After getting two conflicting reports concerning our septic, we got a referral for All-Star from a friend who oversees property at Oatlands ,south of Leesburg. All Star has a terrific website (check it out) and they have advanced tech camera to check out problems, a real plus. They showed up on time, were very professional and personable, After finding the problem, roots in the distribution boxes, it was fixed. Also they replaced our cast iron "T" from house to holding tank & addressed a faulty float on sump pump. Also they upgraded the septic distribution boxes at the suggestion of the inspector for Loudoun Co. Sanitation. All work met with the approval of the final inspection of the Sanitation Dept. with no problems. Chris took care of contacting the Sanitation Depart to make arrangements for all inspections. He also referred us to a master electrician to upgrade the sump pump electrical to code. The electrician, Jeff, came on time the following day (see our Yelp review of JML Electricians of Manassas), and did a terrific job. All Star takes credit cards, which is wonderful. There is a winery in the family and after discussing our interest in wine, Chris introduced us to Desert Rose Ranch and Winery and gave us a bottle of Cabernet which was excellent for a Virginia Wine. All Star Septic did a great job. As a homeowner and a professional mover, I know all too well how difficult it is to please some people despite 150% effort to do so. I honestly read the poor review after I had already scheduled my appointment with Mr. Boucher's office. As with my customers, I try to remember that they may be having the worst day of their life, maybe, while at the same time, I'm having the same. I always see improvements needed in others' work as well, if not moreso, than my own, and All Star was no exception. But, we are all human and have differing ideas as to what defines perfection. Although not perfect by my standards, All Star did the job in a timely manner and quality workmanship. I did my homework about bacteria 7 years ago when RidX sold me their product(cheap) only to come back later saying I needed this other RidX product for it to work properly. You, indeed, may well find septic bacteria much cheaper, but, as with most professional cleaners, or what have you, the professional "make" of a product is almost always superior to it's homeowner or do-it-yourself layperson "make". If nothing else, I have learned that 1 bad review simply means 1 bad day at most. 1 day out of 20 years just proved to me that there may be "more to the story"! read more

All Star Septic: If your place has a septic system then read on. All Star damaged my property with their pump truck, but accidents do happen. I contacted the owner, Chris Boucher, and after a long conversation, he promised to fix the broken item. He did, but it was a very poor job. In the end, it was not worth the hassle of taking him to court. Not for a couple of hundred of dollars. The topper was when he left the wife with 'custom' septic bacteria (available at Home Depot) for 5x what it was worth. She thought it was part of the service. When I read the bill, we were charged $50.00 for what would cost $10 at the hardware store. He also tried to sell an expensive, plastic manhole to cover the buried septic tank. Thank God she did not fall for that one. Why you would want to view an ugly plastic manhole cover in you yard rather than keeping it buried with sod is truly beyond me. Had lingering septic problems at a small rental house on the farm. Tree roots had grown into the system that probably goes back 50 years. Had the trees cut down, located the tank and then found All Star Septic to pump the tank and lay a new line from the house to the tank. Chris did a great job and made it easy on me. Price was fair for each of us, and he finished the job by seeding and strawing the area that had been trenched. It's a thankless job operating a "honey wagon," and I am most grateful to Chris and All Star Septic for helping me solve those issues. read more

These guys are the best! They quickly responded to an emergency call to unblock the septic tank and returned the next business day to pump the tank. The friendly, professional and hard-working crew persevered over a much neglected, nasty tank and somehow kept a sense of humor. All Star Septic has always been prompt and honest when we needed help with the septic system. Ours is not gravity feed, so there are floats and a pump which wear out over time. Chris understands the system and has provided amazing service, always recommending and installing/servicing what is needed and not trying to sell me more than what I need.
