I took a few group classes at other gym and I was building bad habits so I contacted Mario to get them fixed.

By far, my favorite workout. Originally found this place through Groupon(3 classes AND free gloves…read morefor $20) and I quickly became a member because the workouts are very addicting. I've been a member for almost two years now and I will keep coming back because every kickboxing workout is different. The instructors are all great and each puts their own unique spin on whatever part of the body you work out that day. I will say that at the beginning, it was hard but with multiple classes(and as a member, I can go to as many classes as I want) and with help from the instructors on how to correctly perform each move, I have gotten more confident in my workout. Each workout for kickboxing is around an hour long and features high intensity music to keep you going. You start with a warm-up, do some combos, and finish off with a killer speed round. It may be in a group setting but you definitely get one on one time with the instructor when you can't figure out the combo or how to do the exercise. The atmosphere of this place is always great. Very welcoming and the instructors get to know you. Even if you are unsure of going by yourself, you'll find the other members are all easy to get to know and in the same sweaty boat as you at the end of the class. Class times are mornings or night times(Afternoons too on certain days). Very flexible for people with full time jobs like myself. As a member I'm also able to take other classes such as Muy Thai or Jui Jitsu. If I'm feeling like I want to learn more technique or just get a sweaty workout in, I definitely have options. This place is the best, highly recommend.

Great environment to develop your skills. All the trainers are willing to help you learn.read more

Been going here since 2024 Q4…read more This is a muay thai/boxing gym that caters from beginners looking to get in shape to those who actually get into the ring/octagon. I'm the former and take the Pads and Bags classes and the Boxing classes they offer in the mornings. It's hard work but is super rewarding and a fun way to get in shape. Don't think this is something you need to already be in shape for. They also have more advanced classes as well as classes that are for everyone but more physical. Aside from that they have a kids class that happens on Saturdays and a crew of fighters who sometimes will be taking the classes you're in. Everyone is super nice regardless of their skill level and those with more skill are very helpful either way. Both coaches that run the classes I've been in (Guerby and Ryan) are super patient and amazing at what they do. If you have an injury or limitation of some kind, they'll give you alternatives. But don't think they'll make it easy! This is a workout either way. Place is cleaned after every class top/down and parking there is super convenient. First class is free so trying out is risk free. After that you can sign up to any of their membership offerings or one off classes. (Some of their classes are available via class pass too!)

BEWARE!! My experience with BASE Martial Arts. Signed up…read moreboth our sons to this school and quickly found out this was a mistake. The coaches have no respect or integrity with their students or the sport. I have witnessed them downgrade kids belts before a competition (they did it to my son). When confronted, all they care about is WINNING, no matter the cost. They are more worried about themselves than with the actual members of the gym. They also lie about the age of the competitors. According to Article 5- Registration subsection 5.9 of the rules, in the IBJJF Rule Book, pertaining to the rules and regulations governing specific aspects of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Under this subsection "once and athletes graduation occurs, he cannot compete at his previous belt anymore." BASE Martial Arts does NOT follow these guidelines and forced my son to do this in TWO competitions. When confronted, their reply was "we run the show here". ALSO BEWARE: if you aren't legal in this country, DONT even think about leaving this gym, or the coaches will (and have) called immigration on you. We have seen this happen and it absurd how leaders of a gym can do these things. The gym itself is poorly maintained. The mats are dirty, and the place is run down. This school is all about winning, with no regards to the essence of the BJJ community. ASK AROUND ABOUT THIS GYM. BEWARE: When you leave this gym, they continue to run your Credit Card months and months after they tell you they canceled your account. The list goes on and on but to make a long story short, there are PLENTY of quality BJJ gyms in the area, why go to a place full of drama and egotistical coaches who only see dollar signs and gold medals??? Very disappointed parents and kids here, wish we could give them a ZERO stars but unfortunately 1 is the minimum. CUIDADO!!
