We opted for 0% financing and when we received a somewhat suspicious piece of mail and called to confirm if it was related, we received an incredibly rude response from Amy in Winchester when I suggested they better clarify the process to customers of what mail you'd receive and how payments would be made. She said "we assumed you would know what financing was" with attitude, implying I was an idiot for not knowing that some random sketchy piece of mail that nowhere other than the tiny word "furniture" looked related. I generally think sales people are a little pushy, but often polite as they want to sell you something - however, apparently after sale they are rude and quite frankly make me regret my purchase. Our salesperson was very friendly and helpful and got us set up with delivery. We had gotten a great deal on a Gat Creek table (at our church) but needed chairs since it didn't come with any. We liked the chairs we tried at the store and are expecting that they will look great with our table. Time will tell on the value. The chairs cost more for each chair than the table. Updating my review. Delivery was set for a date and then we got a text that the furniture was being delivered 2 weeks early. We were also told by the salesperson that the delivery company could move our existing sofas on outside. Now we are getting the run around on the delivery date and can't get a manager to call us back. Now I understand why this store gets such low reviews. read more

Horrible, horrible experience. Sofa and ottoman we purchased almost immediately had issues including a broken foot, broken zipper, and worn fabric. We paid for the protection plan and in the month since making the claim, have received nothing but the runaround. We were told we caused the damage... not the case. Avoid at all costs. read more

THEY WILL LIE TO YOU, SCAM YOU, AND RUIN YOUR LIFE. On February 29th, 2024 my wife and I closed on a new build in Raven Oaks in Winchester. We walked into an Ashley Homestore and picked out furniture for the entire house. The employee came back and read from a list on his IPad that included everything we wanted, and we agreed that was a great deal for all of those items.  After reading off ALL of the items we wanted out loud, but never showing me ANYTHING, he handed me an iPad with a giant signature box and said "you know, standard stuff, if it's defective or broken when it arrives you can get a refund" There was nothing else for me to review, it was just a signature line that he had zoomed in on. At no point did he ever show me any paperwork regarding the transaction or mention a "no refund policy no matter what even if I am lying to you and just taking your money right now" clause. He told me the amount included EVERYTHING we picked out and I believed him. I got home, looked at the PDF, saw that half of the furniture for the house was missing but the full amount was charged and my mind was blown. I returned the next day and immediately ask what had happened and why half of the things I had ordered were missing but I was still charged the full amount. We certainly would have noticed if the sofas that we CAME IN TO THE STORE TO BUY were left off the list. We were told they would have to speak to the store manager and he would call me back. Nobody called. I called their corporate office and they said the can't help me. I'm now stuck with a half empty house and and a store credit of $8,000 that nobody can seem to find or tell me about. read more

Buyer beware of Warranty. I bought a couch, recliner. With that said I paid over $500 for a 5 year warranty. I can't stress enough to read the fine print. If you dont report what is damaged within 30 days they refuse to honor the warranty. Then you have to submit a form, receipts, diagram of where the damage is and at least 5 pictures. They definitely make it so time consuming I bet they hope not many people will follow through with the claim. Also when submitting the claim they will refuse to honor it if the claim paperwork is not in within 30 days of requesting a claim. They also take at least 5 days to see if they will even repair it or deny it. Please read all the negative reviews before you buy from Ashley Furniture. I did not check out the reviews it's my fault for buying from a scammer furniture store! I will never buy from them again. read more

In early September, my wife and I stopped by the Ashley store in Winchester and purchased a couch and loveseat, arranging to have them delivered within 3 weeks. While our store experience was quite good with Kelly, every single interaction with them since has been absolutely horrendous. First, I was told that the delivery guys could move our couch 10 feet out onto the porch, which was a concern because I have a bad back. Delivery was then scheduled by Ashley for a day mid-week, for which I took a day off of my busy work schedule to accommodate. No worries there. However, once I arrive at our cabin, which was a 4 hour round trip for me, Ashley was a no-show. I called in and they told me that it had in fact been scheduled for a different day, which was absolutely not the case. I had specifically selected that day because I had a more open schedule (and I had a delivery confirmation email to prove it). Just out of curiousity, I asked if they had notes in my account that instructed the delivery guys that I would need help moving the couch 10' to the porch. Nope. There was no note even though I was told it was in there and they would be happy to help. I was then told it would be added (a second time). When asked what they would do to compensate me for my wasted time, customer service said I needed to call the store. In speaking with Amy, a floor manager, she told me she would look into it and get back to me. Did she? Absolutely not. Not a peep. She did ask the salesperson to get back to me, and she simply said that her notes said the later date, so I must be wrong. When I offered to forward her the email confirming the date that I was awaiting the delivery at the cabin, silence. I never heard from either of them ever again. Fast forward, I had to hire someone to be at the cabin to accept the furniture. But guess what? The delivery guys said there was no notation that they had to move the couch onto the porch, so they refused to do this simple task. Overall value: If you take into account Ashley's incredibly poor customer service and disingenuous manager/customer service staff, I would say that Ashley offers a poor overall value as a place to buy your furniture. I would advise you to steer clear. read more
