Richard arrived promptly, listened to me describe what had been happening with the furnaces, and then very patiently and thoroughly checked and tested both units. He was very patient and explained what he was doing. I am a woman but I am the "handy person" in our house and many times technicians will assume that I am clueless. Richard fixed the problem (there was condensate trapped in the line) and then stayed to make sure the systems were running correctly. It was an absolute delight to work with him and I will never go back to my old HVAC service again. Side note: Sun charged me less to fix the problem than what my old HVAC company charged for the service call that yielded no diagnosis or fix.

When I asked Hage Energy to come and look at the issue they told me that my unit was too old and the compressor had to work too hard which caused the breaker to trip. They recommended a new system and because the freon was the old type they had the replace everything, both units inside and outside. Together It was $8000 which was a lot for this unit. Now after 8 months it is hot again and the breaker is tripping still when it is hot. Last week they send out a technician who showed on his multimeter that the amps where OK (15 amps) and that the breaker box needs to be changed. He then spent 2 hours in my home just to end up using Freon and charging $300. The issue still wasn't fixed, but instead of a refund the company offered to come back and repair it for no additional charge. Well turns out the issue was something completely different and they wanted to charge me $600 to fix what they told me would be no charge. But as a "courtesy" they'd deduct the initial $300 from when they didn't repair it first. After coming to completely rig and destroy my unit they harassed me for money and the unit went out AGAIN a week and a half later and will cost thousands to repair what they rigged together using zipties and leaving loose wires out. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!
