This is an AWESOME local martial arts school. The instructor is great with kids, has great summer…read morecamp activities, does killer workouts for adults and has a group of athletes who are interested in competing in tournaments, National, etc. He meets the individual where they are in their training and pushes them when he sees their skills increasing. What makes this a great school is the level of training the instructor offers. Not only does he have experience in Taekwondo, but he also has experience in Karate. When you feel discouraged in working out or training, he motivates you to keep going! This school will increase your motivation to workout, learn new skills, or lose a couple of pounds in the kickboxing class for adults. Team training is in Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm. There is a sense of respect and camraderie among the kids, and between the kids and the instructors. My son has changed immensely since he joined the aftercare program. Aftercare in his school was not a pleasant experience, expecting him to sit still for 4 hours was not fun or productive. Here, he has fun and can relax but also has homework and learns from kids older than him. It is an important outlet for him, and quiet frankly for me too because the kids really listen to the Sensei even when they don't want to listen to parents. Sensei has a way of communicating that works and makes my son listen outside of the dojo. I highly recommend this place.

I'm sorry to say, but my son's class was supposed to test for belt promotion and they were denied because many students didn't show up in the correct uniform. The students must wait until their sensei schedules another testing opportunity. They have a smoothie bar inside, i haven't tried it yet. My son enjoys their training program very much. Level Up offers a quality traditional Korean taekwondo program and a true sense of camaraderie amongst parents, students and siblings, making it a true family sport. They also offer more a more specialized poomsae program than most other schools. We parents spend countless hours at the studio. All of these details have been well though out. Stay away, stay far far away from this place…read more My girlfriend brought her daughter in for the trial packaged that was advertised as a 2 week trial, after 2 classes Parker told her he would make a special rate for her, and put together a "custom package" for her, that he then did not honor after her daughter had already started to feel comfortable coming to studio. She asked to talk to the owner, not sure if we did or if we got another employee, who said "I am the owner" and never gave his name and he went on to berate her and tell her he would not honor the price Parker gave us. I personally called myself and told Parker I wanted to sign up and he would not give me a price or a trial membership. I have never seen such high levels of deceit in my life, especially around something that requires honor and respect like martial arts. This is just another south Florida scam, the man who claims to be the owner spoke to my girlfriend in a way that no man should speak to a woman, and definitely not anyone I would want around my children. We frequently go to other places in the plaza and spoke to other partners getting food next door, who shook their head and were like yeah, that's Parker for you.... So sad, our daughter became collateral damage of the bait and switch scam they run, like they can't even tell us a program price over the phone? Find a more honorable studio to teach something like martial arts that requires honor.
