I have been to this Front Royal Flea Market location while passing thru town a few times since…read more2015, and keep coming away with the same experience of "meh", not that impressed each time. Seems to be a location with no real focus or quality to offer or worth returning to. Mostly the location has a series of "U-shaped" plywood vendor stalls, that sellers show up daily, and populate with 'whatever' strikes a fancy! We have noticed that most items appear to be charitable-donation level personal clothing, effects, and recycled discarded items. Some sellers don't even bother to conceal the donation bags they have removed from charitable donation bins. The sellers who have produce & food items are not fresh, largely appear to be expired, or obtained from chain sellers per the boxing and packaging they are presented in. Healthcare products as well, appear to be expired and/or discarded items from retail. I would have say this location is more of a curiosity than a flea market.

Was in town for a show at the Hollywood Casino and decided to take the day to visit some of the…read morethrift stores, etc. in the area. We went when the outside vendors were not there but let me make it clear.....it is a LOT bigger inside than it looks! I went in the door and turned to the right. There are a multitude of booths run by all different people. There are booths on both sides of the aisles, but I decided to just concentrate on the ones to my right, then come back to the ones on the inner circle. Then there was another room.......and another. Meanwhile, my husband was going here and there but I had specific things in mind to look for and he knew what they were. He ended up finding me two pieces. I never finished the third large room or the other two 'inner circles' before he was ready to go. And I couldn't blame him, we had been there nearly an hour and a half. They have restrooms and coffee/cold drinks available. I believe there is a small charge for the beverages. Some of the booths were jam-packed, so watch your step and if you go, plan on giving yourself plenty of time to look around! There is definitely something for everyone here, you just need to look around! There was one booth where everything was $1, and several others that were running 20 or 25% off off so deals are to be found. I am very happy that we decided to check this place out and next time we are in the area I'm sure we will go again. Maybe in the warmer months when the outside vendors are there.

No rhyme or reason to set ups - people blocked the entire garage lanes unloading preventing others from getting by to their designated spots. Some simple common sense and courtesy goes a long way but unless you have someone directing those - forget about it.

The Harpers Ferry Gypsy Market is essentially the Phoenix rising from the ashes of the former…read moreHarpers Ferry Flea Market down the street, as a number of the Flea's vendors are here. Sadly it's not nearly as large in area, and parking is a fraction of what the Flea offered, but it's fairly well laid out, and I can envision it growing in the coming seasons. The Market itself is split into 3 sections. The west field is just a large open field and consists of your more transient vendors. The east field, on the other side of the access road, is considerably smaller, but is populated mostly by long term and "regular" vendors. The third section is the Gypsy Market, which is more of an antiques store than a flea market. It's on the same side of the access road as the east field, in a small building. I don't always have nearly as much luck finding hidden treasures as I did at the former Flea Market, but I do keep going back because, as I stated earlier in this review, I can easily see them growing as they build their reputation.
