Not much has changed from my last review. Decided to try for dinner. I ordered the pad thai with chicken, potstickers, mango sticky rice and red curry. It wasn't fantastic but it was good, hot, and spice level as I requested "medium ". They have lunch specials according to the lady that took my order. Definitely worth the visit. I had Panang curry with fried tofu. Instead of the white rice, I asked for a side of fried rice. I regret that, cause the fried rice was too good to go covered. My cousin had the pad thai with chicken. There was a generous amount of chicken and she enjoyed it. I got drunken noodles to go and they were delicious! I went back the next day for the fresh rice paper rolls. They made them with tofu for me. It was underwhelming, I'll just skip those. read more

Arrived before 8 pm for dinner on Friday after we drove from Nashville. Dining area had only 1 other family dining, but some to go orders were picked up during our meal. We ordered calamari, pad Thai, and papaya salad. We asked for not spicy --I think the staff said they use level 1-10, so we requested level 1. My papaya salad was spicy as it had visible parts of red chili . Pad Thai was not spicy. Calamari came with ponzu sauce which my son didn't like, but since the calamari was bland on its own we asked for sweet & sour sauce. We are relatively close to this location, and had an opportunity to try it for the first time this weekend. We got there about 30min before close and they still made time for our table. We sat at the bar and enjoyed plenty of water refills and lots of help from employees. They were playing this great mix of food prep videos from YouTube, it's hard to explain but it was very fun to watch food made great and wait for great food. as for the plates, we both ordered medium spice, for who among us does not overestimate their spice tolerance? I got spicy old man and spouse got Tom yum with white rice. Pretty spicy for us but the flavor shines through, which is a great feature of this restaurant and Thai food in general. The place is clean and comfortable. We started out with a green matcha tea and regular iced tea. For an appetizer we had crab rangoons and a bowl of chicken Tom Kha. Both were delicious and fresh! For the main course we had chicken pad Thai and chicken basil fried rice. Absolutely superb! I wish we were going to be in town longer so we could eat here again. This was my second chance with this place. Never again. I ordered the squid dish - the pretty pic. And the other pic is what I got. It was some kind of seafood roller things and dishwater! Today was a milestone - it was the first time I ate at a restaurant INDOORS since the beginning of the pandemic. I felt comfortable since it wasn't crowded and they seated guests far from each other. I'm in town visiting family and today is my dad's birthday. He wanted Thai for lunch and has been raving about the food at Thai Bistro for a while. I do love Thai food and was more than happy to accommodate his lunch wishes, of course. We ordered a mix of appetizers - chicken satay, curry potstickers and fresh rolls. Everything was delicious. I would have preferred the potstickers steamed, but the curry sauce was delightful. Satay was flavorful and the fresh rolls were just right. Others at the table ordered the red curry with chicken and a fish curry. I tasted everything and was lucky enough to get some of the leftovers - the curries are awesome. Oh - they started the meal off with complimentary egg drop soup. Really good!! We finished with mango sticky rice....which brought me back to Thailand (as did the curries!!). This visit was a great one! The young lady that took my Togo order in the restaurant was so nice! I let her know that it was my first time and she was very helpful in helping me make my decision. I ordered the chicken drunken noodles, chicken egg rolls, and fresh shrimp spring rolls! Once my order was ready, the young lady brought my food outside to me! She had a wonderful smile and showed great personality! I loved all the food! The spring rolls were different but I'm glad i tried something i had never! The drunken noodles were my favorite. We drove here from Cordova because the reviews were so good. The atmosphere is nothing special and the same goes for the service. We ordered a shrimp roll, calamari and Papaya salad for starters, Yellow Curry and Duck for our mains. The shrimp roll was almost literally all romaine and basil with one whole shrimp and a measly little cucumber slice. My husband got six pieces of Calamari for 9.95. The Papaya Salad never made it to us. My husband said his duck was delicious. My yellow curry had good flavor, but the potatoes were undercooked. My biggest complaint is the service. The waitress didn't write our order down ( which is why she forgot the salad), and several minutes after we placed our order she came back to the table to ask what protein I wanted in my curry. When it came time to pay, she made us wait while she cleaned and bussed a table one table away. Mind you, there was only one other table of patrons in the place. I was also creeped out by the trash can in the ladies room. I was not going to use my clean hands to unlock the latch, so sorry, not sorry, I left my used paper towels on top. The atmosphere is so wonderful when she's there! We have become regulars. We tried the Thai Iced Tea the first time we went and are hooked, we get it every time now. I normally order the Spaghetti Kee Mao it has just enough spice to it and never disappoints. If you prefer something a little more on the sweet side try the Pad Thai it's equally yummy. My husband and I ordered food here tonight. I had the Pad Thai and also ordered a Thai coffee. I can't even really give a review on the food because I can't get past the fact that there was something long and slimy in my coffee. I am so upset because some of it went into my mouth and I had to spit it out. I can't even identify what it is. It was black and translucent and very slimy. I thought it was some type of bug. I called in my order and the gal who took my order had the most pleasant tone and personality. She was extremely helpful. The food was very good and flavorful. Mom and I shared a bowl of shrimp Tom yum soup and we also ordered a Chicken Satay appetizer with extra peanut sauce, chicken pad thai and finished off with sticky rice and mango for dessert. Ordered to go tonight from Thai Bistro. We have ordered from them in the past, even when they use to be in Cordova. When we got home and ate the food, my husband was not pleased with his order at all. He ordered the Thai basil fried rice, but when he opened it, all I could smell was burned rice. Whoever cooked the friend rice tonight, DEFINITELY overcooked or burned the rice. We will not be going back. read more

I am so glad this is here! I loved the Hunan Palace and I thought they always had good food. They just didn't have customers. I'm glad this is still Asian food. In case you didn't know yet, this is Ann's restaurant from Memphis Mojo Cafe. She has a successful business selling burgers, and now she's selling Thai food. I couldn't be happier for her. I'm sure this will be just as successful. I love what they've done with the place. It's very nice. Ann really won me over with her food though. I ate the drunken noodles extra spicy. It got my nose runny but my eyes didn't tear up. So that's the perfect level for me. I would feel comfortable saying that this is probably the best drunken noodles I've ever had. It was that good y'all! She just needs to get some bigger glasses for drinks. It's summertime! read more
