Hands down one of the cleanest, most convenient parks in the Irvine area!…read more There are several baseball fields, tons of gated tennis courts, playgrounds for the kids, countless picnic areas that are numbered for parties and gatherings. I think what makes this park stand out is the crowd. Any park can be beautiful but, without the proper maintenance from the park crew (and most importantly the park goers) it doesn't stand a chance. You see tons of regulars here with their dogs, families, kids. Everyone is friendly and respectful of one another. The dog crowd at this park is also one of the best I've seen. Although the park is not off leash, there's wide open areas for you to allow your fur family to play catch, run around, and have a bit of freedom! They do have a couple of posts that have doggie bags however, they run out quick so please do come prepared with your own poop bags just in case! There are plenty of water fountains throughout with water filling stations attached, so don't forget a bowl for your fur family!!

There is also a large playground at the park where you can bring your kids. A lot of people start here to go cycling down the Santa Ana River Trail. This is a great place to bring your dog as well. Bill Barber is located in the same lot as the Irvine City Hall and Police Department.

I believe climbing on it might have a price, but it also might be free now. Im most interested in checking out what else we can do here. There are cooking classes that are associated with student vs. member fees. The only thing that sucks is that if you want to work out here you need to have a parking permit which is a whole membership fee within itself.

The arc during the school year is always crowded, but I love the amount of equipment there is and…read morethe number of rooms they have. The only thing is the customer service is incredibly poor. The two times that I have come in and then ask for the workers to set up a badminton net it was obvious that they were reluctant and annoyed. Especially today. I came in today around 1pm and checked in. After coming in, I asked for them to set up a badminton court, and I could tell right away that all the three girls were annoyed. One of the girls that I was directly talking to asked, "Did you check yet" in a rude tone. Which is fair considering I came in and just asked for it right away. But even when telling them that my friend that was already in there checked, they still were annoyed and looked like they couldn't believe me. They only started setting up when another person came by to ask to set up the net. I get that it's just a part time job, but these workers have some attitude doing a job that they signed up for.
