This business is a rare find in today's environment. I had an estimate of $22500 and one for $15000 and they came out and told me it was not time to change the peat in my septic system. Ashley Septic Service has been providing degraded service. Used in them in past and they were good. Was always late to the appointment but they did show. Now they tell me I have to dig the hole due to the ground being dry. So we schedule an appointment two weeks ahead and took off work to meet their schedule. Got a call today. Due to rain they will not come out tomorrow. I explain I took off work and they would not come. The lady at Ashley said get someone else. So I called Five Star Septic. 10 star service by Mr German from Five Star Septic! Called at 4pm after Ashley canceled on me and Five Star offered and came at 7:30am the next day. . Five Star Septic came out despite the weather forecast. Five Star is a ten star company. read more

Happily used this company for 30 years however they have now decided that they no longer have time to dig tanks & they cancelled my upcoming regular maintenance/pumping appointment. Their web site does not indicate this information or their service area. Consider looking elsewhere. read more

The typical house requires maintenance and repair regularly. When you come across a company who clearly performs well above the competition levels, be happy. Compared to electrical and indoor plumbing, the least attractive may be septic work if you have one of these systems in your house. Here for over 30 years, I've had some repairs done to our system. Ashley's Septic Services has earned the position of 'head and shoulders above the competition'. Twice they have answered my call and provided superb service. The second call was close to an emergency in nature. Ashley's managed to quickly fit me into their loaded schedule and arrived soon after my call. Obviously, I highly recommend them. read more

We've been using Ashley's since we moved to Lorton in 1976. We've never had any problems with them. The only time they haven't made a scheduled appointment was ewhen it was too muddy to get the truck into position without tearing up the lawn. read more

They say good things happen to good people. Right? Well, I must be a good person because I scrambled around and picked out Ashley's Septic Service to clean my tank and pump chamber. They were there promptly and proceeded to satisfy their end of the bargain, leaving things looking better than when they arrived. I was impressed by their professional approach and by the company reps who did it all. Very nice job. Incidentally, my calls to the Ashley office were always answered cheerfully by someone with a pleasant disposition. Good company. read more

We had the most unprofessional experience we have ever had with a business. They first came out and could not find the tank. The employee, who was polite and professional, indicated that they would need to get the location from county records and then reschedule. Not really a problem so far...things happen. They then called us, said they got the survey and found the tank, and scheduled an appointment for 14 June. We called them on the morning of 14 June to get a precise time they would arrive, and the individual who answered the phone indicated that they did not have time to find the septic tank, would not come out that day, and directed us to find someone else. No attempt to reschedule, just a flat refusal to even attempt to complete the job. The individual also said that she was getting ready to mail us notification (which would not arrive until several days after the appointment at best). So they just weren't going to show up and weren't going to inform us! The individual then blamed us for the whole situation. Add to that their refusal to complete a job they had already agreed to because it would be inconveniently time consuming and you get a picture of what I consider to be a very unprofessional business. I certainly would not trust them to show up for a scheduled appointment; doing it right might be inconvenient. Incredible! read more
