House lo mein and Philadelphia roll
    Nakema G.

I think I may have found my new Chinese restaurant in Kennesaw. During a recent visit to Publix I smelled something good in the parking lot and realized it was coming from Asian Fusion. I've been in the parking lot numerous times and never paid attention so I decided to check it out a few days later. They have Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food. I decided to go with the house lo mein and a Philadelphia roll. I didn't dine in, but the restaurant looked nice. My lo mein was really good. It had beef, chicken and shrimp in it with vegetables. The sushi roll was really good as well. I'll definitely be back to try some other items.

Pad thai is covered in a red sweet and sour like sauce. Not as expected. It is edible but definitely does not satisfy the craving that I had for pad thai as this flavor profile is not it at all. Will try some other items here but will skip the pad thai.

Y'all LISTEN!!! I am from the North and it's not a lack of Asian food in the North as it is here in the South. Good Asian food I mean! BUT THIS SPOT! Absolutely amazing and OH SOOO GOODT!!! Y'all know when I put a T on that thang, it's FOR REAL! So let's go.... The atmosphere!!! Spot on! My husband, my mother, my baby girl, and baby son stumbled upon this gem! It's in a nice place in Kennesaw. The ambiance was good for any occasion, but it made me want to come back with my man, my man, my man without the distractions of everyone else. It was definitely a vibe! Very clean, even the bathroom! Don't judge me, but I most certainly need to know how the bathrooms look and smell! IT IS A REFLECTION OF THE BUSINESS. But it all passed the test! THE SERVICE! ON POINT!!! Everyone was so nice and loved what they did. You can tell it's a family owned business. And you felt the love. The father was our server and it was on it. He refilled cups without having to ask. At one point my cup was more than half full, but because he brought out my entree...he topped it off without me asking to make sure I had enough to drink with my food! It's the little things that make a big statement with me. NOW...THE FOOD‼ What I need you to know first...I AM GOING BAAACCCKKK!!! AND REAL SOON!! I had my first ever Sushi!! And when I say...I have been missing out. Babeeee!!! I got the cooked spicy crab roll and the cucumber/avocado roll. Don't judge me, I'm not about the raw meat diet so I needs my food cooked! But...I absolutely LOVED EVERY BITE!! Next up was the Thai Mango Shrimp!! When I say MIC DROP!! That thang DROPPED!! It WAS AH-MA-ZING!!! My mother had the wonton soup with some sort of chips (those need to be sold in bags, they were good and gave me a light snack later vibe). My husband and son and the General Tso's chicken!!! From what was left on their plate...I'd say it was good because it didn't stand a chance. My baby girl just had fried rice. She doesn't eat meat. While mom, had the chicken and broccoli! She said it was good. The best she's had since we moved to GA! So overall review...should you go, YES! Will you like it, YES! Is it worth the drive, MOST DEFINITELY YES!! Now gon and get you some!

This is an amazing place to go to for a quick lunch at a reasonably price. Check out my Sashimi lunch for just $15.99!

Back again! My wife and I were both hungry for some good sushi. We made the mistake of going to ...Wall, ...Ology and ...Brothers in the weeks prior; none of which could compare to the freshness and prices of Asian Fusion. With practically no wait time, 30% off specials and some of the freshest sushi in town, they are at the top of my list, still.

Tuesdays through Thursdays they have 30% off all rolls so we tend to head there one of those days. They have a good and flavorful selection of rolls along with Hibachi, Chinese, and Thai. The service is always quick and that's one of the reasons we keep coming back. The restaurant is in a fairly busy strip mall that is anchored by a Publix, but once inside, it is quiet. The seating area is separate from the take out so you would never know.

Wow! Didn't expect to have very very good fresh sushi . Our service was extraordinary! Food was delicious with numerous sushi and sashimi ! We had seaweed salad snd edamame for appetizers ! Sake and beer ! Panang curry and fried rice! OMG WOW! ! Surely will be back !!!

    fried rice

Fried rice is literally just leftover rice with soy sauce poured on top. Everything that was supposed to be in the fried rice ended up in my other dish (Ma po Tofu) that doesn't have carrots or peas in it. Ma Po tofu tasted nothing like actual Ma Po Tofu.

    Grease!
    Irene P.

Clean bathrooms, fast service, my husband raved about their food(Mushu so I had to go check it out but my food was not very delicious. There was I have a cup of oil poured over my food, that is just disgusting and inexcusable. I think the problem was I asked for spicy on a A holiday, New Year's Day and they didn't have their regular cook. My husband said his food was not greasy like mine, when I sent him a picture of the food. I will be back to try other dishes. I definitely want to pig out on discount sushi and Currys before ruling them out.

I got the Basil Chicken that was loaded with zucchini vegetables but hardly any chicken, was extremely salty, and lacked basil flavor. Noodles were hard and chewey, shrimp were small cocktail shrimp and sparse, and the pork tasted old. It goes without saying that we don't recommend it and don't plan on going back.

The menu was mostly stuff I love, so maybe I'm biased. I asked for a recommendation during ordering and decided to try the golden milk tea with boba and the shoyu ramen dish. I thought the prices were super fair, especially with the large portions. The wait time for the meal was short. I arrived right before closing time, too. I think it is a new establishment and was impressed by how smoothly everything was flowing. There is a nice amount of indoor seating and parking here, I felt at home when I walked in, which is a nice feeling! The chairs and tables were tidy and comfortable. My ramen was yummy. The portion was large. The protein was DELICIOUS, succulent, crispy, and I thought it tasted so good with the spicy sauce served on the side. My milk tea with boba was superb. I liked the soft feel container, too. I don't like the plastic film lids and prefer these cups. I would certainly order this again, but will branch out and try more menu items this month.

While service can be inconsistent and parking can be difficult to find in peak times, here are some of the redeeming factors: - mini poke tacos: love these more than the variation Mac's carries on their menu. I will say they may use a hair too much aioli at times, but the marinated tuna is a win. - queso is always a win. Agave marg is always a win. Made with fresh lime juice instead of sweet and sour mix.

I don't know if I've ever left or felt the need to leave a yelp review before, but man.... having…read moreeaten at this establishment and the location in Lawrenceville for a long time, the changes instituted with the new year have been a pretty big letdown. I don't know if Asian Express has new owners or what, but I truly hope that the owners take reviews like this and any possible dip in business to heart and see the error of their ways. Firstly, they got rid of their sushi. it was cheap, but good and I enjoyed it. Secondly, this restaurant that was widely and affectionately known as a "dollar scoop" or "scoop spot" is no longer such. Where they use to charge $1.50/scoop up until last year (and, typically, quite generous scoops that required your plate's lid to be pushed down to close it), they raised it to $2/scoop later in 2025. My traditional Saturday night order of lo mien, two scoops of honey chicken, two scoops of veggies and an order of teriaki chicken skewers (so 6 scoops, basically) came to 12 dollarydoos and change, up until the most recent changes that went into effect with the new year. Now, they no longer charge by scoop, but rather by "plate size", with the "large" plate costing 15 dollars and only being 4 scoops. I forget what they were charging for the teriyaki skewers à la carte now, but whatever it was, I think my "large" plate plus a side of skewers was either just shy of or just over $20. As a little cherry on top of this disappointing sundae, the servers must have been instructed to start being very strict with their scoop sizes, because not only was my "large" plate fewer scoops than I normally get, but the servers seem to be very, shall we say, conservative, with their scoop sizes. Very small portions. I think I counted literally like 15 little bites in my 2 scoops of honey chicken, pretty much halving the generous scoop sizes I'm sure accustomed to. So yeah, tl;dr version is that what use to be a cheap but very good fast food takeout place has, in the span of a few months, more than doubled their prices while also reducing portion sizes. Not cool. The value of the food at Asian Express has always been a huge factor in making it my weekly go-to Chinese take-out spot. I get that the economy is bad right now and inflation is through the roof, but man is this all very disappointing. Bottom line, if this once cheap but very good Chinese spot is going to cut back on quality *and* quantity while also raising their prices to the same level or higher than the Chinese place I had previously been going to since high school, I may as well go back to patronizing their business instead... and I have.
