On the weekend of March 7 & 8, 2026, I had the fun opportunity to attend the PPA Tour - SXY Newport Beach Open Semi-Finals Saturday and Championship Sunday. This wonderful venue was held at The Tennis & Pickleball Club in Newport Beach. It was walking distance from Fashion Island, but I ended up parking nearby and got shuttled to the event. Check-in was easy. Line went really fast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tennis and pickleball courts were really nice and well maintained. Both Semi-Finals and Championship matches were held at the Humana Championship Court. Seating was not pre-assigned... first come first served. I was lucky to get pretty good seats on both days.
