i hired Septiclean to pump out my septic tank. They subcontracted to job to Extreme PSI. They did the pump out , but left the lawn a mess. Instead of lifting the small section of sod to access the septic tank drain they left a pile of dirt mixed with the grass sections. their response was "we do not do land scaping". I called SeptiClean and spoke with Deena she is knowledgeable, friendly, and a great salesperson. I asked her what they charge to pump out the septic tank and I was surprised to hear that they beat the competition by $150. She did say they were booked up for a few weeks, but she would try to squeeze me in. The following week they were coming out on Monday, but it snowed. I received a phone call promptly from Deena informing me that the roads were not safe and they will be out at noon the next day. The next day came, and they showed up a few minutes early. I was greeted by a gentleman from Extreme PSI he told me they were here to pump out the septic, and they work with SeptiClean when they get busy. In short, they did a fantastic job! They did not disturb any of the surrounding grass or soil. The were very careful with my property as the truck weighed a lot and they were worried it might slide down the inclined driveway. The supervisor let me know that they parked at the top of hill and will run extra hose needed to compensate for the distance. Septiclean provided excellent service to correct a grinder pump issue I had earlier this year. My 4 year old Zoeller E840 Duplex system went into alarm (which I did not expect to happen for several years given the capacity of this system vs my residence). Mason from Septiclean came out the same day to diagnose the problem. Turned out to be a rusted flange at the base of the pump, taking that pump out of operation. Mason and his crew reconfigured me for single-pump operation while placing the replacement part on order. In the end, both flanges and one of the pumps needed to be replaced. Due to out-of-production parts it took a month to fully resolve all issues. Throughout that time Mason was dogged in working the supply chain and incredibly responsive to my many status calls. Despite numerous trips to my house to make adjustments to the temporary setup, the final price for the entire effort was quite reasonable. His crew was highly professional in conducting all repair work. I'll be having Septiclean come out periodically to clean grinder tank and inspect the pumps to avoid future troubles. read more

Very poor customer service and terrible inspection service. They were paid to do a septic inspection and missed a huge portion of the inspection resulting in an additional $4K in repairs. Talked to 3 staff members (including the owner) who promised that they would cover the expenses and then they disappeared. No replies, no call backs, no texts after being given weeks to make it right. read more

My ejector pump was in alarm. and panic would normally ensue but I called Septiclean and left a message. very quickly a lady called me back , schedueld an appointment for the next morning and I settled in to reducing water use in the house for the afternoon. I will spare you the details , but once again a friendly , skilled tech ( who apparently is a relative in this family owned business) and I am back pumping out the tank in no time , with a more than fair service visit price. He also gave me solid education on things to do and not do to keep the system running for a long time. Clearly cared about us vs the quick buck. If you have a pressure sewer system with a holding tank , do not waste your time on the "big name" advertising plumbing companies, all you will get is an estimate for thousands of dollars because they really don't have a clue on these systems. Chase and Mason arrived on time and were friendly and great to talk with, as they throughly communicated the workings of the system and gave good information about the do's and don't of operating on septic. The driver refused to pump our system. Tried to explain that it is broken and needed to get pumped every two weeks waiting for approval for a new system. He proceeded to tell me I was wrong and he wasn't going to pump it. Extremely rude, arrogant, and did not listen. I told him if he wasn't going to pump it I would get someone else. Just got a bill in the mail for $75 because apparently I told him not to pump it! The office lady was just as rude. Advantage Septic came out immediately, looked at the problem and confirmed necessity to pump. I would definitely recommend Advantage. BUT the real reason they are so great is that when I was selling my home I had a ton of questions for them and they were patient and answered all of them - even though they knew it wasn't getting them any money or business. I believe this to be a corrupt company. I looked at my receipts and I have used them once per year to have septic tanks pumped, then they tried a scam to get me to replace the pumps. And now I look at the tank and even though I have paid to have it pumped it is still full. read more

Used them multiple times in the past. They are responsive, professional and have always been up front about cost, what was performed. One of the 1 star ratings was for someone who obviously does not understand how septic systems work, pumping removes the solid matter, not the liquid...and it should not be empty...
