My family and I love getting takeout at this place! Lunch and dinner specials are decently priced and the portions are generous...best bang for your buck! You can't go wrong with the Lo Mein, General Tso's Chicken, or Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. Service is good. The inside of the restaurant is small, simple, clean. I appreciate the fact that they stick mainly to a Chinese menu rather than Asian Fusion. Nothing against Asian Fusion, but it's hard to find an Asian restaurant in Ft. Smith with decent hours that sticks to one type of cuisine. read more

Asian Bistro is strictly a to-go place anymore. Probably since COVID. Wife and I have tried almost every thing on the menu. I would rate their food as five stars, easily! Why four stars? Twice now we have ordered online, paid through the online service, and found the restaurant had been closed for several days for vacation, illness, trips, etc. So, call the restaurant first. The service has always been great, fast, accurate, and hot. We got stuck in a traffic jam and they called to make sure we were still coming and kept our food hot for us. There really is no ambiance per se. You go in and the person hands you your already bagged up order, smiles, thanks you, and you're outta there. The lobby is clean, and neat. The condiment trays are stocked. Food is epic! Best hot and sour soup around!! read more

We have eaten here twice. The food was okay but the folks were no so friendly. It was sort of odd and quiet in a way - not necessarily a good way - sort of like an uncomfortable way. The food was good though. read more

I gave in, and returned, even though I was still pretty upset by my last visit. But, my wife was craving Chinese food and this is THE ONLY Chinese place worth buying from. Both of us are recovering from surgeries, and aren't going much cooking at the moment, but wife is VERY PICKY about how things are prepared, and this has been the only (Chinese) place in the River Valley, that she will eat from. The food was excellent, and service was much more friendly and accommodating. I guess I'll be going back more, now. Though my previous review was negative about service, I found it compelling enough to write a good word for them, this time. read more

This is a 'to go' establishment. We have gone several times and been pleased each time. We're about 20 minutes away and by the time we get back home with our food, it is still plenty hot. Ordering online is accurate and fast, so is a phone call. The menu is online, prices are amazing, portions a exceptionally generous. read more

Great restaurant! I love the General Tsaos chicken, sesame chicken, honey chicken and orange chicken! They are pretty much call in/take out and not a sit down restaurant, but I'm antisocial anyway so I don't mind. read more

I was under the impression of when people say " you know the food gunna be good when they got the paper menus on the walls" I was let down , My friends got the chicken fried rice , it didn't have any flavor , just soy sauce . The rice was still crunchy like it wasn't cooked all the way. It tasted like Minute Maid rice . The orange chicken wasn't bad. It had a sour kinda stinky after taste . Like vinegar. It smelt like hot dumpster . The rice was really sad tho. We went next door to get a pizza and threw the rice and orange chicken away ): read more

Food was very good and well seasoned. Even thought I grabbed some soy and duck sauce. Ended up not using it. General Taos chicken was very good I ordered fried rice and Hot and sour soup. Will order from here again when I am back in the area. The Gentleman taking my order was very nice and helpful. Thank you for a great meal read more

Asian Bistro - Sesame chicken dinner special - Chinese Near Me - Fort Smith, Arkansas

This place sucks. We drove over 40 minutes one direction to try their food because they had amazing reviews. Unfortunately, They are only doing drive through service right now due to Covid. And they verified at the window all of the food was in the bags, checked by a manager and the bags are stapled closed before they hand them to you. I drive 40 minutes back home, to find that I'm missing 2 entrees! Of course they can't refund over the phone. So now I have to drive my gas sucker truck 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back for a refund. I'm very disappointed. And will not be returning after my I get my refund. read more

Excellent food and great service My family of 5 stopped in while on a long road trip, hopeful for something warm, flavorful, and with options for everyone. Asian Bistro did not disappoint! The portions were generous and everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was friendly and attentive. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular. Instead, I've stuck a GPS pin in it and will be sure to make it a point to visit on our next trip through. read more

Loved the server and the food was amazing and a great price. Try the fried meat wontons they're to die for

Food was cold. How do you screw up sweet and sour chicken. They did. Rice was hard, cold. They forgot our wontons, I had to go back and get them. They were cold as well. I tried to make a complaint to the lady in there and I just heard her cursing and seen her throwing her arms around. I couldn't understand what she was saying. Probably the worst $60 I've ever spent for food. I feel ripped off. read more

Great place for Chinese take out, probably the best on the Southside of Fort Smith. I have tried mostly everything and I have never been disappointed. The staff is very cordial and will look after their clients if u decide to eat in. Be mindful that they close on Monday's, also their egg foo yong is beyond good. The wanton soup is one of my favorites and the egg drop is my moms.their sweet and sour chicken is to die for. Very high quality and tasty food. I wish that they would be open 24/7, but then we are in fort smith. Come by and try this place out,you won't be disappointed. Also they are super fast with take out, usually takes 10min. read more

This is a made to order fresh Chinese restaurant and is absolutely delicious every time. We order often, have tried many dishes, and love them all. The men in our family like garlic beef best. Sweet and sour chicken, chicken and veggie fried rice, soups, spring rolls, you name it. This place is south on Jenny Lind exit near Harps, and should be elevated to a Worth the drive place from anywhere. Try it! No disappointments. read more

I'm not even sure where to start. I called three times and got the busy signal. I finally got in on the fourth call. (I hesitate to call this a con, because a busy place is usually a good place.) The lady on the phone took my order of Sesame Chicken and Wontons and said "10 minutes." I ordered something safe as I typically do at new Asian restaurants. This place is across town from my house, so I rushed over. I'm not sure how long it took but I found it with relative ease. I walked in and I was immediately greeted and confirmed my order. I paid for it. (It seems like it's marginally less expensive to order over the phone than the online ordering.) Everything was bundled up nicely in a paper bag. (Thumbs up because plastic makes things sweat!) I drove back home, and made it back in about 7 minutes(!!!). I sat down with plenty of duck and soy sauce (not a huge fan, but nice that it was included); I did notice there was no plasticware though. I started digging in to the food, and it was still hot enough to burn my mouth. Call me impressed that it was still too hot to eat about 8 minutes after I picked up. Overall the food was ... good, but I don't think I recieved what I ordered. I ordered sesame chicken, that comes with fried rice and an eggroll or rangoon, and "fried meat wontons". I received a chicken that had a red sauce base with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top, a single egg roll (thumbs up), and a six-pack of crab rangoons. Overall, the food was good, however, I think I would've liked it better had I got the right food. Now that that set the bar, I'll go back and try something more adventurous! read more

love to come here for lunch. i love the pho overall a great place to eat at. the menu has a nice variety of food.

My new FAVORITE place in town for Chinese! I love the fact that it is not, I repeat NOT a buffet. The food is cooked to order, it comes to your table hot and fresh. We ordered the filled meat wontons and when my wife and I realized that they were not what we wanted the server changed our order! We will definitely go back! read more

My favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Wait staff is very pleasant. We started off with the hot and sour soup which was very fresh and perfect blend of sweet and sour. Then we had the crab Rangoon, a little sweet for my taste, but very good! Then we had the steamed dumplings. Best dumplings we have had in Oklahoma! The general Yao's shrimp was great. My only critique is that the batter could have crispier. The fried rice was also good. Great find in Sallisaw. We will come back for sure. read more

Had the Szechuan Shrimp and fried rice tonight. Along with egg drop soup. The food was wonderful. Our go to for carry out. Great food.

Yum yum yum, best in area. My hubby, son and two of my grandchildren enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared when we ordered. Every delicious. Will definitely go again! read more

I don't if you could beat the bang for your buck on this place. the quality and size of the portions would difficult to beat. I would eat there again. Probably in my top three all time for the flavor of their egg rolls. read more

We had a to go order of various items off the menu. Pot sticker, General Taos chicken, beef and chicken teriyaki on a stick and shrimp fried rice. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food but I do like shrimp fried rice. The fried rice didn't seem to have very much flavor especially the shrimp. My husband enjoyed the other food. I think I would have to try another restaurant for my shrimp fried rice fix. read more

Kinda pricey. Chow mein has no noodles? Orange chicken was tough. Did not taste like orange. Very dry and salty, sauce was more like general saos. Id recommend the lengthy drive to Hong Kong. read more

What a hidden gem! Awesome food it was nice and fresh. Friendly staff and fast service. Will be there again the next time I'm in town!

I love the food & family atmosphere. It being so close to our home, we usually call in an order rather than dine in. The service is always amazing, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. I strongly suggest the wonton soup, orange chicken, and shrimp mein fun. We have tried other things but those tend to be our "go to" orders. read more
