Chicken was sweet but lacked the spice you look for. Rice was a bit dry. Shrimp egg roll had a weird after taste.

Sorry. I meant to take a pic of my general Taos dinner special. It's all gone. Trust me, it was great. Especially enjoyed the egg roll

Want some sushi with that rice? Maybe you also want the worst tasting salmon with that rice.

Wang Garden is a solid Chinese food take-out place. BEWARE, though! They are condiment Nazis!!!!!…read moreYou only get 1 or 2 of each condiment per order. Each subsequent packet will cost you 50 cents. No problem for me, as I keep all this stuff in my refrigerator anyways, but it's the principle. Those packets come in super bulk and any other restaurant will throw a handful of them in your bag and not give a hoot. I see other patrons requesting extra packets and the owner gets all militant about charging extra. OWNERS, if you're reading this, you lose more with customers feeling negatively about you vs. the miniscule money you save by being stingy on the packets. Just my 2 cents....and I'll give that you for FREE. That being said, the online ordering they recently added is nice. I like online ordering because any special requests are right there in black and white - - nothing is lost in communication. Hubby always gets sweet and sour chicken. It always seems too greasy to me, but he orders it every time, so maybe he doesn't think it is. I mix my order up a bit...I like the black pepper chicken or steak, the Singapore mei fun, or the curry chicken. I'll go to my grave saying the curry chicken they make uses "S & B Golden Curry" paste and tastes just like what I make at home. (Not a criticism) Orders are always correct. The inside is pretty tacky, with the TV always on and no one watching it. The same items for sale in the display case have been there for the past 5 years. (Who buys that stuff?)

Dim sum king has some of the best Cantonese/Chinese food in all of Memphis! My family and I are…read moreloyal patrons and go for just about any special occasion! It's a huge space and usually is packed with a ton of people on the weekends, so it can sometimes take a little bit to get the dim sum carts around to you. But while a lot of people come for the dim sum (which is really really good), we actually go for the family styled meals! For the wide array of flavors and dishes, the food comes out pretty timely! The spicy tofu is spicy and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside while the fragrant eggplant is soft and comes with a thick tangy, spicy sauce and sliced up mushrooms for a crunchy added texture. I could honestly go on and on about how much I love this place, but that would be a whole thesis on its own. I absolutely recommend Dim Sum King!

Decent dim sum in the area. This place does seem to get busy during meal hours. Ordered a bunch of…read moreitems that i forgotten to take a picture of. The classic items include siumai, hargow, egg tart, wu kok (honeycomb taro dumpling), BBQ bun, chicken feet, turnip cake, BBQ Roast Pork, fried sesame ball and an order of supreme soy noodles. Staff were friendly and service is a mix. Some items were served quickly while others took a bit of a time. Overall, the restaurant is clean and there's plenty of other Cantonese style food available to order.
