Decided to come in today after not being here since before covid. I was aware I was going to be charger by the pound and for my family of 3 it was only 23 dollars! Not bad right, but giiiiirlllllll! There was minimal options and everything was cold! It also didn't taste great. To give you an idea, I had maybe 5 bites. Left more than half of my food. It was worth a shot since I had been craving it! It used to be good‍ but I definitely won't be coming again. The lady at the front was sweet and I honestly feel bad bc times are tough but I'm surprised this place is still up and running. Just a quick update since my last review over a year ago. We noticed the place has become much more popular now as it was very busy during dinner time on a Saturday night.The food we also noticed has improved in terms of variety which is one area we were happy to see. The restaurant is still extremely clean including the bathrooms! Food tasted very good, though the dessert selection is still fairly limited. We are very happy to see this buffet doing well and continuing to offer great service and good quality food, all for an excellent price! We will be coming back again soon. read more

4 stars? Um no more like 1 1/2 . They had an ok selection of food but all the flavors fell short. Like the orange chicken had no orange flavor what so ever. The fried rice was like rice pilaf. The green bean were dry and wrinklely. A lot of things had been sitting out too long and we're hard and stale. The soft serve ice cream was watered down ice milk that was translucent and melted right away, pretty bad. The only good things we tried were the ribs and the hot and sour soup. Made the mistake of coming on a Monday and everything had deteriorated. The fried fish and the shrimp were not fresh and even the ribs had an off taste. Anthony Bourdain said never to eat fish at a restaurant on Monday and it was never more true than here. The restaurant was not very busy and therefore food sits out longer and is not replaced. The green beans were wilted and the potstickers meh until a new batch came out. Consistency is important for restaurants as diners remember their last visit most vividly. read more

For me 4 stars is about as high as one of these buffet places can realistically be. Though, for value I'd have to give them a 5. Definitely above average for one of these, clean on my visit except for the bathroom, and still looking new. It's a big space, and there are 3 double-sided steam tables plus a sushi station, a double-sided cold salad/fruit table, and the requisite soft ice cream station. Sushi is only rolls, as expected, though there is a sort of dragon roll. Hot selections are typical, the ribs were actually notably tender,, several chicken dishes, fried calamari, various shrimp its, 4 soups, and crab legs. This was a Friday, I don't know whether they always have these but there were definitely people there just for them, piling them on repeatedly. I don't find crab legs worth the trouble, so I didn't line up for them. Restaurant did a good job of keeping them stocked, it seemed to me. Kung pao chicken could have stood more heat, and I thought the hot and sour soup was oily, but no problem finding plenty of satisfying food to fill up on. I visited this buffet Sunday and honestly I was a bit skeptical. I haven't had good experiences in buffets before, but my wife and I really wanted to try this one out. Honestly, we ended up loving this place, the quality of the food for the price we payed was acceptable. We ended up loving their salmon sushi, dumplings, spicy chicken, and several other items. Went here for dinner on a whim. Staff was very friendly, location was very clean as were the food service islands. Overall the food was ok, not great but not bad. Some food didn't have much flavor of seasoning to it. The price was good for two, $32 with beverages and tip. One island has all cold items for salads, fresh fruit, cold shrimp in the shell, etc One island had bbq chicken, pizza, loaded baked potatoes and other non-Asian foods Another island had appetizers like cream cheese wontons, soups, friend shrimp, baked muscles and small items Another had Asian goods like pineapple shrimp, chow mien, sautéed green beans, beef and broccoli etc. The last dinner island has sushi rolls that someone is constantly preparing and setting on plates There is a dessert bar that had 3 items that didn't look great, but the place just opened so (like other reviewers) I hope to see it improve. They do have a soft serve ice cream machine with 2 toppings which was decent. First time here.The staff was nice and polite and friendly. The ambience is very nice with soft beautiful music. The buffet was very clean and well kept. The food had a large variety of seafood and sushi. Different prepared chicken dishes and Vegetables . The food was very good and tasty. I recommend this establishment . My dad had been raving to me how great this place was, so I came here on a Sunday night with my parents. This place is an all you can eat buffet which mainly consists of asian food. The inside was spacious, calm, and nicely decorated. I was actually surprised to see how friendly all of the employees were. The employees were assertive and aware of their customers tables and of the food as well. This was my first time going to an all asian buffet, so I don't really have another asian buffet to compare it to but overall the food quality was average. Some things were really good and some things were just okay. It's a buffet so not everything is gonna be great but I was still impressed. For a great price (~$11+tip) this place has a nice buffet with a big selection. It is very unassuming from the outside; so I think most would pass it by. We did until someone suggested we try it. Now we go once a month. Even the sushi is pretty good; you can tell the chef has had experience making the Japanese rice with vinegar and seasonings. read more

I don't understand how this place got highly rated. People used "Fresh" and "Big Selection" in their reviews. "Bots" or wannabe "Elite" attempts....but I digress. This place is small, dirty, and run down. The "sushi" was dry, not fresh, the typical Chinese takeout section was either over sauced, over salted, or completely dried out. Not to mention a salad bar that had mostly "fresh" canned vegetables and fruit. It was like eating reheated 3 day old take out and they came out to replace the empty trays with what tasted like 1 day old take out. Who can forget the watery runny soft-serve with a giant WWII era can of Hershey chocolate syrup that you can hand pump into your watery soft-serve. So my boyfriend and I went their last night. He thought it was ok. He didn't really like the fried rice. He did like the brownies though lol. I on the other hand love this place. There are some items that I don't eat like the sushi and fried rice and some of the shrimp. But I like all of their other meats. All this talk of the food being "cold"? I don't know what people are talking about? I guess they didn't have good customer service. Yes, it looks like they are sad but idk they all look young? This is a friendly and clean Asian buffet. It's special because it's friendly and clean. The food is standard Asian buffet food but I would say they have above average soups. The atmosphere is very family friendly but the lighting made it pretty relaxing, not chaotic. The food was replenished not just when a tray ran out but also on a schedule. So, you're not getting anything that sat too long. I'm sure that should be the standard but probably isn't at many buffets. read more

And to make things worse, we were charged full price for both mine and my boyfriend's meals even though the staff knew about the incident. No compensation or discount was given. This spot is a hidden gem. Not much else to eat besides fast food in Gilroy. Came here with my girl and was satisfied with our decision. Price was pretty cheap for a buffet and the food was good! I am used to going to Asian food buffets. I am very picky about my chowmein, and theirs was amazing. It was thick noodles with lots of vegetables. Their egg rolls are just right! Th steamed rice is sticky and nice to pick up with chopsticks! I always eat with chopsticks so the fact that their food is easy to grab tell me there's not too much oil in the recipe. read more

I had a good meal here recently. They had a big selection and the food was good. The buffet is cheap too. It's been a while since I went to a Chinese buffet so I was pretty excited when I found it. I tried the soup everyone's raving about in the reviews and it was not very good, imo. Maybe we caught it at a bad time. It was close to closing. I didn't try any of the sushi for obvious reasons. Almost everything I did try was pretty good. The garlic green beans were the best thing I found. I tried the "soft serve" and it was terrible. I would've subtracted one star for that but I did not because of what happened when I was leaving. I was standing by the front door, inside, waiting for Terry S to come out of the restroom. It was about 15 min after closing time. One guy who worked there came up and was going to take me to sit down. I think they close for a time between lunch/dinner. He offered me a table, but I told him I was just waiting for someone to come out of the bathroom. Then I said "I thought you close at 4". He said "We do." The dinner buffet is really great. Fresh sushi/gimbap with side dishes kimchi, seaweed salad, ginger, ect. Sushi is delicious, always tons to choose from, tempura rolls, spicy tuna rolls, California rolls, deep fried rolls, eel rolls, fresh salmon and tuna. There is also much to choose from for entree: fried rice, honey prawns, beef and broccoli, crab legs, chow mein, fried shrimp, fresh shrimp, stuffed oysters, crab and cream cheese Rangoon's, sauteed mushrooms, pizza, fries, Korean style BBQ chicken, And much more. Didn't expect much except for the typical buffet. Lesson learned when I lived in Vegas for 12 years was that you get there about 45 minutes after the 12 rush so most everything is fresh. Can't beat the 9 dollar price and food was pretty damn good. Decent selection and everyone is polite and service is great. This place is a great choice if you have kids and if you want variety.. It's not Milpitas buffet and for sure not Tomi.. It has hot and sour soup and egg drop soup.. A variety of vegetable dishes and a small sushi bar. Adequate dessert option.. They have clams which my family loved and salt and pepper shrimp.. Crab rangoon and salad bar.. If you are on a low carb diet it helps.. At lunch kids 2 to 5 eat for 2.50 and adults 8.75 on weekdays! Good value read more
