Asian garden is one of the better Chinese buffets in the area. They have a large selection of dishes to choose from and a Mongolian barbecue. The salad bar is lacking when it comes to toppings, usually just iceberg lettuce, cheese, cucumbers, and ranch dressing. No tomatoes or other usually provided salad bar items. It's also hit and miss with customer service and friendliness. If you are going to go I would suggest going on a weekend. They put their best selection of food out on the weekends.

I really just came here for the crayfish and is was good. The rest of the buffet is ok nothing special. Below standards compared to Asian Buffets out in the California or Florida but priced the same. I would probably come back just for the crayfish.

The food was consistently gone!!! It took forever for them to make the food even though the lady kept saying "Mo food coming". The food that WAS there was cold or horribly made. The lo mein was breaking into little pieces which is an indication that they must've just warmed up some OLD lo mein. Most dishes were poorly made: either extremely watery, oily, badly chopped, or lazily cooked. The only good thing was the Mongolian grill but even then, the choices were extremely limited. Quality has gone from a 75% to 30% since the last time I was here. Not returning.

The salad bar had some very tastey pasta salads, as well as lots of fresh veggies.

There are no kids meals and they offer appetizers that's not on the menu. The meat selections aren't too bad for both types of dinner. They could offer more veggies and (dipping) sauces. The banchons were emptied/low that I didn't pick any. The shaved ice was watery so I didn't have any either. Instead, I opted for the $8 cotton candy machine that was well worth the money. It's huge, airy, and mildly sweet. The server, Weston, was nice, very informative explaining the concept and attentive. We felt very welcoming.

At kbbq???) So glad we did because we found this place instead. We were able to get a customized option for dining that worked for us and our little picky eater. Loved the variety and the meats were flavorful, out quickly, and fresh. Their thai coconut (can't remember name) broth was so good even my son enjoyed it. Everything was clean and well maintained. Overall though the service is what sold us. We eat a lot of kbbq and the service is usually good but our waiter was exceptional. He was attentive, patient and kind. We are so happy we ended up here during our short time in Appleton. If you want kbbq or hotpot in the area, THIS is your spot in my opinion!

Will have to figure it out next time because we will be back. There is a deli style counter you walk up to place your order, then find a seat and they bring it to your table. We started with the spring rolls with two sauces, peanut and sweet. They were delicious. We also each had a stuffed chicken wink because they looked so good and wanted to try something not usually on a menu. Not sure how they stuffed them but they were delicious. I had an excellent pho. I am gluten intolerant and probably should not of had the chicken wing but it just had about a 1% gluten in I was told. The gentleman who took our order and brought us our food was knowledgeable and attentive. When I ordered my Thai tea I asked it to be put in a to go cup. Because with our apps I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it. As it was I needed two to go containers for my Pho and really enjoyed it for dinner. My combination Pho had lovey perfectly cooked shrimp and sliced beef that had to have been roasted and sliced in-house. At least it tasted like it. I also had several meatball halves too. I would go back for this Pho over and over again. My husband had a curry and he said it was also a 4 star. We try Asian restaurants, mostly Thai, whenever we travel and I hope to be able to come back here when in the area.

Our family includes a couple of people with significant allergies and one picky eater who won't eat Chinese food UNLESS it's from this restaurant. China Wok's owners take allergies seriously and have always been attentive to making sure problematic ingredients and cross-over contaminants are avoided. Their menu includes all the standard American Chinese dishes, and, even without special requests, theirs taste fresher and lighter - vegetables fresh and crisp, no excessive or stale oil, no blackened eggrolls or crab rangoon, not loaded with MSG.
