The price and the food was good, but some of their food did taste old for example the cold shrimp that they have by the fruit section. The service was awesome they are all very attentive and courteous. I may come back again for a quick meal. read more

A fairly wide selection of items, although quite a few were mislabeled. The price was inexpensive. The décor was ageing and some redecoration would bring life back to the place. Like others said, pretty much everything I put on my plate was tasty, not like the kind of buffets where you taste and reject and then worry because you are wasting food. I don't know if we came at the wrong time of day, or what but everything was cold and look like and tasted like it had been sitting there for quite some time. The crawfish were rubbery, the tuna of the sushi was brown, the chow mein and fried rice tasted exactly the same, the orange chicken was hard like it been sitting there a while...I could go on and on. This is my first ever Yelp review and I'd give ZERO stars if I could!I came to this Buffet because it had decent reviews and boy are they wrong.. I arrived at 7:45pm and they close at 9pm. The food...ALL OF IT...was cold. The flavors were ok, but all of it cold! I kept trying different things, but nothing was even warm. I told my server that the flavors were good, but the food was cold and she said it was because it was close to closing! They do not close for an hour! As I paid, I again told the manager the same thing and she said I should come in the morning! What!? No offer to half my bill, nothing, which I feel was fair since I did eat a tiny bit. I said No, that I wouldn't come in the morning and she said, "Oh, you only eat it at dinner?" I said that it shouldn't matter what time someone comes there to eat, the food should always be fresh and hot and this wasn't either! So apparently you can only expect hit food during lunch! That's it, $13.00 wasted and I'll never go back. read more

It's a buffet and the food taste good just like any typical Chinese buffet, prices are low and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Clean tables and comfortable seating. Not bad at all for your average Asian buffet. read more

Nice little restaurant. Prices are VERY reasonable...actually cheap :) The vegetables in any of the dishes were very well prepared. Wait staff were very nice and attentive without being intrusive. I'm not gonna be too critical since it barely opened but they had some really good options for an Asian buffet and it isn't too expensive at 11.75 a person (cheaper for a kid). The dessert table could use a little more effort but other than that it was good. The busier it gets the more the food will be nice and fresh. read more

Went for lunch this past Saturday. Place looked very nice, and clean upon entering. Staff is friendly and attentive. Now for the food; There were probably 6-7 different chicken choices (not much variety). Most tasted just like the other. Everything seemed to be cooked in the same oil and had little flavor. Most dishes were overlooked and tough. Beef and Broccoli was very oily and the beef not very tender. I love Hot and Sour Soup and was very disappointed in this one. Soup tasted like hot water with a little chili oil and not much else. I arrived right around 1pm and most dishes looked like they had been there for some time. Stopped in for lunch with the family. I'm visiting from Oregon (born and raised in Gilroy) and have watched how Gilroy has changed and grown. This is one of the more wallet friendly places to eat. They had a nice spread, a little something for everyone and the sushi bar was good. They had the seaweed salad there which is my favorite. Salad bar looked good too but I went in for the protein rush. Several chicken dishes, broccoli beef and shrimp was all good. A great place of the beaten path. Finally! A good tasting Chinese buffet in Gilroy. They have a good selection for their lunch buffet and for $8.95, you cannot beat that. Their sushi taste pretty good too. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean. I am going to be a regular here as long as the food quality and taste is maintained. read more

Best asian buffet of its price point. Ive been to sakura in salinas, ocean city and L8 buffet in santa cruz, a couple in san diego, and this is better than em all. The food tastes good, isnt dried out like some dishes at the other places, and one of the best parts is they put out bottles of unagi sauce and spicy mayo next to the sushi!!
