I love Kickfit. I take Krav Maga and I've been going there for 7+ years. It is always challenging…read more(you get a good workout) all while learning and perfecting self-defense techniques. All the instructors are kind and professional.

Scam artists and masters of the bait and switch! Stay away, stay far far away from this place…read more My girlfriend brought her daughter in for the trial packaged that was advertised as a 2 week trial, after 2 classes Parker told her he would make a special rate for her, and put together a "custom package" for her, that he then did not honor after her daughter had already started to feel comfortable coming to studio. She asked to talk to the owner, not sure if we did or if we got another employee, who said "I am the owner" and never gave his name and he went on to berate her and tell her he would not honor the price Parker gave us. I personally called myself and told Parker I wanted to sign up and he would not give me a price or a trial membership. I have never seen such high levels of deceit in my life, especially around something that requires honor and respect like martial arts. This is just another south Florida scam, the man who claims to be the owner spoke to my girlfriend in a way that no man should speak to a woman, and definitely not anyone I would want around my children. We frequently go to other places in the plaza and spoke to other partners getting food next door, who shook their head and were like yeah, that's Parker for you.... So sad, our daughter became collateral damage of the bait and switch scam they run, like they can't even tell us a program price over the phone? Find a more honorable studio to teach something like martial arts that requires honor.

I strongly advise parents to get every single mandatory fee in writing before signing a contract…read morehere. Upon enrollment, they ask for a positive review for a discount--reviews should be done voluntarily. I prepaid $1,026 in full for a 6-month membership for my 10-year-old son. We fully expected to pay for standard belt testing. However, after paying $140 for his green belt test and the belt itself, we were immediately hit with an undisclosed, mandatory $430 bill for a new uniform and their specific brand of sparring gear.  None of this mandatory $430 expense was disclosed as a requirement to continue training when we signed our prepaid contract just a few months prior. Because we refused to be nickel-and-dimed and pay a surprise $430 ransom just so my son could continue using the membership we already paid for, we had to leave the school. My son's feelings were incredibly hurt, and his brand new belt is just sitting on his desk. To make matters worse, the school is currently refusing to issue a prorated refund for the remaining 4.5 months of unused tuition, effectively keeping hundreds of dollars for services they will not be providing. I have formally filed complaints with the Florida Department of Agriculture (FDACS) and the Better Business Bureau regarding these deceptive billing practices. Parents, please beware and read the fine print Addendum regarding deceptive marketing practices: In addition to the undisclosed mandatory fees, this business actively engages in deceptive online marketing. I have attached a text message directly from the business offering me a financial discount in exchange for leaving them a positive online review. This violates FTC guidelines regarding incentivized reviews and demonstrates a broader pattern of deceptive business practices used to mislead consumers about the true cost and quality of their program.

I definitely recommend this location and academy to any parent, regardless of the child's age and gender.
