Buffet is AMAZING!!! Best Chinese place in town, cheap but bold flavors. It may look like a simple small restaurant but I promise you'll be amazed by how good the food is. THE BEST CHINESE FOOD! Even after a 45 minute drive home, the food was still HOT and absolutely delicious. Crunchy, perfect Chinese egg rolls + rangoons, perfectly sticky rice, and beautiful sesame chicken with the perfect ratio of crunchiness and sauce amount. This is hands down the best Chinese food in the area, and maybe the best I've ever had! Portion sizes were wonderful, especially for the great price. If you're Asian, better to ask for Asian version; otherwise, too much sugar. I don't what I was thinking. Someone had suggested that I go to Merle's Steakhouse, but it was closed. I decided to try this place. When I was in Ohio, I used to be friends with a family running a Chinese restaurant who probably had the biggest crowd in the Cincinnati area for authentic Chinese food. They made dishes as close to what you'd find in China as you could get almost anywhere. China Fun isn't that place, but there is no competition in Alma. I ordered the Broccoli in Garlic Sauce and a Mountain Dew. It was over $10, which was a bit shocking, considering the food elsewhere in town. I paid it and hoped for something really good. What I got was so sweet that I almost couldn't eat it. After a while, the woman running the place asked me how it was. I apologized and told her that it was so sweet that it was difficult to eat. We talked a little about their typical customers and I understood. They're the only Asians here. She took it back and they re-did the sauce, Asian-style. It tasted more like garlic, less like Aunt Jemima's pancake syrup fell on it. It was good this time. I felt bad about complaining but wow. She was friendly, and I could see that they go tremendously fast because they have a busy business. read more

Extremely disappointed. When walking in we were shocked by a seven-year-old operating the cash register. We asked if we see ourselves however he couldn't speak any English so after a strange five Minute silence we decided to seat ourselves. We waited about 15 minutes expecting someone to offer us water or even a menu. We then went up to ask the young man for a menu. We then waited about another 15 minutes and finally left because no one would serve us. There was one or two people in there. I'm not sure how they were able to order food. read more

Food was fresh and very tasty. The combination plates are a good deal and HUGE! Comes with a main dish, fried rice and an egg roll. Service was very friendly. Less than $7 for the buffet, great shrimp but it does not last long. They do make sure that you have enough to drink by coming out and checking your glass. The plastic forks and plastic spoons that can cut your lip at times are the only drawback. Other than that great buffet and great for the kids. read more
