Here is another, more detailed one!! *** I really wanted to love this place! I love Asian food and was looking forward to having a fantastic restaurant close to me! I visited Asian Star and my experience was awful. The food left a lot to be desired and so did the atmosphere and customer service. If I could give it .5 stars, I would. I ordered fried rice which wasn't very flavorful and the rice seemed a bit over cooked. I also ordered a couple of sushi rolls and cheese wontons. The sushi didn't seem very fresh and the cream cheese wontons were very greasy. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Customer service was great but the food was horrible. I tried to eat as much as I could, but couldn't even eat half of it! From time to time, when I save enough to venture out to try a new local eatery, I tend to do so. Well this is not it. I was in the mood for Chinese food and went here. Whew, never again. Arrived within 15 mins of calling in order and it was ready. Checkout was smooth- cashier didn't know if ApplePay worked- meh - not a deal breaker but I have another place that does. Asked for spicy mustard and she tossed it in no problem. Overall: Not a bad place at all. I had Pad Thai, medium spicy. My husband ordered Kung Pao Chicken, also medium spicy. Mine was excellent, amazing flavor, but what I would consider very spicy. The flavor was so good however that I downed a couple drinks and powered through. My husband though, wasn't able to take more than a couple bites and he tolerates spicy more than I. We bought takeout and the service was timely and friendly. The food was pretty good and it bears mention that the menu has a lot of variety. There's traditional Americanized Chinese food as well as a large sushi menu. I got the General Tso's Chicken and it was great. I'll be going back Update! We have learned to love their sushi menu. Yum! Yum! Yummy is what my tummy said today when my dinner was served today! My hunny and I were treated like royal guest and our food was oh so tasty! I ordered the hibachi style meal with shrimp and scallops. It came with zucchini, squash, onions, carrots, mushrooms etc. Everything was cooked perfectly and delightfully seasoned. My hunny ordered Szechuan shrimp and small order of shrimp fried rice. Of course I sampled his food and it was quite tasty! Szechuan style food is usually too spicy for my taste buds but today it was spicy and almost bearable for the girl who can't handle spicy anything. Tommy is so nice and he brought out his own special style of sushi that was deelish! We were also served a nice plate of delicious watermelon that was sweet, perfectly ripe and we enjoyed every bite! Pretty good! First time and we called in for take out. It was ready in ten minutes. This place must mostly do take outs because it's never busy when we drive by. It's clean and the food is good. Don't expect much personality or small talk from any employee but the food is good. We ordered two spring rolls, Szechuan Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Beef and Broccoli, all with fried rice. It came out to $35 then we used the Yelp Coupon to bring it down a bit. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is your average. The Beef and Broccoli was pretty good. My favorite was the Szechuan Chicken. It was supposedly spicy based on the menu but it wasn't something I would worry about. If you're like me and like spicy you will probably love it and wish it was a tad more spicy or think it was just enough to not over take the rest of your meal. Might not matter to some but I like their quality packaging for storing in the fridge because LEFTOVERS!! Duh. Good place for take out every once in awhile. Will return. read more

Sushi is FIRE. I live in walking distance and it's great. Not a fan of the rice, I like mine more done. The Lo Mein (I've only had the beef) is BOMB. Crab Rangoons spot on. Dumplings - both fried and steamed - I order every time. Good stuff and consistent. They deliver! You do not pay $5 online fee if you call in. Sometimes it's hard to get through, keep trying. They are fast. I thought I had pics... it's that good. I forget to take pics when I start opening the plastic boxes. I do wish they would switch to the waxed cardboard. Plastic is a waste. read more

Who knew Chinese food delivery was a thing?! I didn't until this place and I've now ordered delivery from them multiple times. I use the Beyond Menu app and it's super quick and easy. Better yet--this place serves Japanese & Chinese cuisine (including sushi). Everything I've had from here is delicious. The only thing I wouldn't order again is the orange chicken but it's because I was expecting something along the lines of mainstream Panda Express orange chicken. This dish is accented with orange peel and has more of an orangey flavor. Not bad, just not my favorite. The crab Rangoon is some of the best I've ever eaten. Fried rice hits the spot every time.
