I take sleep VERY seriously and appreciate the system they have to narrow down their selections. Edrees wasn't pushy, took his time to explain what he was doing when having us test out like 7 different models & their features, and then left us alone for a few to make up our own minds. It was a good processes and we felt good about the decision. This brands are all solid and well-known, and their process seems pretty tight. Give yourself an hour or so if you go, it's no surprise these things aren't inexpensive and you're going to spend a quarter of your life in bed, so make it count.

She showed me the quality item that she generally recommends for inner spring mattresses and worked within my budget to get me a satisfactory price which included delivery and takeaway of my old box spring. Karen was polite, low pressure, and very knowledgeable. We spent a few minutes also discussing mattresses and it was obvious that she knew her product lines. I Highly recommend the business. She helped me narrow down my choices based on what I liked and disliked about past mattresses. She didn't try to get me to buy more than I needed and gave pros and cons of the mattresses, pillows, and frames. Theresa also discussed prices with me, which helped me get just what I wanted - a great setup and value for my money. The two men who delivered my mattress, pillow, and adjustable frame (maybe father and son??) were friendly and efficient. They removed my old mattress, boxspring, and frame for a small fee, which saved me from having to figure out how to dispose of it all. I am SO happy with my purchase, and so glad I went to Baer's! If I have a need for new mattresses in the future, I will definitely return to Baer's. I highly recommend them!

My family and I are big advocates for supporting local businesses rather than big box companies. However, we expect from all, big or small companies, respect and exceptional customer service. This is not what I experienced at this store. I went into the store looking for a sectional and possibly also a dining table. The salesperson was very attentive and willing to answer my questions. Before purchasing the sectional, I decided to check out other stores that same day to make sure I was getting a relatively good price and wasn't missing out on something else. I returned to the store the next day with the intention of buying the sectional but this is when it turned.... I asked the salesperson if the price for the sectional was the best given I saw another couch very similar at another store for less. He told me to speak to the owner regarding the price. I told the owner that I saw a similar couch for less and he told me they weren't the same. Of course I knew that! I asked him what the difference was and he gave me a short response - the quality. Ok... that was a general response so I asked further, "what about the quality?" He answered, I don't know how to explain. After a few seconds, he said.. the fabric.. warranty. Alright so then he asked me "is this your first time buying a couch?" And I said, yes. He then looked at the salesperson and said, "you see". He then said, "how old are you?" I responded, 34. He then he said "you're researching like you're 17". I was dumbfounded. It was insulting as if age had anything to do with this. He was alluding to my ability to purchase furniture, lack there of. I walked out and will never return. He tried to say that I "looked 17" which was even worse given I am a grown woman and want to be treated as such. Age has nothing to do with shopping for furniture!!! If I didn't sound "informed".. take the time to educate me, your customer, as that extra step may take you a long way! Maybe it will get you more business vs. losing it. Respect and customer service is key!!!

And I was early (for once) so I decided to venture to MATRESSLAND. Large warehouse filled with matresses - duh. I was greeted by a very friendly sales person, Navid. He showed me different mattresses until I found one that suited my needs and my price range. I needed something firm but not too firm, I cant do memory foam (back problems) so he recommended something in between. I knew it was the right mattress from the moment I layed down on it. Firm but not to firm, soft but not too soft. Navid was very helpful and also hooked up the delivery, I was unable to make the first date so the dispatch was able to fit me in 2 days later with a 3hr window. The mattress came as expected with no stains or defects. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new mattress.

Sold us a $1400 mattress that ended up being terrible and when we tried to exchange it on a different mattress, we ended up having to spend an additional $800 for the right to exchange. Save your money and headaches and go elsewhere.
