I have been looking at various places and this is by far the worst!!! Don't stop here or waste your time!! First, even though I had an appointment no one came up to us or offered any help. After 20+ minutes we finally pulled someone over. They also don't offer much assistance at all getting in or out of the dresses nor were they able to offer any information on the type/ styles you were looking at. But the WORST PART was that the young girl helping me not only had no clue about the dresses but also decided to tell me how she didn't feel like staying any later to work. She then went into a story about how she had just found out her boyfriend was cheating on her etc. Extremely inappropriate, unprofessional and sooo awkward when you are trying on wedding dresses. I honestly just wanted to leave. I quickly tried on a few but decided to not get anything or go back. Even if I had found a dress I would not get it here. This place is small, poorly lit, and has terrible staff. Please please don't waste your time. read more

Connie is phenomenal! My alterations were perfect. I even asked to take out a layer after a minor melt down at home and she fit me in and redid it for me. She is calm, very talented and makes any potential issue seem minor. Highly recommend. read more

We just got our wedding pictures back, and I am absolutely in love with the BEAUTIFUL job John and Connie did with me and my girls! I've been getting nonstop compliments on the gorgeous dresses ever since our wedding in May. I read the other negative reviews and yes, dresses can take longer than expected to come in. It happens. But it's worth the wait! If you give yourself plenty of time, there won't be a problem. I contacted Ashley's Bridal Shoppe after my daughter found her prom dress there for about $30 less than everyone else was selling it for. They said they had it in stock and would be able to ship it out in a couple of days. I went ahead and ordered it online. I realized too late that there was no information on the shipping costs, after they had charged my VISA for the dress. I emailed them that I needed the dress shipped and was informed that it would be $30.00 to ship it! I was shocked at the price since the dress just came in a plastic bag inside a a small box. First of all, they did NOT have it in stock and it took much longer than I anticipated for them to receive it. I did ask that they pay for the additional shipping to get it to me express mail and they said they would pay for the shipping upgrade. They informed me that they also waived their "handling fee". I did not see anything about shipping costs or any kind of handling fee when I went to purchase the dress so that was a surprise, too. Did get the dress in time for prom, so that was a relief, but I will never purchase from this store again because of all the hidden fees, and I do mean HIDDEN as in not disclosed up front. The dress came in good condition and that is about the only positive. read more

I had the absolute worst experience at Ashley's bridal. I had already been to three other bridal salons, all with great customer service, so I couldn't believe the horrible service provided here. First off, I had a male consultant who wouldn't come in the dressing room with me, which I totally understood. However, I had to put intricate poofy dresses on myself without any help, which was pretty difficult. When I came out of the dressing room, my consultant barely clipped me into the dress so it was hard to tell how they looked on because the dresses still looked baggy. The store is very small and during my scheduled appointment, numerous people came in without appointments. They were allowed to walk around while I tried on the gowns so there was at least 3 or 4 other people in this tiny section of the store with me while I tried on dresses. My consultant would also disappear to help these people; at one point I had to have my bridesmaid zip me up in a dress. Let me point out again that I had a scheduled appointment for this time - the other people in the store did not. They also NEVER asked me what my budget was, which is very strange and unprofessional. I found a couple of dresses that I liked but I would never even consider purchasing a dress here. I felt rushed, uncomfortable, and could not wait to get out of there! Even if I found my dream dress that day, I would never purchase it at Ashley's Bridal. Definitely not how a bride should feel when picking out her wedding gown. Do not bother wasting your time here- no attention or care given to the customer at all. read more

My wedding is 6 months away, and I ordered my gown at about 11 months out. My dress came in earlier than expected (yay!) and they called right away to let me know. I have had communication with Connie and John (owners), and it has always been professional and timely. So, I really want to rave about Connie - I cannot give this woman enough praise!! When my dress came in early, she gave me the option of them holding onto it for a bit, or starting alterations right away (no pressure). I said let's go for it, and go for it we have!! Connie has been SO attentive to every detail. My dress has a lace overlay, and needed quite a few alterations (hem, taken in, shorten straps, shorten strap width), and her work is MAGICAL!! I didn't know how one could cut and sew lace and still have it look seamless, but she did it! I also voiced to her that I wanted the girls to really shine (I have a slim, "athletic" build) and she was able to deliver! She recommended various undergarments, altered the dress, and gave me advice like a friend would, while remaining completely professional. My dress fits like a dream, all over!! There were alterations I would never have thought of (not super into fashion, clothes, etc.), and would've been fine leaving, but she picked out everything she saw, brought it to my attention, asked my opinion, and made changes I am so pleased with! She catches every stray thread, and every wrinkle. ALSO - her immaculate work is totally affordable. I was surprised with the alterations bill, lower than I expected for how much time she put in! I can't recommend this bridal salon enough. read more

It is amazing how customer service can truly be dead at some places...Ashley's Bridal (228 York Rd Warminster, PA 18974) is one of them. While the staff at the store are pleasant, they take no responsibility for dresses coming in the wrong color. I was shown a swatch of a dress that I was looking to order for my bridesmaids and the swatch book had swatches on top of each other. It was impossible for me to know at the time that the orange swatch that I was seeing at the moment appeared darker because of the brown swatch under it...after all who knows that you should pick up the swatch by itself - I think most don't. I ordered 9 dresses in the color and was excited! My excitement turned into crying when the dresses came in and were a much brighter and bolder color than I anticipated. The owner, John, refused to admit that there was any wrong doing and insisted that the color was correct to him and there was nothing he could do about it. It is amazing that people decide to get into an industry that they know will be filled with an emotional customer, yet decide to make no concessions when it comes to customer service. John offered no compromises. He only offered to send a dress to the manufacture, which couldn't be done since this was the beginning of September and my wedding was in the beginning of October. I have never dealt with someone who was so unrelenting in pleasing a customer that was completely unsatisfied. Colors are very subjective - I know many people that are color blind, yet John continued to tell me that it looked like the right color to him. I even emailed the other location to file a complaint, however they never responded. I think he may run both stores, so beware of both locations! I will NEVER go back to Ashley's Bridal and advise that all brides BEWARE, lest your wedding colors you've been dreaming of not come true!! read more

Ashley's Bridal was fantastic! They were so patient as I tried on dress after dress, and I finally found the most fantastic Maggie Sottero gown. Connie was amazing with the alterations, which weren't simple. I added straps to my dress, and the dress needed plenty of tailoring to fit me perfectly. After a few unsuccessful attempts at other boutiques, I worked with Connie, who owns Ashley's Bridal. Connie was so much fun to work with and did an incredible job on my dress. I came in with a specific look in mind and after trying on multiple dresses without having a moment, she gently suggested I try on a different style that I hadn't considered before. I immediately found my dress from the first and only one she picked out for me. I did have quite a few suggestions on some changes I wanted to make to the dress and Connie was always helpful, knowledgeable and realistic about what could be achieved. Her attention to detail is nothing short of amazing and she always made me feel at ease throughout the process. The final product was a dress that was better than I could have ever imagined. Not only were her alterations intricate, but they were VERY reasonable and all you have to do is ask. I would highly recommend working with her! read more

I drove quite a distance to try on wedding gowns at this shop. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, there was no one available to assist me. After nearly a half hour of waiting, someone assisted me while multi-tasking with other customers. The shop was small and overall I was just not impressed. read more

Ashley's Bridal was wonderful to work with. They were my first stop when looking for wedding gowns because I favored a designer they carried. After looking around I wound up going back to them because they had my dream dress. I actually wound up getting my bridesmaids dresses as well as the grooms tuxes from there too. They had a great variety. They are very friendly and know you by name. Their hours are flexible and their staff knowledgeable. I had a great experience with Ashley's Bridal and truly enjoyed making appointments and coming in to see them throughout the wedding process to try on my gown and have alterations done. I wish I could give them zero stars. Completely incompetent. They messed up sizes on 2/5 bridesmaid dresses, that's a pretty high rate of failure. And turn they won't even admit to making a mistake, just keep coming up with bad excuses. Very disrespectful. Something bad has to go wrong with every wedding and picking Ashley's bridal was my mistake. Awful service and dirty shop that's not handicap accessible. We ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses in March for a September wedding and did not receive them till August which was fine except the dresses were incorrect. The dresses that arrived were the wrong length, material and sizes. The wedding would be over by the time the correct dresses were manufactured. The party canceled the order but the owner would not refund the deposits. It was such a hassle. The owner is very difficult and I would not recommend them. There are other places to find nice dresses. read more

My mother and I went to look for her mother of the bride gown. The lights went out and we were left alone for over a half an hour. Finally, both my mother and I, and the other group of girls that were also waiting for assistance, finally left when no one was there to answer our questions or provide us with assistance. read more

I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from here because they were cheaper than most other shops, but if I had to do it all over again I would not choose Ashley's. The shop needs a major upgrade. There is little room to walk and just looks unorganized. I was told that if I ordered my dresses by October 1st that they would be in by January. That was not the case. I called in January and was told that they were delayed due to the Chinese New Year (wtf??) and to give it a few more weeks. I called by Feb and was told the same thing. Finally the end of Feb they were shipped out only after complaining. 2 of the girls dresses were too small and too large (the girls were measured by the shop). I would not recommend this place to anyone. You can get better service at another place even if you have to pay a bit more. As a bride I did not need the extra aggravation of not knowing when my dresses would come in. read more
