Incredible restaurant we have been longtime customers of many years and love the convenience of ordering directly here from the Yelp app it even tracks the progress and I have to say the delivery driver is always early and super kind I'm so grateful to have my favorite cousins available so close by!

Horrible fried rice

Worst fried ever, no taste what so ever except the old oil it was fried in. Orange chicken is more of a soup chicken. Terrible

DO NOT EAT HERE! HAD MOLD IN THE EGG-DROP SOUP! See mold on attached photos... Took back the moldy egg drop soup to show them and they REFUSED TO GIVE A REFUND! All of the food here is horrible. The Sesame chicken is obviously not fresh and reheated multiple times. The Sweet & Sour chicken is nothing but breading. If I could give 0 stars I would! Bad/rotten/nasty food, and even worse employees!

Okay, so we are pretty picky with our Chinese food. Usually going to the same place where we know the owners but they don't do delivery so we tried this place out. Usually take out disappoints in comparison. Everything met or exceeded expectations! Everything was flavorful and fresh. Egg drop soup was great. The veggie lo mein was a huge portion! Great for leftovers. I was also very impressed with the fried rice that came with the general Tso chicken. It wasn't just tinged rice with some egg like most friend rice sides but actual fried rice with vegetables! This is our new Chinese take out choice. I hope next time is just as good. I also wish there was a way to tip the driver since it was no contact delivery (which is definitely best in these times!)

Food is just okay, but having your children running around, playing and sleeping in the restaurant is not okay. Take out or delivery business would not see that, but if you choose to dine in you'll have to deal with that...

I ordered food to be delivered from here today and Everything was delicious until I dipped into the sweet and sour and saw this .

Free delivery only within a 4 mile radius according to the person taking down the order. Never ordering here again

I order here just because there's not that many decent Asian places around me. It's average, with good Cheese Wontons and Egg Rolls.

This place fills up super easily so I would definitely recommend making a reservation. I came here with a couple of cousins and we ordered: the salt & pepper seafood which you can choose from squid, cod, shrimp or combination so we got the combo but they were out of squid that day, stir fried eggplant with green beans, braised beef brisket, stir fried intestines, and 1/2 of a peking duck. This all comes with complimentary white rice and the duck comes with complimentary stir fried duck bones. Everything was so delicious and the food came out very fast! I would recommend this restaurant and definitely plan on coming back soon!

However when i entered into their Katy location, several workers saw us and ignored us, despite having only 2 small tables filled on a Friday night. We had called ahead and made reservations for a large table of 12 so they put us in a private room w 2 round tables. But we sat at the larger one. We got notice that 2 of our attendees couldn't make it so we let them know and they said that because of this we couldn't sit inside this room and we would have to move outside (but we'd all started drinking and ordering at this point) - I asked why? There were no other ppl here and we all got settled in. The head person came and said we have to pay extra to stay in this room, if we chose to. I didn't understand why- again it's Friday 7pm and they are empty! So we moved tables outside the room to main dining. They said they couldn't put out tables together and we have to sit next to each other.... Needles to say, it was annoying. We ordered food and it was very slow despite no customers. Portions are super small, lacked traditional tastes that the previous restaurant had and way more expensive. For 10 people we spent around $600. I don't mind paying as long as the food is good. It was very Americanized, small portions and w horrible service, it was disappointing to say the least. We won't be going again!

I have fond feelings about Tim Ho Wan as a brand from eating there years ago in Hong Kong. I was so surprised how such wonderful flavors could be found at such an unassuming, simple shop. My experience here at the Katy store fell short of my memory, but objectively the dim sum was still good, if more expensive than I would have liked. I came around 11a on a Sunday and practically had the place to myself. Service was prompt, but it felt like I had three different people tending to me. That sounds great but it was uncoordinated so I felt like I was repeating myself. The restaurant is clean with lots of natural light. Overall I enjoyed my meal but the dim sum here falls short of the stuff in Hong Kong. And while it is good here, it's not so good that I would drive out of my way to go here again as there are plenty of dim sum spots across Houston. However, the food quality here is certainly good, if a tad expensive.

Yellow walls with traditional Vietnamese farming hats hung all over the wall. It's a bit rustic in atmosphere. Dining area is dimly lit, but with natural light from the front. You feel as if you're in a 3rd world country, but it's the vibe they are creating. Dress code is casual. 4. Food - I would like to recommend their CANTONESE SWEET & SOUR PORK, HOUSE SPECIAL RICE CAKE, and their DICE BEEF WITH SCALLIONS. I'm not sure if you've been to their original location In Chinatown. But they are related to TAN TAN the restaurant. Same owners. The food is actually pretty similar, and it really hit the spot whenever you want Cantonese and Vietnamese fusion dishes. 5. It's especially convenient for anyone living in Katy and looking for a solid, reliable place to dine. My wife absolutely loves their house special rice cake--it's a must-order appetizer for us every time we visit. For this meal, we went all out (as we usually do) and ordered a variety of dishes: General Tso's chicken, orange beef, shrimp with candied walnuts, beef and chicken flat noodles, and a side of spicy green beans. We always end up ordering a bit more than we need, but that's part of the experience--everything tastes great, and the leftovers easily turn into additional meals later in the day. Tan Tan Wok consistently hits the spot with flavorful dishes and satisfying portions. It's a place we genuinely look forward to coming back to. On average, we spend around $85-$90 including tip, which is well worth it considering the amount of food and leftovers you get. Highly recommend if you're craving quality Chinese food and enough to feed family of 4 with plenty of leftovers.

As I dug deeper, I read Jando's glowing review word-for-word and found myself salivating. Well, I ventured out to S. Mason for lunch, found the place easily, appreciated the ample and free parking, and walked in. I had read before that they used to be closed on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but now they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but open for dinner on Saturdays. (See my photos.) Anyhow, we walked in and found the place homey. Nothing fancy - just a nice, clean, homey Malaysian restaurant. Not too big, and not too small. We placed our order of roti canai, stir fried flat rice noodles, seafood sizzling tofu, and topped it off with a Malaysian milk tea. Oh my - we were satisfied and stuffed as a party of 2. We ended up boxing up almost 40% of the meal. The roti was near perfection - crispy, hot, flaky. The dipping sauce was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of heat. It included chunks of chicken and potato. You must absolutely order this one. I love me some stir fried flat rice noodles so we got that one with chicken. Overall, it was excellent. Portions were a tad smaller than I would like for the price. Also it could use a little bit of hot sauce so we asked for a side of sriracha which they gladly and quickly brought. The sizzling tofu - OMG so good. I can't even explain it. I just love it so much and the portions are huge. I'm not sure what the vegetable flavor would taste like but we tried the seafood one and have no regrets. Lastly the milk tea was just because we felt like splurging and it was also a great decision. The tea flavor itself is deep and the overall drink is very nice. We got it iced. And an honorable mention - we ran into Uncle Chin (at least we assume it was Uncle Chin) and told him his food was amazing. I think he really appreciated it. He seems like a super nice guy and I want his business to do really well. If that wasn't Uncle Chin then we talked to a random person and raved about the food... Many thanks for Jando for the raving review that convinced me to try this place. Loved it and would absolutely come back as soon as possible!

My little one really had to go and it wasn't clean at all or well kept which was a bit of a downside especially with a kid. Overall, we had a great experience and I'm glad we finally tried it.

Service was spot on, quick, and we got our food in what felt like maybe a few minutes. We started off with pork dumplings for the kiddo, which he INHALED in moments. For entrees, we split the orange chicken and the Spicy/Numbing Pot. The orange chicken was spot on. The sauce was sweet but not painfully sweet or thick/clumpy. Really nice orange flavor and tender chicken. So much fun eating it since it is gluten free! Our kiddo also devoured this dish! Mild - not spicy at all! The Spicy Numbing Pot, while a little oily/greasy on the bottom, was still delicious! I appreciated that it wasn't knock your socks off spicy - it had a solid kick, and so flavorful. I love eating dishes with Sichuan Pepper; it has a lot of flavor, and the tingling is so much fun. This dish was perfect with some rice, and it wasn't too heavy for the middle of the day. The prices were really reasonable, and there was enough food for leftovers which we ate later that night. Our only regret is not getting the duck appetizer, but we will be sure to get it next time. We can't wait to go back, and Tiger Noodle will happily be in regular rotation for our family! You can't go wrong!
