There were over a hundred dealers set up with a mixture local produce, baked goods, antiques, household goods and junk. In addition, there are about 6-7 food trucks serving tacos, smoothies and fair type foods. There is an indoor market with specialty dealers. We arrived early and filled the car with treasures. The local produce was really nice with decent prices. I picked up a delicious cantaloupe. I also bought some flowers. Most of the dealers were interesting and friendly. It took about 90 minutes to go through everything. The walk ways are uneven, I tripped at least once, so be careful. Pets are not allowed (but I saw several dogs). All the dealers I talked with were cash only sales.

The people at the outdoor stalls are typical flea market folks, they have all kinds of items, some people are helpful others are just there to make a sale. There's a little bit of old and new stuff. Was in town for a show at the Hollywood Casino and decided to take the day to visit some of the…read morethrift stores, etc. in the area. We went when the outside vendors were not there but let me make it clear.....it is a LOT bigger inside than it looks! I went in the door and turned to the right. There are a multitude of booths run by all different people. There are booths on both sides of the aisles, but I decided to just concentrate on the ones to my right, then come back to the ones on the inner circle. Then there was another room.......and another. Meanwhile, my husband was going here and there but I had specific things in mind to look for and he knew what they were. He ended up finding me two pieces. I never finished the third large room or the other two 'inner circles' before he was ready to go. And I couldn't blame him, we had been there nearly an hour and a half. They have restrooms and coffee/cold drinks available. I believe there is a small charge for the beverages. Some of the booths were jam-packed, so watch your step and if you go, plan on giving yourself plenty of time to look around! There is definitely something for everyone here, you just need to look around! There was one booth where everything was $1, and several others that were running 20 or 25% off off so deals are to be found. I am very happy that we decided to check this place out and next time we are in the area I'm sure we will go again. Maybe in the warmer months when the outside vendors are there.

When we went inside, there was a lot to see. There are booths where different vendors sell their treasures. We didn't really see much that we were interested in unfortunately. That's pretty unusual for us. The staff also wasn't particularly friendly. No one said anything to us when we walked in and the desk is at the door. That's also unusual. Most are junk or barely minimum bids Or "0"; Because of this they are refusing drop offs and missing out on more quality items. If you didn't fill your warehouse with worthless items, you'd have more space. If they would stop taking cheap nonsense , no value items and screen what's profitable for both them and their customers, it would be worth the trip. However don't waste your time and donate it to charity! i least someone besides them would benefit! I've also experienced them refusing to take items and then see the same exact things on line? Go figure!

The Harpers Ferry Gypsy Market is essentially the Phoenix rising from the ashes of the former…read moreHarpers Ferry Flea Market down the street, as a number of the Flea's vendors are here. Sadly it's not nearly as large in area, and parking is a fraction of what the Flea offered, but it's fairly well laid out, and I can envision it growing in the coming seasons. The Market itself is split into 3 sections. The west field is just a large open field and consists of your more transient vendors. The east field, on the other side of the access road, is considerably smaller, but is populated mostly by long term and "regular" vendors. The third section is the Gypsy Market, which is more of an antiques store than a flea market. It's on the same side of the access road as the east field, in a small building. I don't always have nearly as much luck finding hidden treasures as I did at the former Flea Market, but I do keep going back because, as I stated earlier in this review, I can easily see them growing as they build their reputation.
