I've been through three other schools previously who nickeled and dimed me every time I walked in or so that's how it felt. Other schools also did not foster a sense of team and belonging. Level Up offers a quality traditional Korean taekwondo program and a true sense of camaraderie amongst parents, students and siblings, making it a true family sport. They also offer more a more specialized poomsae program than most other schools. We parents spend countless hours at the studio. All of these details have been well though out. The studio has wireless so you can get some work done. They also have a coffee and tea bar and a sibling area stocked with toys, books and computers. It's an amazing customer service experience and immaculately clean. We won't train anywhere else!!

It was going to be a team-building exercise on an important topic but you all know that "team building" can be boring or cheesy, and that employees might check out mentally when these exercises are poorly executed. Well, checking out was not possible with Philip's hands-on, dynamic, and expert instruction. What we got was a great lesson in awareness of our environment and techniques that even people with slighter builds can use to protect themselves in dangerous situations. He incorporated stories from his extensive experience teaching military personnel, police officers, and regular folks from his days back in Paris. The stories stick with you and serve as a way to bridge new information to your own situation. Every employee walked away impressed and feeling more prepared, and with a better understanding of krav maga. His group classes are worth it- check them out, too!

I love that we do weights during class, I love the designated towels, and assigned bikes! They are very comfortable and smooth. Tons of upgrades. Omar is organized and timely, which I think is great for business. My biggest enjoyment is attending 80's and 90's rides as I can push through to my favorite songs! I've taken cycling classes at a number of studios/gyms and VirtuRide is one of my favorites!…read more I came across VirtuRide on ClassPass - I signed up for a class a few months ago and it was canceled. I was disappointed about it - but finally had another class that fit into my schedule and had another chance to take a class! I signed up for the Southern California Back Row class - essentially everyone is in the same class - front row is the row closest to the instructor (also has bikes that move a little more). Back row is on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th row of bikes - and bikes still have a good range of movement. I really like the bikes further back, but that's my preference. I arrived about 15 minutes prior to class starting to sign paperwork and get setup with my heart rate monitor and get setup on the bike. They also have a set of lockers - you just have to provide them with your ID - they hang on to it and give it back to you when you give them the lock when you leave. When you go into the cycling room, the bikes are pre-set up for you based on your height you provide to them. And you have a few minutes to warm up on the bike prior to class starting. I took class with Omer, and he came in and gave me a brief introduction on the bike prior to class starting, and we had a brief warmup and then got into the workout. It's a little strange at first to feel the bike platform moving - but then you get used to it and it's a great core workout! I burned 1150 calories during my session - probably the most I've ever burned in a cycling class! Throughout the class, you have beautiful scenery and mixes in music videos as well. It's a very fun class, and I recommend it to anyone who loves cycling!
