Have made multiple calls to the store and spoke with two females who told me they would look into it and never received a return call. Salesman even had us pick a date for delivery and took off work. Buyer beware of Warranty. I bought a couch, recliner, hightop table with chairs. We have been very pleased with the couch and recliner. With that said wepaid over $500 for a 5 year warranty. I can't stress enough to read the fine print. If you dont report what is damaged within 30 days they refuse to honor the warranty. Then you have to submit a form, receipts, diagram of where the damage is and at least 5 pictures. They definitely make it so time consuming I bet they hope not too many people follow through with the claim. Also when submitting the claim they will refuse to honor it if the claim paperwork is not in within 30 days of requesting a claim. They also take at least 5 days to see if they will even repair it or deny it. The only part of the warranty process that was a positive experience is the tech that came out to do the repairs was awesome. I will never buy from them again. read more

DO NOT BUY HERE. I purchased a bedroom set in January and when it was delivered a few weeks later one of the dresser drawers was stuck closed. Because I bought the added insurances and protection packages, I figured this wouldn't be a problem. I was wrong. After several phone calls and a lack of response from corporate, I was finally able to get someone out to my home. Instead of sending out a replacement like the phone representative and my paperwork said they would, they sent out someone to bang on it in an attempt to force the drawer out. He then had to file a report saying that I wasn't lying and that either the delivery company or Ashley itself was indeed in the wrong. This caused even more of a delay. Finally today, after nearly 2 months, I got the replacement dresser. This delivery service however still was able to taint my opinion of Ashley because when they removed the mirror from the dresser they managed to strip all the screws. Bought a leather couch and recliner here. Owned it for approx. 5 months . Leather on couch started to crack at foot rest. Called because it was still under warranty . Wanted a replacement but nope sent someone to repair . He took couch apart to replace leather . Put couch back together and did not put filling back in . We called back and sent pictures . I have never experienced any business having such a low regard for customer satisfaction. I purchased living room furniture, it took a month longer than I was told to be delivered. Finally arrived and was shorted 3 pillows. Noticed the whole arm of the chaise had no filler and was sagging. I called customer service and was told that they will not replace it but send someone to pick it up and fix it. Keep in mind this is brand new furniture and they will not replace a damaged 2,500 chaise. Worst company. Chairs we bought, motor in recliner went bad. Had me trapped completely reclined. I just had back surgery. Took 5 weeks before we could get it fixed. Tech came out. Both motors needed to be replaced for two chairs. Waited 3 weeks, called and asked where the tech was to replace the motors. Customer care said Oh, I have the order here, we forgot. Really!! The chair needs to be repaired again. Trying to pay our bill has been a nightmare every month. It took 4 months before the online site allowed me to set up an account. I made a payment. (Consumer Fraud) Ashley Furniture are liars and cheats. My wife and I went into the store on 11/1 and was told that if we order from them that the item would be delivered the week after Thanksgiving. After running our credit we were told that one of the peices wouldnt arrive until after 12/1 so to expect a delivery the next which would make it 6 weeks max on 12/9-12/13. Thats SKETCHY but ok. After 6 full weeks on 12/13 we decied to call and was told on the phone that they were waiting for one peice to be shipped to the warehouse and that piece should arrive on 12/16 or 12/17. We called again on 12/17 and was told that they were now waiting on 2 peices and those 2 peices should arrive on 12/19. How does it go from 1 peice to 2 peices all of a sudden? SUPER SKETCHY. We called again on 12/19 and was told that now there is a peice on back order and no clue or explanation to when it will be deliveried. We host family for the holiday every year and this is causing our family a major inconvenience. We are left in the dark about a major purchase. I will advice anyone looking to buy from here to not but from here and look into other stores who horror their word like "Rooms to Go" , "Wayfair" heck even "Value City furniture". We purchased a living room set on March 6th. According to the salesperson it would arrive in 5-7 weeks. We had heard nothing so we called the store at the eight week mark. The very kind customer service woman notified me that our items were back ordered. This explains why the saleswoman did not give us a paper receipt but instead emailed the receipt after payment was received. After learning of the back order we were told that the local store manager would call us within 24 hours which he did. I was pleased to be informed that my furniture would arrive on May 20th and they allowed me to pick my deliver day of May 26th. Upon calling prior to delivery date for a more specific time so I could ensure I would be home, I was told my furniture was back ordered until July, and that I should not feel alone because 32 other people are waiting for the same set. Thirty two disappointed customers, as if this should be reassuring. We've requested a discount with no call back and I can only imagine when my furniture will be delivered. Buyer beware, they will take your money for furniture they know they can't get and make excuses blaming Covid or a winter storm in Texas. Thank you to Grand Home furnishings who was miraculously able to get our new bedroom set delivered in UNDER the two weeks promised. Terrible experience. We ordered our furniture a little more than 6 weeks ago. We were told BEFORE we purchased that we should get our order in 2 -3 weeks MAX. Otherwise we would not have ordered it! After an unpleasant experience scheduling delivery, we finally got our furniture yesterday. Delivery guys were nice enough. They did leave a balled up plastic bag in my front yard though. I went to put felt pads on the new tables legs so they wouldn't scratch my wood floors. As I turned the 1st one over, I got 3 splinters in my fingers. Awesome. There are also loose threads on some of the throw pillows and a scratch on the bottom front of my entry console table. Nothing worth the hassle of returning them... I can't imagine how awful that would be!! Bottom line: know that If they fail to deliver in a respectable amount of time, you have no recourse. It would cost us a great deal in restocking fees plus only getting a refund in store credit to cancel so we've been stuck with this order long after we needed it and it should have arrived. I wish we could have cancelled this order weeks ago when I first tried. Several attempts to reach a manager got me no where. He was always either, "out to lunch" or "already left for the day". March of this year went to Ashley in Winchester VA ordered a sectional we expected it to take longer than normal. They gave us a date end of May. So may came they called and said we have a partial order in I told them I cant store. I want to wait on all the pieces. They gave me a new day end of June. That came and gone. Still, nothing from Ashley I called numerous times left a voicemail. I had to walk in the store to talk to someone I asked wheres my furniture they now told me July 12 there are 3 of the 7 pieces of the sectional not in. I asked why am I not getting a call back she said its just me here. That's no reason to not call someone wheres the customer service???? I left gave them on July 12th no furniture no update. Called the office the same voicemail left multiple voicemails. I had to walk back into the store just to get anyone to speak with me. July 18 I walked back in and said I am done waiting and never able to talk to someone I want my money back. I canceled she said it would be 7 to 14 days to get a call from the refund department to get my money back. I left and never heard anything from anyone. I walked back into the store again and said why is no one calling me. She said there's nothing she can do but call to see where it is in process. I left that store wanting to stand out front and warn people never to buy from Ashley. I don't understand how they are still in business. When I placed the order, i was told I would have the items in 3-5 week (as I needed them for out of town guests), then when I didn't get the items within that specified time-frame, I called and they said it would come the following week (a week too late) and they would not issue a refund (Ok, whatever, it sucks but I guess I had to wait the extra week). Then When I called yesterday for an update (since no one had still called to schedule a delivery time), they informed me that it will be another 4-5 weeks before my items would arrive in their warehouse! Update- as if they couldn't get any more unprofessional. They showed up to the house today with the "new" couch that they were "waiting on" and low and behold- damaged. Right in the front where it's not even discreet. I suspect this is the same damaged chair that the original delivery man refused to bring last week. The new delivery guys got the agent on the phone and she told me my only two options were wait for a technician to come out and fix the chair or refuse it and wait for a new one to be delivered. I asked when the technician could come to fix this one and she said 'oh well he's working Tuesdays but I don't know when he'll be in your area'. She could me absolutely no estimate or time frame when he would be in my area which- apparently is outside of normal servicing areas- aka 20 minutes from the store. Which was not a problem when they charged my card same day obviously. I then asked her what the timeframe would be to wait for a new couch to be delivered to the store if I refused this one, which was supposedly what was happening between the first visit and this one. Bought a $1500 reclining love seat at Ashley's. It seemed nice in the store but when we go it delivered we realized it was uncomfortable & didn't meet our expectations. They do not accept returns of any kind after delivery. Fortunately we bought the warranty because it's poorly made and falling apart already BUT we've been waiting two months for them to come repair it. One side of the foot rest did not have cushioning covering the entire footrest so your leg rests on hard wood. The other side of the foot rest started unraveling after two weeks and has cotton coming out. We will NEVER buy anything from Ashley's again. I didn't realize they would not accept returns or offer store credit after delivery. I also didn't realize they make all of their own furniture and it is obviously very poor quality. read more

I was told when I purchased I could get delivery on Friday, but since it was so far out they could not schedule delivery though. I was told to call at the beginning of October to schedule delivery. When I called I was told that I couldn't schedule unless the items were in the warehouse. Was never told that but okay. Was told someone would contact me when it came in. 6 days later I finally heard. Tried to schedule Friday as I asked and was told they do not deliver in my area on Friday. Either Wednesday or Saturday. I was not happy and was told when I called 6 days earlier that a request for delivery exception could be made if needed, but not for the day. Maddening already. They passed my info to the store. The salesperson texted me, seriously not even a phone call. But promised to make it right. I was relieved. I thought maybe I was making progress. He strongly suggested a discount would happen. The next week I hadn't heard anything so I texted him twice. After no response I went to the store and spoke to Morgan. I showed her the text and she let me know she would get the delivery scheduled, and a request for a discount submitted and that it takes a few days. She assured me I should hear around the weekend. It is now a week later and I have not heard anything. I called today after no update, no check in, nothing. Was told it would just be a waiting game. I either need to schedule delivery or cancel this order, but I refuse to accept delivery at this point without a hefty discount due to the stress and time I have had to do for this crap. I told her to cancel the order. She told me she has to put in a request for that. She also told me there will be a 30% restocking fee. No way. I will flip. I asked to speak to the manager and he was not in. I will talk to him tomorrow. I want the money refunded, immediately, and in full at this point and will accept nothing less. Ashley HomeStore has to have the worst customer service and policies than any place I have ever seen. Not only did I wait 9 weeks to have a desk delivered but it was scratched, not well built and the delivery people damaged it even more. I have spent a week and a half trying to get someone to either replace or refund the money and kept getting the run around. Of course it had to be paid in full including shipping when it was ordered on September 4th. I was told a "technician" would have to inspect it before anything else could happen and they couldn't come out for another two weeks, which puts us at the end of November. So, I went to the store today with my parents to try and get somewhere and the manager said he couldn't do anything as well but call customer service tomorrow, which is in Fredericksburg. Got some of the furniture in September. I was supposed to have another delivery this Tuesday. They ended up leaving one bar stool. I paid for my items on 8/1/20. I was told the pick up date was 8/27. It is now 10/5 and as of today I was told possibly 10/20/20. I asked about a refund and it has to go through corporate for them to determine, but they encourage me to exchange for something available. If I wanted something else, I would have purchased that. Not to mention I have had the salesman hang up on me twice because he kept trying to transfer me after I called several times and left voice messages and didn't receive a call back. I'm sure him knowing we were about to spend 10 grand helped out a lot. Then it was time for our delivery. Let me say this before I continue, he knew we had a delicate circumstance going with the death of my son in law on top of moving into a new house all in the same week. Delivery scheduled between 8-12 the following week. 12 PM comes and no delivery. 1 PM comes and still no sign. I then attempt to call which is like pulling teeth trying to get someone to answer and help. I texted our salesman with no response back BUT I then finally get someone to call me at 3:20 PM and tell me my delivery has been canceled and rescheduled due to the majority of my order no in stock. I was without any furnishings for 1 month and then little by little, we start get things delivered. This is after another scheduled delivery for the following week only to get canceled again due to items no being in stock. Again. It has been 5 months and I am still waiting for the last piece of furniture. Never EVER will I go through Ashley again and I warn people every chance I get not to deal with them either. All that they compensated me for this enormous headache was the delivery fee plus $400. I spent $9,457 dollars with them! If I could ever get anyone to answer the phone I would tell them how badly I've been treated and how unfair they have been. My daughter gave birth to my grandson on the same day she buried her husband, so we had nowhere for friends and family to sit and grieve or come celebrate the birth, my children sat on crates for 2 months while we waited on the kitchen table and chairs. My husband and I slept on our mattress on the floor because the footboard to the bed was on backorder and took 2 months to come in and we sat on a blow-up mattress in the living room for 2 months waiting on the sectional. I still have yet to have a manager call me back to discuss this even after leaving several voicemails. This has been a very expensive lesson, but one well learned. read more

Firstly, the customer service was very poor. The man had no input other than reading the sign posted in front of the furniture. I look young for my age, so maybe he didn't think I would be a good sell but even after purchasing 2 rooms of furniture, he still was not a professional. Secondly, the delivery for my bedroom set was more than two hours late outside of the scheduled time. Thirdly, I'd love to rate the living room furniture but I still haven't received it. I've gone through the process of setting up delivery TWICE yet both couches were damaged during the review, BOTH times. So FOUR couches have been damaged. Having a broken left end recliner delivery also with scratch and torn mark, that has not been fix or replace. That they will have to send someone to fix the broken mechanism and someone to pull the whole damaged leather upholstery off and replace it. How about replace the whole recliner. I was excited to finally order new living room furniture after 15 years with my old couch and tables! I really just wanted a couch but the tables looked great with it so I added those. Spent almost $2,000 that included the warranty and delivery charges. That was 6 weeks ago! It still hasn't come into their warehouse! The sales receipt says 3-4 weeks delivery. I've called 3 times now and get the same story - it's been pushed back to next week - we'll call you as soon as it comes in!. That is not acceptable! I paid for it in full. I expected delivery asap! We purchased furniture from Ashley with the knowledge we were moving out of state. They gave us specific instructions not to unpack the boxes for easier transport. And, highly recommended purchasing the insurance in case there was a problem. When we got to the new house and unpacked the new 12,000 plus furniture, we found broken pieces and definitive scratches. When we contacted them, they stated that because we moved the furniture, we voided our warranty (which we were told would have been voided regardless had we moved the furniture from the exact spot they dropped it off) and that was what the insurance was for. When I contacted the insurance company, they stated they did not cover damage that occurred outside of the house. So now we're screwed with new furniture and neither the store nor the insurance company repairing the items. When the store manager was confronted, he sad he would address the issue with the sales person. This store promotes false advertising in order to get a sale. Never again. Unfortunately, Wyatt was off that day, but we were helped by Gary, who was just as helpful. He also ensured us that he would make sure Wyatt would get compensated since he originally helped us making our decision. Take your business elsewhere, not worth the aggravation! I ordered a dining and living room set 9/02/2018, with an estimated arrival date of 10/17//2018 (7 weeks). My sales rep left me a voicemail on 10/13 stating it is now estimated 11/08 (10 weeks). I received a call from the distribution company on 11/09 that I was scheduled for delivery on 11/13 (11 weeks). I requested a delivery time so that I wouldn't miss work and they informed me there would be a fee to reschedule for another day. I had to take the day off with no pay. Got a call the night before that the sofa wasn't up to their quality standards, therefore it would be sent at a later time. When they delivered my dining room set and part of the living room set, I had the opportunity to speak with customer service. They asked if I received everything and if I was happy, of course I said no. The gentleman, Brian stated he would set me up for Saturday delivery so that I wouldn't have to take any time off. Saturday came and not one call or text. I called and left a voicemail. This morning, (11/19) I got a call from the distribution center, but there was no one on the other end. (Hello, hello? Hello, is anyone there?) Soon after I hung up I received a text message stating delivery would be from 10-1 on Tuesday (12 weeks). Then one minute later I received another text stating delivery would be between 11-2. I had to provide last minute notice to my supervisor of another day out of work without pay, and we are already short staffed because of the holiday. Hope I don't lose my job over this. I will never buy from this company again. I paid over $2,600 cash; was unable to get a refund, only a store credit. I then requested a refund on 10/13 of the delivery charges, was told by customer service she would speak with a manager and get back to me - no one ever called me back or returned my calls. We were immediately greeted by Justin where he asked what we were looking for and told us to take our time with looking around. We were only looking for a rug, night stand and a coffee table. While we were there he wanted to show us the Temperpedic adjustable base for our mattress, which we weren't looking for but we decided to try it out since we didn't have anywhere else to be. We fell in love with it but didn't buy it at that time because we already had a bedroom set. Well, a week later our bed broke. We came into the store and knew exactly what we wanted since we came in the week before. Well, we were in luck because they were having a 50% off sale for Presidents Day! We also purchased the extended warranty for $175 which covers the adjustable base for 10 years! Totally worth it! We were sad that our previous Ashley Furniture bed broke but were happy that we got to upgrade! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. So every sales person has to get their customer to review them, it's like a game for them...whatever. Originally quoted the first week of august for delivery-we ordered around mid July. I called one day to see if an exact date, well they changed it to September. LOL. No. I changed the bed frame order so it could be delivered first week of august instead...like they originally quoted me. Didn't happen. Got 2/3 items on Wednesday the 8th... was supposed to get 3 items... didn't happen MISSING THE DAMN BED. I already changed my order so this wouldn't happen...I'm Supposed to get my bed on Saturday...we'll see if it Happens. I asked for a delivery refund they refused. Of course. The onlyyyy person I will give 5 stars to is BRITTANY BURTON. she has helped me from the beginning she was so nice and funny and patient and didn't curse me out like the other employees(granted I wasn't nice to them either) she's the only one that actually cared about my furniture. Don't be fooled by those reviews on fb it's mostly fake. Brittany burton is the only one that cares about any customers. Seriously.only freaking one. read more

Ordered 5 weeks from today and still haven't gotten my couch. 3 weeks after the order they brought a damaged couch, which revealed the quality of the wood used, very cheap material. As of now we haven't gotten the replacement and apparently they don't do refund. Very poor customer service. Would have done better with a couch from Walmart. read more
