2nd time coming for lunch and everything is perfect. Service is excellent and food is flavorful but not salty. Highly recommended.

Roast pernil lunch.

Review of a Tuesday lunch. The place was fairly empty, but I was not deterred. It's clean and bright, and the decor is a major upgrade from the previous tenant. The lunch crowd came later. I started with a passion fruit juice, which was pleasant enough. I ordered the roast pernil lunch. This arrived with yellow rice, soupy black beans and some sweet plantains. The meat was tender and generally moist. I wouldn't have minded a bit of the pan juices. Service was excellent, and the host Santiago was charming. I'll be back.

Really disappointed in my experience here. We came for lunch afternoon and the service was insanely slow. It took 30 minutes to get our food and it was very difficult communicating with the staff when asking how much longer it would be. The ordering was also quite confusing as some people came in and seemed to order from the front buffet looking area and immediately got to eat. We however, sat down and ordered, and saw some of the food being prepared from this same area, but it took 30 mins to be served. Very confusing. We ordered the chicken soup and fried chicken with rice and beans. The soup was good, but I wasn't excited to have to pick through bones/it was difficult to do in a soup. The fried chicken was also fine, but I expected it to be with some sort of sauce or something? It's nothing at all what I was expecting and pretty dry. We asked for black beans and got pinto, but they were fine. Honestly I wouldn't go back.

Real Dominican food where Dominicans eat. They use organic rice and barely use any oil on the meat. Best Dominican spot in white plains imo.

I came here after placing my order over the phone because this was the only restaurant in my area…read morethat had mofongo. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted by the hostess/server. The inside of the restaurant is decently sized, clean, and even has a space where you can host a DJ, which is a nice touch. There was a slight language barrier, but it wasn't a big issue. I waited about 5-10 minutes for my to-go order since the hostess/server was the only one working outside of the kitchen staff. I ordered the MOFONGO MIXTO (Mixed Mofongo), which is crispy green plantains mashed with garlic and olive oil, paired with chicharrón, chicken, or cheese. It was solid--rich, tasty, and especially delicious with the salsa blanco, which was creamy and garlicky. That sauce was a first for me, and I loved it! While I've had mofongo that included rice and beans elsewhere, this version stood on its own nicely. A couple of notes: parking is a bit challenging, and I'd recommend placing your order through an app to help navigate any potential language barriers. Overall, a good experience, and I'd definitely give it another shot!

It is a family run establishment and having just opened, the place is super clean and super modern. There is a good amount of seating, so they can accommodate a large group easily. They are open late and on certain days, they have a DJ and the place turns into a club. The food was extremely fresh and is home cooked style. The chivo guisado was extremely juicy and the meat was so tender - falling off the bone. The pico pollo was great too and very well seasoned. Portions sizes were generous with very reasonable prices too. The staff are very friendly too. It's a nice place to come and enjoy some authentic Dominican food with some bottles of Presidente or cocktails. I recommend giving them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Came through the main doors, into a nice entrance with a nice illuminated chandelier and mood lighting to greet you. I wait and was directed in. The aesthetic of the main entrance, to the walk way passing the first bar and restaurant area is nice. But once you get into the dance floor you loose a little bit of it. Since it's usually dark there you don't notice it. But when you get to the second bar area, you pick it back up in my opinion. I have been here a few times before the food isn't bad, portion sizes are descent and the drinks are typically good. Every thing even before the pandemic and especially now is just a little over priced in my opinion for what you get. I did have drink specials and when that was over they went to a happy-hour, cash only bar without really any notice or heads up which I didn't like. Because I didn't have cash. They do have an ATM on the premise from what I was told. I might come back here with a group again, but not by myself. Especially there are several cheaper options in whiteplains and neighboring towns like portchester.

Rene and his mom are very courteous and always on the floor making sure you have a good experience. Im telling you you have to come out here. Try a buffet style spanish brunch and also come up for a friday or Saturday night of Fun. Im sure you will enjoy it. FYI they have night club on the other side so come for dinner stay for the party!

The bar in the front was busy but the dining room was pretty empty so we were able to choose our table. First thing that stood out to me was the cute vibes of the place. The art work on the walls and different backdrops- great for a photo session. We were given two paper menus and an iPad with photos of the food. That was pretty cool, especially for someone like me who likes to see photos of the food I'm eating before I even choose a restaurant. Service was fine and staff were friendly however the wait time for our food especially in an empty dining room took a while. Now, the food was AMAZING. We ordered Cuba Tabaco y Ron (Latino eggrolls) as an app - SO good. We got a Lomo Sushi Roll to share, which was tasty. I got the Roasted Pernil and my husband got the Honey Glazed Salmon. Both were delicious and filling. Would definitely check this place out if you enjoy Latin fusion food. It's such a cute and romantic place. I will say I got a headache from the red lights above us, I wish there would have been more clear lighting at the table but regardless this is a place to check out.
