a plate of noodles with chicken and broccoli

Prices are very low but the food is good. I will miss this place when I graduate. the staff is so nice. Warm and loving. My favor dish is bourbon chicken. I love this place.

That's their fried rice. Yeah.

Fried rice is a joke. Out of all Asian establishments I've ever visited, wannabe or not, inexpensive or not, this place's fried rice has to be the biggest joke I've ever seen and tasted. Where are the eggs? The rice is orange?! A couple peas? SOY SAUCE?! Oh my goodness. The sad part is, this is a very mom and pop shop. The entire family works here. Everything here is well maintained, nothing dirty or broken. They have the typical Asian American cheap Chinese fast-food entrees like orange chicken, black pepper chicken and the like, which are fine. The boba here is meh, very diluted, and bland. Entrees are $5.99-7.99, from 1 main dish (chicken, etc.) and 1 side (white rice, lo mein, or "fried rice"). Wowee, the fried rice really ruined it for me. It was, additionally, quite bland, and whatever recipe they use, is not working. Nu-uh.

Ichiban Seafood Buffet - Crabs

Ichiban Seafood Buffet

We visited Ichiban Seafood Buffet in Springfield, PA on January 1st, 2026, to celebrate the New…read moreYear, and it turned out to be a great way to start 2026 with family and good food. The restaurant was busy due to the holiday, but the staff managed everything well and kept the buffet running smoothly. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, especially for seafood lovers. We really enjoyed the crab legs, which were refilled frequently and tasted fresh. The shrimp dishes--including fried shrimp and garlic shrimp--were flavorful and well cooked. There was also a good selection of fish, mussels, clams, and seafood stir-fry, which made the seafood section the highlight of the meal. In addition to seafood, Ichiban had plenty of Asian and American-style dishes. The hibachi grill was popular, allowing you to choose fresh ingredients like chicken, beef, shrimp, and vegetables cooked right in front of you. Sushi lovers will appreciate the sushi and sashimi selection, which included rolls, nigiri, and fresh fish options. The Chinese classics such as General Tso's chicken, lo mein, fried rice, and dumplings were tasty and comforting. Dessert options included cakes, cookies, fruit, and ice cream, which were perfect for ending the meal. Overall, the food quality, variety, and festive atmosphere made our New Year's Day visit enjoyable. Ichiban Seafood Buffet is a solid choice if you're looking for variety, generous portions, and a satisfying buffet experience. We would definitely visit again, especially for special occasions.

I brought my daughter here because she really likes the fact that Buffetts allow her to have so many different items to choose from. If you want to be a pro, get your hibachi plate filled up with your goodies then hand it over to the man to cook, when he's all done and gives it back to you take it over to your table and leave it there (it's 1000 and needs to cool) go grab your buffet favorites and then return to your table, have you buffet food then your perfectly hot but not melt you face hibachi plate. They are really good at accommodating larger groups, the sports teams I coach usually stop in here at the end of the Season.

The crab tasted horrible. They tasted very fishy and almost spoiled. There were literally CLUMPS of HAIR in the food. I've never felt more UNSAFE in a restaurant. The waiters were so mean to us. And it took 10 minutes at a time to track one of the down. One was complaining about her job, one threw our utensils down on the table with a grunt and walked away, and the other (when asked why a 34 dollar tip was already included) picked up a menu and underlined the "automatic 15% tip" and snarked at our table. The same one made a rude comment to us about not finishing all of our disgusting food. There were cameras everywhere and my friends counted 20 of them. The entire experience was very off putting. We are all very upset as we were excited to finally have a seafood boil (which we had been talking about for months). EDIT: THE BATHROOM DOOR DOESNT LOCK!! My friend got walked in on. Our server was sprinting table to table and complaining about her job. They never asked us for drink refills. And the waiter rudely told us we should've ordered off the menu for cheaper food. Another edit: my chest hurts so bad I GOT FOOD POISONING

Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant - General Tzo's Chicken

Since moving to Delco just over six years ago, there has been a part of me that is slightly…read moredisappointed. This isn't because of a lack of good Chinese places to eat, but because after living in Philly for many years before that, I have come to expect a certain something when I am looking for a quick and easy pick up from a corner store Chinese food joint that simple doesn't seem to exist down here. Well, apparently, that wait has finally ended for me, and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm not entirely sure how this place was overlooked by myself and my family for six years, but Hong Kong checks all the right boxes, and now that I know it's there, tucked away in a faded and overgrown strip mall on Chester Pike, it will be in heavy rotation. The secret to corner store Chinese food isn't a heavy variety, volume of food, or even that the staff is friendly. All that helps, but the real value and charm from places like these comes from the core selection of dishes that they do, they execute perfectly; full of flavor, served piping hot, at a great price, time after time, at a wide range of hours during the day. Deciding to go with lunch specials, which were very reasonable, each comes with a soup and a pretty hefty portion of your choice of dish, served with either pork fried rice or pork loin mein. My wife went with her staple test meal of General Tzo's chicken and Wonton Soup. She said both impressed, and while I enjoy those, they're not my go-to. However, they were delicious. I instead chose the Szechuan Chicken with lo mein and also the egg drop soup. This is where I knew I had finally found the place that we had been searching for, for so long. The egg drop soup is perfect....and I mean perfect. It is delicious, with great consistency, and at the same time, is no frills, and you can see that it is clearly made by hand. Nothing from a bag here! The only reason Hong Kong has lost a star is because what I received was definitely what I would have called Hunan chicken. Finished in a spicy brown sauce, rather than a traditional red pepper Szechuan sauce, it was still absolutely delicious and hot, perfectly cooked with a great ratio of chicken to vegetables! If you are in the area, especially if you live nearby, do not skip on Hong Kong Chinese. It may not look like much. You may not be greeted on the phone that well, and I'm pretty sure you have to pay in cash. But sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for and what you want when all you really need is perfectly prepared quick Chinese for a great price that will make your stomach happy and make you smile with satisfaction.
