I have been attending virturide before the pandemic and I can say all of the precautions taken since the onset of Covid have me feeling safe and focused on the enjoyment of my ride. I love that we do weights during class, I love the designated towels, and assigned bikes! They are very comfortable and smooth. Tons of upgrades. Omar is organized and timely, which I think is great for business. My biggest enjoyment is attending 80's and 90's rides as I can push through to my favorite songs! Really makes the workout enjoyable. Where else can you burn 600 calories in 60 minutes??!!!! Impossible anywhere else! What makes class personally special for me is that I'm from California and taking class reminds me of home when we are riding to California scenery. read more

I've taken cycling classes at a number of studios/gyms and VirtuRide is one of my favorites! I came across VirtuRide on ClassPass - I signed up for a class a few months ago and it was canceled. I was disappointed about it - but finally had another class that fit into my schedule and had another chance to take a class! I signed up for the Southern California Back Row class - essentially everyone is in the same class - front row is the row closest to the instructor (also has bikes that move a little more). Back row is on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th row of bikes - and bikes still have a good range of movement. I really like the bikes further back, but that's my preference. I arrived about 15 minutes prior to class starting to sign paperwork and get setup with my heart rate monitor and get setup on the bike. They also have a set of lockers - you just have to provide them with your ID - they hang on to it and give it back to you when you give them the lock when you leave. When you go into the cycling room, the bikes are pre-set up for you based on your height you provide to them. And you have a few minutes to warm up on the bike prior to class starting. I took class with Omer, and he came in and gave me a brief introduction on the bike prior to class starting, and we had a brief warmup and then got into the workout. It's a little strange at first to feel the bike platform moving - but then you get used to it and it's a great core workout! I burned 1150 calories during my session - probably the most I've ever burned in a cycling class! Throughout the class, you have beautiful scenery and mixes in music videos as well. It's a very fun class, and I recommend it to anyone who loves cycling! read more

Really, Really the "best ride ever" experience , don't believe me ? come and try it for yourself. I don't go to gyms, I like outside workouts, I ride outdoors and I have never come to an indoor cycling studio before, but this is a new cycling experience like no other. This was a "trip" for me. They take you traveling around the best USA roads projected on the screen, riding with the wind with an in-sync moving platform feeling the ride and the amazing music going with it in a flowing increasing rhythm, while doing a cardio workout and burning calories in an intense, non-stop, change of Rhythms to make the best experience out of it. I loved it!!!! The instructor takes you to experience your unlimited force but you are in control of your own workout. I would never thought of coming to a close indoor environment to experience this!!! Right now this is the only cycling studio open in Miami, it is a healthy and safe environment studio ( disinfecting before and after every class), temperature and blood oxygen check-ups upon arrival and social-distant placements. Otherwise I would have never come. You can also book them On-Demand right now if you don't want to come to the studio and have a full quick workout!! You are the main character inside a virtual movie riding across amazing roads of United States, unique rides ( Utah, Colorado, Oregon, Arizona, Lake Tahoe, Nevada, California) in a moving platform with a fan that makes you feel you are "right there" while listening and riding to the best music compilations that makes you fly, while burning calories and having a cardio workout in an intense, non-stop releasing of endorphins workout that gives you the best exercise high ever! You can also monitor your heart and calories burning while riding ! It's awesome!!! I don't usually write reviews, but this experience is for you to try at least once so you can "feel" what I am talking about . So if you are one of those adrenaline, endorphins and new experiences junkie, book and Enjoy this Ride! You can thank me later! www.virturide.com read more

Usually spinning is one of my least favorite activities. Starting with the bikes that hurt my feet to the seats which hurt my butt. But this was a different experience. If you are into cycling you must try and most definitely going to love it. First of all the lady in the front, super friendly and as soon as I walked in she called me by name. What a customer service. She got me ready for the class (heart monitor). As soon as I set on the bike first come to mind hmmm this seats are much nicer and comfy actually. Don't think it's a couch like feel seats but it was okay even without bikers shorts and shoes. Next thing when we actually started to ride and the platform moved, I freaked out (nobody noticed) and it gave that different experience from the ride. I love the music videos, trip videos and the music. I swear I felt like I went to the club! The instructor was very cool and it was easy to follow his instructions, unlike in other spinning classes when I don't know what intensity to use. I will definitely going to try this class again and again and recommend to anyone who loves cycling read more

I purchased a Groupon and was emailing to reserve classes. However, the noon class on Saturday was cancelled (my girlfriend who is a member had told me) and often gets cancelled as the place does not have more than 5 riders signing up for certain times. I then tried to sign up for 8:15pm on Mondays, but was emailed that this class ALSO gets "cancelled" and to choose another time. It behooves me why these class times are publicly posted on the online schedule if they are not being offered, especially when people purchase classes dependent on times they can attend. I work an average 9-6ish pm weekdays (therefore cannot attend the day-time times or 7pm class as I may not be able to change clothes/prepare in time for the class). I received this horrible customer service email attached, when I informed them that their online schedule was misleading and that they should take those times down if they don't offer them. If they need more patrons to attend, this is not the way to treat a customer who is a prospective client. They also insulted Groupon and me, but yet are ON GROUPON and need more patrons (?): "...you are a groupon low rate promo client." As well as "So please try to accommodate yourself to our times if you really want to see what VirtuRide is all about." - OUR TIMES, as in, you should post on your online schedule what ACTUAL times are available and take off the times you cancel or don't want people attending. UPDATE: VirtuRide sent me *another* nasty email for leaving this accurate review. Extremely unprofessional company...They wrote I am "under our red flag section and you are officially on our 'Entrance Forbidden' list for life" for posting a review. I am suggesting posting class times that are legit so that people can make informed decisions when they purchase a Groupon/classes, but apparently they don't believe it's important that you know the schedule. Basically, they are falsely advertising certain classes that they never have. The schedule online should be edited. Be warned since your classes will just get cancelled. And such a rude and not positive environment they must be in to write such nasty emails. Why would anyone want to work out with this negative energy... read more

Holy. Ish. I took this class about a week ago and am still amazed I made it alive. Lets start with the basics, this studio is on a back road and a little hidden, so definitely give yourself enough time to get there. First ride is free and they also provide shoes, towels, and a heart monitor so you can see how well (or shitty) you did. The ride? Wow. Mind blown. The owner (who is SO nice) basically invented a bike that truly mimics the way would ride on a road with curves and climbs. Wind in your face and all. As I was struggling through the "warm up" and staring at the beautiful scenery that was the Biscayne Bay Bridge, it dawned on me that even though I've been spinning for years, I haven't actually ridden a bike in a very. long. time. VirtuRide literally makes you feel like your climbing up that bridge. Not like adding a few turns for resistance at a regular studio. When you feel the bike moving and you stare at the screen its like you're both visually and physically going up that bridge. Honestly, its incredible. Super challenging and engages your entire body. This class KICKED MY ASS and even though i thought I might die most of the time, when it was done i felt like a major badass. Especially after getting that email that told me I burned 649 calories in 45 minutes. SAY WHAAAAT?! Will definitely come again and bring friends to torture with me! read more

This place is awesome, i go regularly to indoor cycling classes in los angeles, I heard about Virturide wile on a business trip in miami and let me tell ya, these guys took indoor cycling to a whole different level. the studio has a hugh screen displaying beautiful roads while you drive to pumping music, but the game changer is this, the bikes are moving , turning with the road you are watching, your bike is actually MOVING and wind is blowing in your face. I have no words VirtuRide, this was an amazing experience, i just wish you had one in LA :( read more

I just tried Virturide for the first time. It is an amazing and unique twist on indoor cycling--the studio has moving bikes that are synchronized with road videos projected in front of you on a mega-screen. I almost felt like I was really in Sedona, riding along Route 66 to Monument Valley and then down the Apache trail. I can't wait to try the New Mexico and Nevada rides. The owner Omer was also my instructor and his class was both an intense workout and fun (also a great selection of music compared to most other fitness classes in my opinion). Definitely give this class a try if you're in the Miami area. read more

I tried VirtuRide today because I was getting bored in normal spin classes. This work out was anything but boring! It was so much fun and exciting. There was music videos playing and you also ride your bike down virtual beautiful scenic roads. You have the option to have your bike move along the roads or keep it stationary. I burned close to 600 calories!! I would highly suggest this place to anyone looking for a fun and high energy workout! read more

Hands down the bikes mounting platform moving as you cycle is a cool concept, high energy, large screen volleying from the geographical location to upbeat music videos. read more

I first stumbled into this gem at the beginning of the year. One of my new year's resolutions for this year was to add some cardio to my workout routine because I knew that hot yoga alone was not going to cut it for my fitness goals. So, what to do for cardio when you've blown out both of your knees, and you have a tibia graft, and running is out of the question -swimming? Nope, I pay too much money to be a fake blonde to ruin the hair with chlorine. The simple answer - biking...wait, nope! I have recurring nightmares that I am run over by a garbage truck while riding a bike...so, no! Next best thing - spinning [big groan...not the hell loop!]. So, I started researching infernos (spinning studios), and as suspected I got bored quickly, not challenging enough, horrible music, and looking at the instructor and mirror for an entire hour can lead to some insane thoughts out of boredom. I was about to give up, when I stumbled upon Virturide. First thing, I noticed when I walked in is that the place smells amazing, my next stop...restroom - the restroom was spotless. Front of the house - incredibly neat and organized. If you managed to reserve your spot with ample time, you are going to find a cubbyhole with your name on it with a towel and spinning shoes waiting for you. Nice detail! The actual spinning studio is separate from the lobby and the locker room. You go through a set of double doors and there's a giant movie screen, and two separate TV screens, where you can see your heart rate, if you rent their heart monitor. I noticed that the bikes were propped up on a platform, and each bike has a nice sizeable floor fan in front of it facing the rider. There are about only 20 bikes nicely spaced, so you do not smell the person next to you....YAS! After noticing all these details, my first thought was "great a giant movie screen so I can see myself and my rolls for an hour." The second thought was ha, a fan! That's ambitious thinking that you can make me sweat...bah! Third thought: "what's with the platform?" At this point, I was still skeptical, so I totally ignored the instructions that the instructor gave for the new comers (me)...soon enough, I came to discover/experience that the great giant movie screen plays the most amazing breathtaking scenic routes that I've seen in a long time - I've actually considered getting over the fear of riding outside. Remember the platform? The platform moves in tandem with the road that you are seeing on the screen (right, left, up, down), which made me wish I paid attention to the initial instructions because I thought I was having a stroke when the bike started to move. The fans...boy did I sweat and was I grateful for the fan in front of my bike...I have no words to describe how freaking awesome and challenging this class was - I was impressed...the fact that I burned 750 calories, just like the instructor promised totally hooked me. The playlist was excellent too. After that first good experience, and prior to committing to a monthly recurring membership, I purchased a couple of five sessions packages, just to see whether the experience will remain consistently and reliably good...and it did, so I went ahead and purchased the monthly membership (I have a bridesmaid dress to fit into this summer, so pedal baby, pedal). Couple of pointers: Don't show up hungover...you will regret it!!!! Make sure your water bottle fits in the bottle holder that comes with the bike...absolutely no water bottles on the floor or on platform. The class starts ON TIME...not Miami time, but ON TIME...got it? OK. Once the class begins, there's no rolling in 10 minutes later or five, studio is locked, so no interlopers or inveterate unpunctual people. Much respect for that to the instructor/owner. If you are one of those that likes to bring your gal pal, and you think you can jabber during class this is not the studio for you, politely but firmly you will be asked to stop that...big kudos for that! Enjoy the Ride!!! read more

I visited Virturide a couple months ago, while in FL for a tradeshow. All I can say is that I wish we had one down here in Southern California. It was SO cool the way the bikes move like you're on a real road and the music was great. The fans even are timed as you're going up or down wind. Omer is very nice and genuinely cares that his clients have a great experience. I will be back the next time I'm in town - highly recommended! read more

Pretty amazing experience. Bikes that move seriously help you get a core workout that you don't even realize your getting. Owners are very friendly, music is motivating, free shoe rentals, amazing interior, open, inviting, be sure to use googlemaps instead of waze, waze won't get you there. What an amazing experience! Virturide is way more fun, interesting, and challenging than flywheel or soulcycle. You get to bike different paths across the country that are filmed using a go-pro and the bikes move along the roads (up, down, left, and right) just as if you were actually there. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable and instructors make the workout exciting! read more

Great place and great work out! I already recommended virturide to all my friends and co workers.

This makes the spin workout a blast. The videos are great and the motion of the bikes makes the ride more realistic and a lot more fun. The different choices of locations for the ride is great, no more boring rides in a spinning class. This spinning class was probably the closest you get to the real road ride! I liked that bike was attached to a moving platform, so you really get the feel of following the road on the screen. Oh, yes! There is a huge TV screen in front of you, and many choices of scenery and music! The instructor will guide you through the whole workout. Very clean and inviting environment. What a great experience. Omer, the owner, was so nice. He immediately makes you feel comfortable. He designed an amazing studio. Like nothing I've been to in Miami. You watch a huge screen of actual road terrain and scenery (which is stunningly beautiful landscape). And the bike actually mimics what you are watching. Tilts right when the road curves right. Goes up when then screen shows you going uphill. So cool. What a workout. Omer gives you gentle nudges to spur you on, and he is having such a good time that you smile and pedal harder. I really enjoyed the experience and recommend it to anybody looking for a great spinning class and workout. read more

Went for the first time on Sunday. I usually do Flywheel but saw these guys on my class pass and decided to give them a try. The bikes are mounted on moving platforms that the instructor mentioned helps work your core a lot more than stationary biked. I thought was a big selling point. Also, there is a big screen and great music to entertain. A lot fun. I go back and consider working them into my routine. read more

Yesterday I had an INCREDIBLE & UNIQUE experience at VirtuRide cycling studio. If you live in the Miami/Miami Beach area - this is a 'must try'! Imagine a cool, reminiscent of chic NYC industrial type looking studio where your bikes are mounted on special platforms and actually move in all directions. Now that's a new kind of a ride! The bikes face a huge screen that shows actual street view routes in some of the most beautiful parts of the world, almost transporting you to that location. You actually feel like you are right there! Today we were riding through the pacific coast of California. Gorgeous views! I just had my first experience with VirtuRide in Miami and I loved it! The concept is very unique and amazing! I've been training for triathlons for a few years and always wanted to find the perfect option for an indoor cycling training. THIS IS IT! The experience is like nothing you've seen before. Forget about your ordinary spinning class. At VirtuRide there's a huge screen in front of you with amazing scenery (real routes from around the world) and music, our bikes are on a platform that moves accordingly to the scenery, there's a fan blowing on your face simulating the wind going uphill, the surround sound system is incredible, you wear a heart rate monitor provided by them and there are TV screens with your name and your heart rate on them to help you stay in your most efficient zone in order to burn more calories. You get a killer workout while having fun... Time flies by during the class and at the end you will be feeling like coming back for more the next day.
