I love this park! I was picking up my oldest nephew nearby, and decided to drive in and check this place out. I also had my younger daughter with me and younger nephew, in tow. Their ages are 10, 4, and 16 months. They all enjoyed themselves, as did I.
There is plenty of parking, since it borders an elementary school. The playground structures are great. They have awnings covering them, which provide great shade, in the hot sun. There are also two regular, and two toddler swings. The sand is very fine and well maintained (gardners or city employees had actually raked it). There are several plastic benches to sit on and picnic tables to eat upon. They had bathrooms, but it appeared to have some code. Luckily we didn't have to go!
They had a fun tire swing too! The park uses the rubber padded surface, which cushions falls and also didn't get hot, on a high summer day. We'll be back to play, soon! read more
