parks) no more than 30 minutes away in all directions. Much appreciation to James for baring with me through email communications. The property is quite nice though small. His receptiveness & patience give an impression that property personnel takes strides in accommodating preferences. However, I did my own research and I don't like the property owner elects to charge $300 to reserve a very small lounge area. Though a full kitchen is available to use, I could (and would prefer) to take my guests to an actual dining or drink serviced venue for that amount of money. I find that expectation unreasonable. read more

Awful management. Dirty hallways, elevators, stairwells, and common areas. Dog owners don't pick up after their animals. So many homeless people around and incredibly loud street noise constantly. Amenities have been poorly managed during the pandemic. Refused to explore the idea of lowering rent since the amenities have been closed most of the year. read more

We Love this community. The management is amazing. Maintenance is exquisite. The amenities are above and beyond resort style. The grounds are kept exceptionally clean by the amazing maintenance team. From the first time I viewed an apartment here I was hooked, the units have nice decor and everything has always been great quality. The AC cools the unit down very quickly and even if we run it for most of the day the bill is not high at all. The security is great, the whole time I have lived here I never had any issue with break ins in the parking garage or my unit. The sound proofing in the unit is great I never hear anything when the place is closed up even when the club near by is busy. The amenities here are nice the gym has a nice selection including free weights, the pool is very spacious and clean, and there are nice additions in the pool area and the courtyard such as outdoor TVs, bbqs, and loungers if you just want some air and a nap. The pool area also has a large jacuzzi and a long gas fueled fire pit. The managers and maintenance people are always super cool, and have always been helpful with anything we need. Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new home. read more

We'd living here for almost 3 months and besides of lack of cleaning and maintenance to the common areas we been robbed 3 times in 2 weeks so far, packages are taken right from my door, someone broke-in my car at the garage, I informed every time to the administration same answer "tell the delivery guy to take precautions, roll up your window and buy a Ring camera they are only $60".... they just dont care. I DO RECOGNIZE my part in all this, but is just not fear believe me I am not a picky person, most of the times I dont even complain about anything but My wife and I work very hard to give the best to our son , this rent is not cheap at all , I do online business and I lost over $5,000 worth merchandise and I cant tell my clients "sorry I got robbed you wont get either your products or money back" and by the end of the month rent is comming and guess what?? I cant say "Sorry I cant do anything for your business, why you just roll up your windows and take precautions " ..the spaces are beatiful thats true , but its just not safe or secure for my family, Unfortunately I am stick to this year contract, until that Ill just keep working hard hopping nobody takes away what we honestly earned. I lived in Alexan Aspect for one year and I can't wait my end of the contract day. As other reviewer wrote unsafety issue, noise issue from thin wall and window, etc. I have same issues from them too. When the management has been changed, their maintenance was getting worst. Even the dog dung was in the wall way, no one clean up until it dries up or someone steps on the dung. And residents...some neighbors have party until 2-3 a.m., some put their trash bags into the hall, some throw up and don't clean up, some do not clean their pets' poo or pee in the public area, and some smoke in the hallway or in the parking lot even though this apartment is non-smoking building. Honestly,I don't want to recommend this apartment to anyone. read more

My fiancé and I just moved in a few weeks ago. We love our new apartment! Everything is brand new, and the layout is very modern. The complex is walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and grocery stores, also close to the packing district and downtown Fullerton. The complex is also pet friendly. I recommend working with Toi, the leasing agent. She is very sweet and genuinely cares. She really listened to our concerns, and was prompt in resolving any issues we had. Poor management. While signing a lease for our college age son, Veronica asked if we would be the guarantor for entire apartment, we declined stating we were only signing for our son. We never signed a document to this effect either. Upon breaking the lease early secondary to COVID-19 we see our name listed as lease guarantor. Deceptive, difficult to communicate with, and not a good experience. read more
