We returned them I don't even know when this was now truthfully, possibly 2020, we had looked online for chairs or something to use our credit as we were told, they do not give us a refund check, they just keep the credit there at the store, since then and several years have passed, they have sense closed and I guess they took other peoples credit also instead of notifying us that they were closing and issue us our amount due to us, I remember $174 and some change. Of course once I heard they were closed and wouldn't probably be honored our refund, what kind of business do they perform. I don't have an address phone or contact of any kind to get our money back.

    An update to my buying experience here: The chairs were never delivered, as I was told to wait past…read morethat 26 week mark, and make it almost a year. I ordered them with time to spare, and still, my Christmas dinner guests sat on fold out chairs. The odd part was, I was told originally that my chairs were floating around on the water somewhere and just couldn't make it to shore. Then the story changed to a problem with the distribution. So, needless to say, I canceled that order and received a full refund. Fast forward to now. I ordered a solid wood bed and a new mattress with box spring. The ONLY reason I ordered it, is because I was assured that it would be (at the absolute latest) delivered in 3 weeks. I called the store yesterday to find out the status, as I'm now at the 2 week mark. I was thrilled to hear that the bed had arrived. Then, I was incredibly angry to be told that the mattress and box spring, however, could be delayed up to another month. Again, the distributor was being blamed. While that's a cute story to try and take the blame off the staff at Robert's, it's not acceptable business practice. Basically what happens here, is they will sell items to customers and have no idea when they may actually get them, but they'll tell the customer that an item will be ready by the certain important event the customer has going on. Again, I only ordered this bed here because I was assured it would be delivered before a certain date. Had they been honest about their lack of control, I'd have gone elsewhere this time and come back to them again, later. I'm now just going to go somewhere else. Permanently.

    I searched for a few years before we bought a good mattress with a good warranty. We finally…read moredecided on one at Grand Furniture in Winchester. I have had multiple back surgeries, which made the importance to purchase an extremely good mattress, and those who worked at Grand Home told me Paramount was one of their best mattresses and the only one that had a 20 year warranty. After having the mattress for three months or less it already was sinking on both sides of our mattress, one where I lay and the other where my husband lays. I called Grand Home Furnishings in Winchester, in the first 3 months, even though it was obvious it had sags in the mattress, it wasn't sunk 3/4 of an inch so they wouldn't do anything. I then called Paramount and received the same story. 3 years later I now called Grand Home Furnishings again. My husband and I both feel like we are trying to get out of a hole every time we try to get out of bed. So I called again and as previous they sent out someone who measured the mattress. We watched as they measured the mattress which now is sunk in at 3/4 inch, and we are told it has to be sunk in 11/2 inch before the warranty would be in effect. Their measurements is taken, only when no one is sitting on the bed. I asked the people who came to check it out, to sit on the bed( they said they were not allowed). Common sense will tell anyone, if you set on a bed where one of us weighs 130 pounds and the other 280 that then you will find out what the true sink hole is, and it is definitely over 1 1/2 inches. I don't write reviews and I don't like to complain, but my husband is retired, and the pain I feel every night is unbearable. But the worse thing of it all, no one cares. Grand Furniture is real nice and helpful until they get their money, then no help. The service people said they were surprised that the mattress looked like it did because Paramount was suppose to be a good mattress company, but after calling them 3 years ago, they were no help at all. If Grand Furniture and or Paramount Furniture reads this article and you care at all of what you are selling, please come and look and sit on our bed, then tell me, what is wrong with this mattress. I don't care what anyone buys or sells, not everything is done right, it might be something happened to this one and not others, that's why I ask, please care enough about your products to come and check out this mattress. You might think you got by with not correcting this mattress but you lost a customer for life.

    I am filing a formal complaint against Bob's Furniture regarding repeated delivery failures,…read moremisleading communications, and unacceptable customer service following a fully paid purchase made at the end of December 2025. At the time of purchase, I was promised that part of my order would be delivered on January 23, 2026. I received an automated service email confirming that all items could be delivered together. I followed the instructions in that email to confirm the delivery. The following day, I received another automated message stating delivery would instead occur during the first week of February. I requested to speak with a representative to clarify the conflicting information. During that conversation, the representative incorrectly stated that I never received the first confirmation email. I provided screenshots proving that I had. I was then told the automated system "makes mistakes" and was assured that the entire order would be delivered on January 30, 2026. The representative was rude, dismissive, and repeatedly accused me of being dishonest despite the documentation I provided. On January 30, 2026, I received delivery updates throughout the day confirming the scheduled delivery. Twenty minutes after the delivery window passed, I was called and told the truck carrying my items had broken down. I requested that another truck be dispatched and was told no. I asked if I could pick up the items myself and was again told no. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was informed that no manager or supervisor was available. I was instead connected with a step-up representative. That representative stated that the white glove delivery charge would be fully reimbursed and that a store manager would contact me by the end of the day. Neither of those commitments were honored. I did not receive reimbursement, and no store manager contacted me. The step-up representative also dismissed the prior delivery failures and the current situation. I explained that I had already taken January 23 off work for a delivery that never occurred, had taken January 30 off for the second failed delivery, and would now be forced to take another day off on February 6. I was told that time off work was not their concern and that nothing could be done other than refunding the entire purchase -- an unreasonable solution for a customer who has already waited over a month for furniture that was paid for in full at the time of purchase. This situation reflects a pattern of poor communication, unreliable scheduling, failure to honor confirmed delivery commitments, broken promises, lack of accountability, and unprofessional treatment by customer service staff. I experienced: * Multiple conflicting and inaccurate automated delivery confirmations * Representatives denying documented communications * Rude and accusatory behavior from customer service * Failure to provide reasonable delivery accommodations after a company-caused delay * Broken promises regarding reimbursement and management follow-up * Complete dismissal of the financial and personal inconvenience caused * Wasted time and lost wages due to repeated missed deliveries * Lack of any meaningful effort to resolve the issue I am requesting a partial refund of $600 as compensation for the repeated delivery failures, lost work time, inconvenience, broken commitments, and poor customer service. I am not seeking cancellation of the order -- I am seeking accountability and a fair resolution for the hardship caused by Bob's Furniture's handling of this transaction. I hope Bob's Furniture will take this complaint seriously and provide an appropriate resolution.
